It has been going on for 3 or 4 months. I tore down a barn and had a new one put it in.  He did a terrific job and put in all the highest technology and LED.  I think the work was worth it. He believes no question is a stupid question, any question I had he explained to me and knew I wanted to understand what was going on.

I have used them a couple times. The first few times were good. He came out to repair the exterior light. The next day the light was not working. He came out and wanted to sell me a used motion sensor for $50 which I did not want. He charged me an additional $75.00 for the second service call even though the first issue was not resolved.
Response from Diamond Electric
"This work was for a low quality outdoor motion sensor light fixture on a 3 way switching system that had been in service for many years. When I initially came out the fixture had no power with the problem being a faulty 3 way switch. The faulty switch was located outdoors. I was told the outdoor switch was never used so I recommended removing it from the system as it is much more difficult to know if a motion sensor fixture has power with a 3 way setup. It was agreed upon to remove the outdoor switch from service. Once power was restored to the motion sensor fixture, it was tested using the fixtures built in test setting, and everything worked as it's supposed to. I was called back the next day and was told that on the night following the initial repair the fixture didn't come on when motion should have been detected. I placed the unit into it's test mode and once again it worked as it's supposed to. I asked if the indoor switch was in the on position, where it needs to be for the motion sensor to work, and was told "I think so". I took the unit out of test mode and overrode the photocell, which only allows the fixture to work when it's dark out, and the fixture did not work as it should. Knowing that this customer is on a tight budget, I offered 3 options: 1) Replace the motion sensor with a new one, which I would have to go out and purchase, and gave a cost to perform. I will only provide high quality motion sensors, which come at a premium, as they are the only ones that can be relied upon by a quality contractor. The budget units found at the big box stores, such as the one having trouble, are notorious for lack of quality. This was the most expensive option. 2) Replace the motion sensor with a slightly used, high quality, known to be working, motion sensor that I had on hand. I normally wouldn't even offer such a thing, but knowing his special needs, I decided to. This would give many of the same benefits of option 1 at a much reduced cost as well as no travel expenses to and from my supplier. 3) Remove the existing motion sensor from service so that the light will only illuminate via the wall switch. This was the least expensive option. The customer chose option 3."
