Not much to tell. When he did finally come out to it was quick. He left and I didnt hear from him again.

Chris was the most responsive contractor i interviewed. that's the reason i hired him. He always answered all my calls and returned all my emails. He always gives suggestions and helps me save some money on unnecessary stuff. also, helps me pick material and designs my bathrooms.

Paul was punctual, located and corrected the problem and was highly professional. From the outset, Chris promptly returned our calls and followed up afterward. We will certainly consider C&C Quality Home Improvements for future projects and would not hestitate to recommend them to our friends, family and neighbors. Thank you Chris and Paul!

Chris performed a home inspection for Basement Waterproofing Interior & Exterior Inspection & Analysis. He was very professional and even helped me to change a water filter in my house while he was there. Although I did not choose at this time to waterproff my house, I would consider calling Chris again in the future.

Worker showed up on time, finished quickly, was very clean.

Paul was the electrician who came. He was a tiny bit late, but called multiple times to give an update on his timing, which was much appreciated. He was very professional, and got right down to work. As I gave him one task, he'd quickly finish it and ask me what the next one was. I was scrambling to find more stuff for him to do, since he worked so efficiently. I ran out of projects! What I thought were two hours of projects turned out to be 45 minutes' worth. I can't vouch for the rest of the C&C organization, since we only used its electrical service, but we were very pleased.

Never happened - wouldn't deal with these people.

I signed up for a Big Deal with C&C for 2 hours of plumbing service for $109. I called C&C the same day (a Friday) and talked to Kris, the owner. I told him I had found some sump pumps on line at Home Depot, and wanted him to install one of them. He said he would do so the following Tuesday, but that the quality of Home Depot pumps was not all that great. He recommended one that was a bit more expensive, but of much higher quality, and said he would buy it for me. I agreed. On Tuesday he called and told me he was running about an hour late, and I appreciated the heads up. When he arrived, he determined that the switch box to which the old pump had been connected was not functional and had to be replaced. He said that one of the circuits in the switch box was out and that I should get an electrician to trace the circuit throughout the entire house, I went to every room in the house and garage and porch and all lights were working. told him I could not find any part of the house that was without power.. He then looked at the cicuit breakers and determined that the one that controlled this circuit was not functioning properly, and replaced the breaker with one he had in his truck. Then he re-wired the circuit box. This electrical work took about an hour. He did not have all the 90 degree PVC connectors he needed, and had to go to the local HW store twice to get the ones he needed. He had to go a third time when he saw that the sump pump did not have an built in back flow valve. Kris completed the work 3 hours and 10 minutes after he arrived. The cost of the pump and HW store purchases came to $302. THe cost of the Big Deal coupon for 2 hours of labor was $109, so I assumed that he would charge his standard rate of $100/hr for the third hour, but he said that it had taken him almost an hour to pick up the pump from the plumbing supply store and that this time should be included. I wasn't very happy about that, since I would have been glad to pick it up myself to save $100 if he had told me where to go, but since I had agreed to have him get the pump I felt I should pay for that hour., which I did. The total cost to me was $611. There is no A- or B+ in Angie's rating scale, which is the grade I actually feel is correct. The best parts of the experience was Kris' ability to handle both the electrical and plumbing issues --although I was troubled by his first suggestion to hire an electricicain --especially since he himself was qualified and able to do the electrical work. I will give him a chance to bid on future work, but am not ready to say he is the only plumber I will look at.

It started off a touch bumpy when the guy called 2 hours before schedule to say he would be at my house in 10 min. The problem was, that I was about an hour away from my house. So, not good. The problem arose, because technically, C&C is not doing the work. They are actually sub-contracting, so they wrote down the wrong time and told this other electrician to be at my place earlier than agreed. Apparently something that happens often with C&C. Now for the good news. The electrician who came was great. He was polite, quick, clean and accommodating. Did everything perfect. So next time I would just cut out the middleman.

We purchased a $99 coupon for 2 hours of electrical labor through Angie's list. They said kindly they would extend the expiration date, as we were without power for 2 weeks here after Sandy. Then we made a mistake; we missed getting home from thanksgiving vacation in time for our scheduled estimate. By 20 minutes. We called to let them know; they already left our home when we called. We apologized profusely. They said they won't come back unless we give them $100 for gas money and wont honor the coupon. And that's just for an estimate.Thanks but no thanks. Won't purchase a coupon of any kind again from Angie's List. Poor service.

Overall pretty good. Was charged an extra hour of service for going slightly over the time the deal covered.

When I called (several times) I was told people would get in touch with me and they never did. I gave up hope the work would ever get done.

After paying through Angie's List, nobody from C&C contacted me in the time frame stated. I had to contact them twice, a few weeks apart, to get an appointment set up. The person who took my call was unable to give me any idea of how much or what type of work might be accomplished in two hours. So I made a list of small jobs and prioritized them. The electrician changed an existing outlet to 220, which I needed for a wall a/c unit to be installed later in the week. I showed him where the a/c was to go and he asked me where I wanted the outlet. I indicated a spot shortly below the unit and he said most people would put it down lower. That later turned out to be 3" lower than the cord would reach and you aren't supposed to use an extension. There isn't enough slack in the wiring he ran to move it up even 3". And I was left with two holes in the basement ceiling and a hole beneath the 220 outlet to patch. He was finished after 1.5 hours and was going to leave. I asked if there were any other quick jobs on the list he could do - replace a loose plug or fix a broken dimmer switch. He told me that they run these specials mainly to 'meet people' rather than get anything difficult done like what he had done. That most people just want a light fixture changed out with a new one. I do that myself and it doesn't require an electrician.

Chris did an excellent job. He replied immediately to my request for information by phoning me. He came the same day, coming at evening/night and immediately fixed the problem.

Chris was very professional and easy to work with. He provided an estimate for the job within one week of visiting our home. His team worked very quickly and showed up on time every day. They paid attention to keeping the dust to a minimum by sealing off areas that could be affected. We have an old house and the old concrete floor was real challenge to remove. Chris did not charge us for the additional labor to demolish the bathroom. The tile work was done expertly and Chris and his workers always listened and responded quickly to our wishes to add additional features such as additional power outlets after they had completed most of the electrical work. We had some delays because the tile we ordered was not ready and the tile store ordered the wrong tile. Chris worked with the tile store and went and picked up the tile for us when it arrived at the store. They pay attention to quality and didn't cut any corners . Chris is very customer focused and wishes to build long term relationships with his customers.Our bathroom looks really good. The larger shower with recessed lighting really makes a big difference (my teenage son is taking two showers a day now!). I was very happy with the quality and service provided and will definitely plan to have C&C remodel our downstairs bathroom sometime next year.

I called to set up an appointment, he said that I was too far for him to come out to but he did say that he would come out on Friday anyway and give me a call but I have not heard anything from him and it now has been a few weeks.

Needed major roof repair due to Hurricane Sandy. They came over promptly and did the job the very next day. I would absolutely use them again for any house repairs or renovations in the future!!!

I ordered the Angie's list deal which included an attic inspection and the sealing of up to 4 roof cracks. This was $150. All I received for this money was an estimate for a new roof which ended up being several thousand dollars greater than the prior estimates I received with other roofers. To add insult to injury the owner of the company emailed me to rate my experience on Angie's list. I asked him if I should rate my experience in getting an estimate which I can get for free with any other roofer. He said he can seal some holes or apply the $150 for the new roof. When I responded to him that I'd like some holes to be sealed, I received no response. It seems the owner only uses email when he stands to make money. This was my first time using Angie's list and it was a lousy one. I don't think I will ever buy a prepaid deal through Angie's list again, all thanks to this roofers complete lack of care for his clients.

I can't recommend this vendor. I believe he is capable of quality work. He finished most of the work, but I had to point out that the vanity was uneven and he put a shelf in my bathtub I didn't want. I had to remind him to put up my towel bars and he only put one up. He left the screw caps off the toilet. He didn't complete the work and did not contact me again.

The job went very well. Even though we were outside their usual customer area C & C still honored our $99 deal. The electrician who came to do the job was very professional and skilled. The job required some tricky snaking of wires to minimize the need to cut into the ceiling. He completed the job with a minimal amount of cutting and was so precise that the one hole necessary was not noticeable. He cleaned up well and left no dust or scraps behind. C & C is somewhat far away for us to use again but I would highly recommend them to customers in that area.

They have not done the work.

Easy and responsive to schedule with good follow-up. Had a number of small electrical issues that were all taken care of expertly and quickly. Technician was very intelligent and a clean worker. I was pleased with this service.

They came out and it took forever just to send the plans. When the plans finally came it wasn't what we wanted. We ended up getting our money back due to the lack service that was provided.

Chris, the owner, sent me two estimates for either one of the above repairs

Chris and his entire staff were clean, respectful and courteous. They were not only courteous to me but of my possessions. They covered everything that I store in the basement with plastic and used vacuums to minimize the dust. When the job was complete they had removed all debris and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. Chris was a real pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to use him again for anything that I would need done.
