They brought drawings, but we didn’t use them as we didn’t quite like the price. They were on time and were pretty thorough. We understood what we were paying for, but the price was just too much. I was surprised at the price that we got. They really seemed to know what they were doing.

They were very responsive to phone calls, emails and changes in plans. They were very courteous and prompt.

They were good and provided excellent service. They really worked with us to understand our requirements. They came back and modified the designs. They completed the project on time. One of our plants died and so they came and replaced it. So, it was good and it looks really nice now. They are not the cheapest as well.

I called Stopa based on the excellent ratings given here. Jeff called me back promptly. We arranged a time for him to look at the job, At the appointed time, he called and told me he had missed my exit. Half an hour later he called again and said he had missed the exit going the other way, but that now it was too late to come because he had to be somewhere else. We agreed that he would come the next morning at 10AM. When he failed to arrive the next morning, I called and left a message asking if he was coming. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.

They always show up on time to do the work for me. He will always call you back if you call him. They all are very courteous when I talk to them about the job.

In July, 2008 I contracted with Stopa Landscaping to remove a brick patio behind my condo. The patio was edged with railroad ties that were rotting and bricks were collapsing due to an improperly installed patio years ago. Jeff gave me an estimate to replace this failing brick patio with one I love! I also had the patio raised to meet my sliding glass doors so I could enter and exit my unit without worry of falling. Jeff's crew came in and gave me exactly what I wanted! Since I live in a condo complex they were mindful of my neighbors. They did an outstanding job! The colors of the brick work perfectly with the area. They replaced three overgrown juniper trees with flowering trees. The entire job has made such a difference. Should have done it sooner.

Jeff struck us for his wonderful attitude from when we first called him. Once he arrived, he and his guys worked with us until we were perfectly satisfied with placement of the trees. His price too was lower than at least two other estimates, by over 30% no less! We loved him so much we had him back to clean gutters and will call on him again next season for some more landscaping.

Jeff and Jen were very professional and easy to work with and their design software is very cool. They returned calls promptly and showed up when they said they would. When everything was planted, it seemed a lot smaller than the images I had been shown, which was disappointing. Also, Jeff's crew would not dispose of some synthetic mulch we had so we had to remove that ourselves. I didn't understand why this was a problem since the price included a dump fee and this issue had not come up in the evaluation and/or proposal. Those two issues aside, it was a good experience.

Jeff Stopa was one of the few landscapers to return my phone call within a day. I met Jeff within a few days of our phone call to discuss what my husband and I wished to have done in our back yard. His designer Jen then came to our home to create a landscape design which we received within a few days of her consultation. Not only did we receive a landscape plat but also digitally enhanced pictures of what our back yard landscaping would look like when done. Jeff and Jen were extremely easy to work with and always good on their word as to when they would come for appointments. Jeff had to coordinate his work with the fence company's work and that also went very well. I would highly recommend Stopa Landscaping to anyone who wants old fashion service and reliability.

The experience has been excellent. The communication has been great, the design is wonderful and the execution has been a pleasure. They are very punctual, keep the work site clean, the stone mason is an artist and having the benefit of a very talented designer on the job site has made this a "no regret" project. I am so pleased that I have decided to move on to another part of the project with them.

I had solicited several bids for this project and selected Stopa Landscaping. His price was very competitive and his references impeccable. I also viewed several other designs they did in the Greater Fairfield area including another project that won second place in the 2005 Fairfield Board of Realtors competition. The project began on the date promised and was completed in a timely manner. His crews arrived on time daily and each day they left the property clean and presentable throughout the project which took several days to complete due in part to the extra stonework.
