I scheduled a same day appointment on their website at 8:30 AM. Around 10:45 AM, the technician was at my office repairing my window. The whole process from meeting the technician to signing the credit card slip took about half an hour. He also cleaned my windshield and vacuumed the front area. Quick, easy, and painless.

We had a problem with them, in that we setup everything online which was great, it was a nice easy website to maneuver. Some of the questions on there, one of them had to do with "whether you want to have an Aftermarket or a windshield replaced that is for your make of a car." We have a Toyota and it needed windshield repair. We could either get Aftermarket, meaning it is not a Toyota approved product, or we could have a Toyota approved product. We requested the Toyota approved product. We got a call this morning, they were supposed to install it. They evidently did not read the information on the e-mail where we applied to have this done and they did not have this, and now we are having to redo it all next week, because they have to get the correct windshield. So that is a problem for us. They got a nice website, but they are evidently not monitoring their website, as they should be. They also said that they were going to call and confirm the information on the website, and they never did that either. Their price is reasonable, but this is going to be an insurance claim anyway so we would not be paying anything, our insurance would cover it all. The only thing that we know about this company is they dropped a bomb on a couple of little areas and now we are having to reschedule for next week, so that is a problem. Other than this, I do not know what the quality of their work is, but initially it is an issue.

I had a cracked windshield on my car and received a coupon in the mail for a company that would give me a low price. However, I found no review of them on Angie's list and did find several bad reviews through an Internet search. Through Angie's List I settled on Safelite Autoglass and picked the location closest to my home. I was able to pick the day and window of time to have someone come to do the work. I was sent an email that included details on the person that would be coming to do the work. He came within the time-window and did a great job of replacement and cleanup. My only complaint is that the code given in Angie's List for a discount was not accepted by Safelite.

It was a smooth service. I used Safelite's website to schedule an appointment. After I filled in the necessary fields of information on-line, Safelite called me immediately to confirm insurance information, etc.. Then I decided on a location to have the work done. I choose the Longmont store due to location. We dropped off our Honda at 8:00 am on Saturday. During this time, we also discussed replacing the wiper blades. The cost of the wiper blades were not much different than if I purchased my own set from an auto store. Safelite called about 2 hours later to confirm the car was done. When picking up the vehicle, the receptionist reviewed the paperwork with us. They cleaned all the windows and vacuumed the car when completing the windshield replacement. Safelite also replaced our E-470 Toll tag that was attached to the old windshield and gave us the instructions on how to activate the new toll tag. It was a great experience.

I thought I had several chips on my windshield after getting hit with large chunks of snow while driving on the highway recently. I located a nearby Safelite (on Angie's List!). I dialed an 800 number and a pleasant young woman asked about the repair needed, verified my insurance, and set up an appointment for the same day at the location I specified. She emailed a confirmation. I was pleasantly greeted when I arrived and even told that I was welcome to bring my dog into the waiting room. We went for a walk instead, returning about 30 minutes later. The receptionist let me know that the serviceman had tried to reach me because he could not find a repairable chip in the windshield. Sure enough, I had missed his call. I then pointed out the chip that I thought needed repair and he said it had already been repaired! He pointed out the "halo" that indicated a previous repair. I didn't remember getting it repaired and he said this often happens--a driver will hear something hit the windshield, look for the damage, and find a chip that may or may not be current. When I pointed out some other dings, he reassured me that those are normal for Colorado! They did not need repair because the glass was not broken. He was very cordial and reassured me that I had done the right thing to have the windshield checked.
