The experience was a wonderful one. We got estimates from 5 other companies and Pioneer impressed us the most with their professionalism. Since completing the work, they've been quick to answer our questions and careful to see that the job was done exactly to our liking (the owner did not one but two final inspections to make sure things were done perfectly). We're just so pleased and grateful for Pioneer's hard work and thoughtfulness.

They provided very good service. Very professional. Anytime in the future i choose to replace the entire fence, they will be the only people I call.

It was a small job, so they sent out 1 man on a Saturday. He did the job quickly and it was well done. There were some problems getting the service scheduled, but I think it was because the job was so small for them.

Did a very good job of communicating, showing up on schedule; some very slight delay in responses but not at all bad and they are a family run business. Job started on time and finnish ahead of schedule; quality was excellent (compared severaldifferent companies' work), couldn't be happier with the 6' privacy fence. Great person, very easy to work with.

We love our new 1/3 acres of fence. We had a variety of fence needs and Richard was very helpful in getting it done right. We had to deal with Denver zoning so had to mix and match for different sides of the house to meet code standards.We had some delays due to a neighbor disputing the boundary and he was patient with us. They were quick to repair their sprinkler line breaks and once the work started it was completed within a few days. Very happy with the end result and Richard & his daughter are very nice to work with. We had other bids and Pioneer was in the middle.

We could not be more pleased with our new fencing. Our horses are now safe within sturdy, functional three rail fencing that maximizes our property space and is much easier to use than the previous configuration. We expanded some pastures and realigned others. Gates were moved to accomodate farm vehicles and to facilitate ease of moving of our horses. Richard graded access points at the gates to ensure proper function. The process was minimally disruptive and Richard maintained very effective communication throughout, even while I was out of town. He was especially concerned that my daughter was comfortable while the work was performed. Richard's insight into the many peculiarities of horse ownership was invaluable.

Owner's daughter came out to take a look & give me an estimate. She was helpful and her rough estimates helped me make some more decisions. I realized that I needed to do more research and have a better idea of what I wanted before proceeding.

Richard was very professional and responsive to phone calls. He had a foreman pn site who was also professional-pleasure working with them!

Everything was fine as far them giving us an estimate. They were good, professional and quick to respond. We felt that the bid was reasonable compared to others and it was just that we decided that we were going to do the work ourselves. They were very responsive and came out within two days of us calling. They were also very professional and punctual.

The people at Pioneer were personable, and easy to work with. They provided a clear estimate inclusive of all the work to be done. All their work was done on-time and on the money, and the new fence and gates are solid and a real visual plus for our property. All the posts are set in concrete and the fencing material is top grade cedar. Richard Shepherd, the owner, took the time with me to recommend materials and techniques for staining the new wood. There was only one punch-list item and Richard had that fixed the next day. Excellent clean-up, and no damage to the sprinkler system. We are completely satisfied with Pioneer?s work.

I felt that he was very knowledgeable, very professional, and very good. He responded very well and very quickly. I didn?t have any problems with him. Unfortunately, the quote was out of my price range. I will call him again in the future.

Richard (owner) came out and provided a detailed estimate for replacing my fence that was falling down. He was able to detail out all sections of the job as I was splitting one side with the neighbor. He was very quick in getting out and was especially helpful since he was having knee surgery the next day. He still made his way out and detailed the job. Initially it was quite a bit cheaper than final work, but that is only because I had changed my mind on style of fence and types of slats to use (went to wider size). I also had a problem with the dumpster in the back alley being bashed into the fence which obviously leads to a shorter life span. He suggested and implemented putting two large 6"x6" posts in front of the fence that the city could set the dumpster against so they did not hit the fence. This worked out great! I believe I approved the work on a Monday and they were tearing out the old fence on Wednesday morning. It was very important to me to have it done quickly as my dogs now have dog doors and obviously the fence is critical. They were very concious of this and by Friday morning I had the entire back fence done and the dogs free to do their thing while they worked on the sides and front. They even came on Sat. to finish up the job. The crew was awesome and understood exactly what I wanted. If they did not understand, they would ask and we would go through what I wanted done. They worked hard, efficient, quiet, and clean. The yard was much cleaner when they were done than it was when they started. I honestly did not get additional estimates, but I would bet that they are on the cheaper side and you will get high level professional service. VERY Satisfied!

Richard and all of his crew members were professional, efficient and thoroughly pleasant to deal with from start to finish. We could not be more pleased with the end result. The fence is a work of art with cedar posts with beveled tops, cedar posts top and bottom between the support posts for added stability, black vinyl-coated chain link fencing and a cedar gate with sturdy black hardware. The black chain link makes it looks like we spent a fortune and was actually a less expensive option. They cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis and, if not for the beautiful new fence, you wouldn't have even known they had been there. I highly recommend Richard and his company and will definitely use them in the future.

They were very prompt and easy to work with. The price was several hundred dollars les than previous estimates from different companies I had contacted before I joined Angie's List.

The owner Richard was very professional and quickly responded to all my inquires. The estimate he gave me to do the work was FAR LESS than other estimates I received. They honored the Angie's List coupon. The work was performed on time and is of a better quality than the rest of the fences in my neighborhood. I will absolutely use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone. I do not have one bad thing to say about this experience!

I had Pioneer Fence out to my home to give me an estimate for a replacement privacy fence. Mr. Shepherd (owner) came out and discussed my options for fencing. He was very professional but friendly. After discussing different options, he took measurements and had an estimate for me the following day. His crew was out within two weeks to tear down the old fence, they even set temporary wire fence for my dog. The crew was very efficient and polite,they completed the installation that week and took care in cleaning up all of their things from my yard down to the last nail. I would definitely recommend Pioneer Fence Co. for any fencing needs.

It went great. He did the work while we were out of town camping with our dogs, which simplified things, as the fence had to be down several days while the new posts set in the concrete. He had it done by the time we got back from our trip. It looks great, and I didn't have to do it!

The work was completed as specified in the written contract and on the schedule agreed to. Some pickets had minor defects (splits, knot holes) when originally installed. The contractor agreed to replace these pickets, and this was accomplished within approximately one week. Richard Shepherd is a fine gentlemen to do business with, and I highly recommend this company. This is the second fence job this company has done for me. Five years ago, they installed a split rail fence that I have been very happy with.

THE COMPANY DOES ALOT OF WORK AROUND OUR SUBDIVISION AND WE KNEW THAT THEY WOULD BE GOOD FROM REFERENCES. THEY MATCHED THE EXISTING FENCE WELL AND THE GATE LOOKS GREAT!
