Following installation,reviewed the equipment and safety information thoroughly with customer. I particularly like supporting a small business vs a larger corporation. The price was affordable and fair without pushing add-ons or up charges that were not necessary to my current need. I would recommend them to anyone and would call on them again as needed. My experience with Balkan was excellent. Andon called me roughly 15 minutes after I submitted a request through Home Advisor. He was able to give me a quote over the phone after I sent him pictures. I was able to get an appointment quickly. They showed up right on time and gave me a call to let me know they were on their way. I ve learned we have an expensive kind of water heater, and feel we got an excellent price for our high quality water heater and installation. They were very thorough in explaining what they were doing and honest in what we (unfortunately) had wrong with our old water heater. They were sure to protect all our floors and finished quickly. Overall we are very satisfied and will certainly recommend Balkan Plumbing to anyone I know!

Pete and I discussed project over the phone (installing new gas hot water tank). He had a very thorough checklist of questions that we worked through before he gave me the quote for the work. He also made a 'best recommendation' for specific product and the warranty life based on how long we expected to be in our home and normal usage.He answered all of my questions about time to do the job, if quote included haul away of old tank, etc. Very polite when I thanked him, but requested another couple of days to get additional estimates. I called him as he was best bid and we scheduled for 48 hours later. As promised, he called 30 minutes prior to arriving - and he and Andon arrived right on time. We reviewed space, fittings, water drain, etc., then Pete and Andon went to work. After they had cleaned up, hauled out old tank and tested faucets, etc., they reviewed operations, settings and maintenance of new tank. They did a great job of protecting floors, stairs (all wood) and walls during their work. Everything completed in under 2 hours! Definitely recommend them and will call with my next project.

Pete from Balkan Plumbing called me immediately after I submitted an email to Home Advisor on the weekend. His price was lower than the other quotes and was at our house the next day installing the new hot water heater when other installers could not come out for a few days. I was extremely impressed with the work and professionalism that was done by Pete and his partner. I plan on using them in the future for other projects and repairs.
