Lucky Duct

It was overall a good experience for the price.

The tech was polite and knew what he was doing. We'd had a little mixup (my fault) on the address for the service, but the tech was very gracious about the mistake. He cleaned the ducts, which now look clean from the areas that I can see.

Cleaning of the ducts was satisfactory. We had actually called them because of a problem with the vent over the microwave that was driving us crazy, but decided we might as well have them clean the ducts as well. While they were hearing cleaning the ducts, they proposed a solution to the microwave problem and said they would come back to handle it. We have called them multiple times to schedule the follow-up and have never received a call back.

We think Lucky Duct did a great job. They thoroughly cleaned our furnaces & even gave us appropriate filters to use in our two furnaces. We had paid for one furnace cleaning through Angie's List, and added to that $399 amount for the 2nd furnace system. They were prompt; arrived at 9 a.m. as said. Got right to work with attaching their hoses to ducts. Cleaned up after themselves and respected our mischievous dogs! Asked if we had any other questions or concerns. Very professional men.

I believe they were good. After they left I remembered a couple air ducts in the basement that he missed, but I didn't feel it was necessary for him to come back out. I don't think it would have made a big difference. Over all i think he did a good job.

Service was done quickly, thoroughly and professionally.

Showed up on time, performed the services requested and didn't leave any mess.

We noticed reaction to allergens and thought the ducts needed cleaning. They did.

Andrew was extremely professional and courteous during the whole process. He checked our furnace to see if it needed to be cleaned and amazingly said it didn't. He even showed me the inside so I could see it was clean. Our ducts were a different story. They were horribly dirty and full of pet hair. The previous renters had pets and obviously didn't keep a clean house (we have had every inch of this place cleaned since moving in). We have never had a humidifier on our HVAC system, so Andrew took the time to explain the proper settings and use to maximize the effectiveness of the humidifier. He cleaned up before he left. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the service he provided and highly recommend him!

It went well. The guy was professional and on time. He did the work and cleaned up after. He was professional and answered all my questions.

One furnace motor went out and Lucky Duct jury rigged it to run all the time on a lower speed until they had time to come back and make repairs. I'm still waiting fir the call. That was early August. It's now Christmas. Safe to say they're not coming. Find a different company.

Angies List is forcing me to write a review in order to stop their intrusive pop-up message about writing a review whenever I login. The fact that Angies List does that without an option to turn off these annoying pop-ups is rude and sleazy.

I was very pleased with the work done, and with the courteous, professional manner of the technician. He went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.

I suppose I shouldn't be THAT h****** them, but its hard to give a decent review to a company that doesn't respond to your request for service. Guess they don't need the business.

After cleaning the ducts, we have much less dust around the house. It was well worth the money to have them cleaned. We think this is the first time the ducts were cleaned and they were very dirty. Lucky Duct called the night before to confirm the appt and time. He said he would be there between 8 and 8:30AM and would call about 15 mins before he arrived. The next morning he called at about 8:55AM to let me know he was about 5 mins away. Although he was not on time, the work was done properly. The job took about 4.5hrs, which is within the 4 to 5 hrs that I was quoted for the job. He was professional and answered all of our questions throughout the process. He also took the time to go over furnace maintenace and how to increase the life of our system.

When we first contacted the company, we were given a very low verbal estimate for installing air conditioning. So we made appointment for the representative to do on-site measurements and provide a written estimate. The representative gave us a verbal estimate that was twice the price we'd been quoted on the phone. The price he quoted for the air conditioning units was higher than we could purchase them retail, in direct opposition to the phone conversation. And of course the company was not interested in installing units that we purchased elsewhere. We asked for a written estimate, which the representative promised we would receive within two weeks. That did not happen. We then began calling the company to discuss the matter, and those efforts were totally nonproductive. In fact at one point eh individual told me that he had "cut off" his hand and therefore had not returned calls. He repeatedly said he would email a written estimate, which he did not do.

The Tech did a great job, was professional and on time. Did not take to long to finish the job and did not leave a mess. The air in my home is much clearer and my dryer vent is working.

They were polite on the phone, but showed up two hours late for the estimate and then never emailed it, so we never had the chance to use them. We let them know we never got the estimate and they said they would send it right out, but never did.

Arrived at scheduled time of 9 AM. Called at 815 AM to notify me that he was on his way. One person did the job. Took about 2 hours to setup equipment and vacuum hose from basement window to outside blower unit in front yard. Took him 2 hours to clean ducts, returns, and heater and A/C unit. Took an hour to break down equipment and load truck and cleanup. Ducts were very dirty and had not been cleaned since house was built in 1964. Heat and A/C units have worked very well and much less filter maintenance has been required. Great service and very professional!

The job when finished was done professionally and works great. Even though it took longer for them to to the job, they did not charge me any additional money.

They were running a bit late but communicated beautifully. They were clean, efficient and professional.

Lucky ducts went to work and cleaned all 24 ducts in my home, and when they checked on the evaporator coil above the heater, it was totally iced up! They made sure the coil thawed out and then cleaned that as well as the condenser coils, replaced the filter (with a great explanation of which type to use and how to install it properly) cleaned all the vents and just brought everything up to tip-top condition. And believe it or not, my dryer duct from my electric dryer to the outside was totally plugged up....no air was even getting through. So now I can actually feel the cool air coming out of my ducts, I don't have to worry about my dryer (for awhile), and maybe my upstairs will be cool enough to allow us to sleep at night. Andrew was professional, skilled, knowledgeable and now I won't go to anyone else for my HVAC needs. I'm totally satisfied with their work!

This company does not return phone calls. I called twice during the month of June. Haven't heard back from anyone. If you can't do the job, at least return a phone call.

I called Lucky Duct, hoping to make an appointment. I left a message with all my contact information. The next day, I left another nearly-identical message. A week later, and still no response. This is not how you do customer service, guys. Sorry for the bad rating (not to mention the loss of my business), but you've earned it.

They have very good pricing, a real good service, and it was a good job done.
