I had tree roots in my sewer line that caused a backup in my downstairs shower when I ran the dishwasher and clothes washer back-to back. I called a plumber and my insurance agent, who called ServPro of Greeley to come. Trevor and his team were so great! The situation was stressful, but they were so sympathetic and professional I quickly felt at ease. Initially Trevor sat down and explained to me what the process was going to be and gave me options on the type of product I wanted to use. He asked about any specific concerns and really took the time to listen. They communicated so well, always calling about an hour ahead of time when they were on the way and explaining in advance what they needed to do the next day. Three rooms were affected and they came in and removed the damaged carpet, drywall, toilet and vanity. They used meters to register moisture content and made sure to clean, dry and disinfect any affected areas. Before applying the disinfectant, Trevor explained to me how it might affect the household, even pets. They then left dryers and came back every day for 3-4 days to check on them, take readings, and measure the progress. They considered my situation and made sure I knew what to do if the fans shorted a breaker or if anything else came up. After that time, they said everything was okay and they would bill the insurance company, and left. I have a health issue that could be dangerously aggravated by mold or other problems, so I am very thankful to my insurance company and ServPro for taking care of this matter so diligently. I would recommend ServPro of Greeley to anyone in this situation. *NOTE: I had to hire separate contractors to replace the drywall/baseboards, paint, re-install toilet and vanity, and fix plumbing. At this time the company does not offer those services.

Servpro was at our door with three trucks and a crew in 45 minutes after I called them. They immediately began moving undamaged items out of harm's way, and removed several dozen boxes of books, and miscellaneous household and recreational items that were stored on the basement floor and had been damaged by the flood. The unsalvagable items were taken to their facility where they were inventoried and many were photographed. Servpro provided me with an electronic copy of a detailed list of the unsalvagable items so that I was able to cut-and-paste the descriptions into the spreadsheet claim form required by the insurance company - a great time saver. They also provided a photo CD with photographs of some of the items that also was very helpful in preparing the insurance claim. During the cleanup process, the crew covered all of the pathways from the front door to the basement with plastic sheeting, being very careful not to track contaminated water outside the flooded area. Throuhout the process, the Servpro crew was very courteous and professional. The service they provided was an enormous help.
Description of Work: Cleanup following partial flooding of unfinished basement caused by failure of a sewage tank lift pump. Servpro pumped out the water, removed and inventoried unsalvagable items damaged by the flood, washed and disinfected the area several times, and placed large air scrubbers and dehumidifiers in the basement to be run for several days. When the work was complete, there was little evidence that a flood had occurred.
