Calvin is prompt, polite, clean and fast. Of the three contractor's that I interviewed for this project, Calvin was the only one to come up with a unique and workable solution for my oak floor repair and refinish. I would most definitely hire Calvin again.

Calvin is a very hard working business man. He took pride in his work and was one of the only contractors that was willing to take on my project. So my hardwood floors started out as a diy project, but I ran into some major snags. I called and spoke with Calvin and he is AMAZING!!!!!!! Now the amount he quoted me I thought was way too much, but when I tell you it was worth every penny! He is an expert in what he does, very detailed and passionate about his work! I learned so much! I just LOVE my floor! Calvin completed my floors in a timely fashion ! I have hardwood throughout my home and Calvin is the only person I will be contacting. If you are on the fence on whether to hire him, STOP thinking about it and call him ASAP!! He patched, laced hardwood to my pre-existing hardwood, sanded it and got it to match exactly to the pre-existing floors. I would refer him to anyone who has hardwood floors. Thanks Calvin! My room is now the talk of the house!

Calvin was a joy to work with. His craftsmanship was outstanding. The repair he had to make was difficult due to the age of the floor and amount of work already done to it, but his patch and re-finish are flawless and cannot be seen. Calvin fit us in overnight when another vendor called in sick. He showed up when he said he would and did an amazing job with our hardwood floors. They are Doug Fir floors and could be original to the building, built in 1918. They were buried under carpet for decades but he brought them back to beautiful life. I walked on them today barefoot and couldn't believe how incredibly smooth they feel and how fabulous they look! Giddyup wasn't the lowest bid we received but we are so happy to have found them. We feel we received great service and a beautifully refurbished floor at a price we're happy with.

The original 1955 oak floors in our house were beat up and had some bad gauges from carpet stretchers. Calvin did an amazing job of repairing them and bring them back to life. We went with the clear water bourne finish and couldn't be happier. The wood's natural color is great and looks very modern. Calvin has an eye for detail and cost less than the two other quotes I got. Highly Recommended!

First let me say that Calvin was a true "artist" with his work. He was meticulous in every way and his finished product is perfect. He worked with us to develop an approach to minimize our household disruption. If there is any complaint it is that Calvin, like so many in the trades, has trouble setting and maintaining his own schedule. But his work and attitude were wonderful.

Calvin of Giddy Up Floors is an experienced and conscientious professional! I am extremely pleased with Calvin's workmanship on our hardwood floors. Our home was built in 1900 and we needed our parquet floors throughout the house refinished, in addition to one room of original pine floors that were under carpet. I got many quotes on the job before selecting Giddy Up. Many contractors were rude or shied away from the difficulty of the project. Because of Calvin's level of experience, he jumped in with a can-do-it attitude. What I appreciated most about Calvin was his meticulousness. The project timeline was pushed back, but only because Calvin wanted his work to be perfect. This is our first home and it was extremely comforting to be able to trust his integrity-- he cared as much as us about doing it well. I also appreciated Calvin's communication. He called me with any updates or changes as soon as it happened. And, he did so with honest clarity. Personally, he is a really nice person with a great sense of humor. I give my highest recommendation for Giddy Up!
