I was having a new root installed and wanted to add light to my upstairs hallway and bathroom that had no window. This company is a husband / wife team owned by Ron Garcia.  Both people were very pleasant to deal with.  Ron gave me great advice on solar tube placement.  He recommended one 14" tub in the center of the hallway at the top of the stairs.  It floods the entire hallway with light and even sends light down the stairs.  The 10" tube floods the guest bathroom with light.  I like the fact that they are round cylinders and are leak resistant as there is no real chance of water pooling around them (like I suspect sky lights would do.  I was also impressed by the fact that Ron did all his work in the hallway and the roof .... attic access was not required.  All the work was completed in several hours and no debris was left behind.  I love my Solatube product and would recommend Ron's company to anyone.

Fantastic!  Ron Garcia came the day after we called.  He not only gave us an estimate for the work to be done, but he was prepared to start work immediately.  It only took him about 2 hours to reinstall the existing solar tube skylight in our kitchen, which had become disconnected. The job required him to climb into our attic space to reattach the top of the tube. He did a first-rate professional job and left our kitchen spotless.  The whole experience was wonderful.  I would recommend him to anyone for sales or repairs of tube-style skylights.

Our laundry room is between the garage and our hallway.  No outside light got to the room and I always had to turn on the light each time I went in.  The room is 6 1/2' by 11' and we had a 14 " Classic Vusion diffuser with Natural Effect Lens Solatube installed and it is fabulous!  Best thing ever!   I never have to turn the light on anymore, except at night.  Sometimes, if the moon if full, even then I have just enough light to grab something without turning on the light.  We do think we could have gone with a smaller diameter for that size of room, but I'm not complaining.  The job was very well done and the installer was professional.  We had an extremely crazy rainstorm with heavy, heavy downpour about a week after the installation.  We were nervous about leakage and went up in the attic and everything was bone dry.  It was such a relief.  I tell all my friends about it, because I love it.

I visited the showroom at 4655 Town Ctr Dr. a few weeks prior to the installation and was impressed by what I saw there, as well as by Kim, the showroom manager. She was helpful and informative but did not put any pressure on me. I scheduled a visit for Ron to come out and look at the dark areas in my home (kitchen and small dining/living room). When he came out, he showed me where solar tubes would be most effective and explained the options - 10" or 14", with or without lighting kits, replacing the existing light fixture with a tube and lighting kit over the dining table if the the existing wiring allowed (the house is old), and just a tube between the dining and living areas if it did not. He was very professional and pleasant, gave me the information I requested, and made no effort to pressure me into making an appointment for installation or signing a contract. 
On the day of the appointment he came out and completed the installation . The wiring did allow him to replace the existing lighting fixture with a solar tube and light kit, which was my preference. He had the additional challenge of working with my old lathe and plaster ceiling, but that went well. It took approximately 4 1/2 - 5 hours to install both tubes.
I don't like overhead lighting or dark interiors. The change with the tubes is dramatic. My house is now so much lighter and very pleasant. The light with the solar tubes is natural sunlight so it feels quite different from overhead lighting, so much better! Even when the big tree outside shades a tube, there is still a significant amount of light coming in. If there happens to be a breeze blowing when the tree shades the tube, there are accompanying gentle moving shadows inside my home, which are delightful. I still find myself thinking I need to turn out the light when I leave the rooms before I remember that I don't. I am very happy with the solar tubes and with the helpful, professional service that both Ron and Kim delivered. I very much appreciate their lack of pressure on me - if they had placed any pressure on me I would have walked away without giving them any business. As it is, I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

Since we needed to have our roof replaced due to hail damage, we decided to install skylights in our main bathroom and kitchen, two of the darkest rooms in our house. Ron gave us an estimate on 11/16/10. He gave us estimates for a couple of options: one 10-inch unit in the bathroom and two 10-inch units in the kitchen; and one 10-inch unit in the bathroom and one 14-inch unit in the kitchen. Ron was extremely punctual and professional, and clearly explained all of our options. The price for both options was very reasonable - it is probably the only time a construction estimate has come in lower than what I expected it would be! Installation was set for 12/10/10 - the day our roof work was scheduled to begin. It was very easy to work with Ron to set up a time to coordinate with the roofer, and he arrived at our house on the dot at the time he said he would on the 10th. It's a good thing Ron took care of the coordinating, because even though I had told the roofing company that we were having skylights installed, the workers were completely clueless that this was going to happen. It did not matter though, as Ron was the ultimate professional and took care of everything. The skylights were installed the same day. Because they were installed before the new roof, both the skylight warranty and the roof warranty are intact. They look fabulous! We now have tons of natural light in our kitchen and bathroom - we don't even need to turn on lights in those rooms during the day. The lighting unit in our kitchen fixture is much better than our previous kitchen lighting - it looks like a recessed light. I would definitely hire Ron again, and I highly recommend both the SolaTube product and his company.
