Very unprofessional. Lots of miscommunication between logistics. Felt like it was very disorganized. The installers were great. Salesman lied to the owner in order to push the sale. House failed inspection due to an unforeseen electrical issue that I feel their electrician failed to see when hooking up the AC. Now they want more money from me. GEORGE enjoys belittling customers and talking down to them cause "hes been doing this 37 years". Was talked to like I was an idiot. Very unprofessional and very poor customer service skills. You've lost a paying customer. And I'm sorry I chose you and trusted you as the professionals to install my AC unit and work on my house. Never again.

We received the company's ad in the mail and inquired about getting our evaporative cooler up and running for the summer. I asked the customer service representative what this would cost and she said $69 - we would need to supply the new pads. The technician arrived 5 1/2 hours late on the appointed day. He told us the cost did NOT include installation of the new pads. If not to install new pads, why did we set up the appointment? He also said the base price was $66 PLUS $120 per hour for his labor. That was quite a surprise. While up on the roof he called down to my husband that the pump wasn't working. My husband asked him if it was plugged in. He said yes. A few moments later, we heard the pump going - the technician must have figured out that there were two plugs - one for the fan and one for the pump. We will NEVER use this company again - price we were quoted was completely wrong and the technician left a lot to be des

The staff was friendly and the job was performed quickly and well. We'd for sure go with this company again.

It was fine, the guy came out and they don't require a lot of attention. They did the job well.

Overall OK. Furnace is a little louder than our old furnace, even after adjustments were made. Biggest concern was the addition of two 6" holes which bring in freezing air to not only our furnace/exercise room, but to the rest of our finished basement, making 2 bedrooms, a game room and exercise room unusable! We were told this was necessary for code enforcement. We asked if the pipes could go directly to the furnace, we were told different models have this feature. No one told us this option was available. In the summer time with heat these conditions will reverse. We are waiting for the inspector to come over and to ask him how we can mitigate this problem. Air conditioning can't be tested until spring.

Nothing wrong with furnace, need them to certify, furnace working good but the tech that check it, his first minute he said that my furnace is not working and wanted to sell all kind of thing. We’re is the honest company now days don’t trust this company, this company is a crock, they are bunch of con, cannot. Be trusted, I hired another company and said that my furnace is in excellent condition and certified it, so stay away from this company.

I will never call another company for my AC and heating needs, other than Heat Depot of Colorado Springs! Let me tell you why. I called because of an issue with my AC not cooling the entire house. The sales rep came and I was pleased they offered a solution when others just wanted to replace the entire unit (which works fine. Even I know it has to do with the airflow.) He explained the process, even showin a very easy to understand video on how it would work. The video was from the procedure being featured on the HGTV program, "This Old House." This increased my confidence they really knew and could offer what I needed. It would cost nearly 2k but well worth it if it worked. The cost included having the ducts cleaned before the procedure and for three years after. The technician (Emilio) came on time. We walked through the project and he heard me say one thing, almost in passing, and what he did next blew my mind! He stopped and offered a different, much less, cost-effective approach to try BEFORE going forward with the more expensive solution. I had already paid my deposit and the rest was set to be charged at the end of the day. He could have gone with the plan, and I would have never known the difference. The original plan would have worked, but he had the integrity to offer another option. I will always trust them to do the right thing. I chose the company based on over 400 5 star reviews on Angie's List and I am so glad I did!!!!

The price was good and the installation appeared to go smoothly. The issue arose later when the area around our furnace started flooding. We thought it was unrelated to the new furnace that Heat Depot installed, but it turns out that they did not properly level the A/C coil when they placed it back down on their new furnace. This caused the flooding and a short-circuit in the new furnace. Unfortunately it was another company that was onsite to diagnose the issue, so we just used them to make the repair. Heat Depot is unwilling to accept any responsibility nor participate in any of the cost to make the repair. While they did not have an opportunity to fix their own mistake, which we understand, they certainly did not perform the work properly and are trying to act like it isn't their fault that the A/C coil drain was not leveled properly. This equates to poor workmanship and also a company that will leave you hanging if they make a mistake. Avoid doing business with them !!!!!

These guys were excellent and very professional. They explained everything to me and let me know what was wrong before performing any work. The price is excellent and fair. I am going through The Heat Depot to get my repairs done. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. Excellent work

The Heat Depot has been extremely professional and courteous. My wife & I Purchased a Carrier Furnace and a Amana Air Conditioner. We also had them do the AeroSeal for our air duct. I am a retired general contractor and have to say in all my years it was very rare to run across companies that cared about the customer 1st! Those companies always wanted to sell you their products regardless if there was a better product available. Kyle & Mike took all the time necessary to show me many different Brands as well as explain all the different features regarding the equipment choices. Not only were they patient and reasonable with us, their pricing and service exceeded everyone else that we took bids from. I would HIGHGLY RECOMEND this company to anyone looking for a quality product or knowledgeable service.

I received two calls from the Heat Depot prior to scheduling an appt. last month. We used their services a year or so ago and were pleased with the service we received from Brian. This time, however, the service was all about getting us to purchase a new furnace/air conditioner. My husband, was with the technician as he began looking at our furnace. He immediately told my husband the unit was 17 years old and had gas leaks. He told my husband three parts needed to be replaced at an estimated cost of about $1700, but it would cost only $4000 to replace the entire furnace. He continued to refer to the age of our furnace. Please note: our igniter was dirty a year or so ago causing the furnace to take longer to kick on and heat. Brian cleaned the igniter, at that time, and we've had no issues since. My husband had to directly ask the technician this time to clean our furnace and the tech only did so after my husband provided him with canned air. And, my husband had to request the tech clean our igniter, and according to my husband he did so reluctantly. My initial response was about the leaks being a safety issue. The tech said it was. He showed us a tool he used to identify gas leaks and first demonstrated how a cigarette lighter leaked fumes and then demonstrated how parts of our furnace did too. We suddenly went from getting preventive care to prolong the use of our furnace with a $39 cleaning fee to a pitch for a new furnace/air conditioner at the price of $6900 with the cleaning of our air ducts, added as a bonus. This tech said he could have another technician look at our furnace in case he was wrong about his diagnosis. We agreed. However, the second technician immediately agreed we needed a new furnace and air conditioner, due to the age of our unit. I told them I would get estimates and get back to them. The senior technician who confirmed we needed our unit replaced, said he would talk to his "boss," because we are such good people to see if he could get us a better deal. Within minutes of their departure, the phone rang and we were told the cost dropped from $6900 to $6500 because he talked the boss into helping us. It has now been three weeks since our service call, and we've received numerous follow up calls from these technicians saying they would like to work with us to get a better deal. Our furnace is working like a champ. I worried about potential gas leaks, but our carbon monoxide detector should warn us. Finally, if this is an ethical and morally based company, wouldn't they emphatically let their customers know if these leaks are life threatening and NOT use a cigarette lighter, for demonstration purposes, next to a furnace?

They found two capacitors that were going bad when they inspected the air conditioner on their first visit to my house. The cost was $486, for the capacitors, so they convinced me that buying a contract for 3 yrs. would be a good idea, which was $500. When they came to check the furnace in Jan,2017, the tech said it was okay, but 2 months later, I had no heat. They sent a different tech to find the problem. He was very charming. He said the ignitor was Bad, and the blower was leaking grease, and it would be wise to buy a new furnace (from them) for $4000. I was not pleased with the news, so sought a second opinion, and this tech was in the basement about 5 minutes, came upstairs and said all it needed was some carbon brushed off of the ignitor. That was last winter, and I've had the furnace thoroughly checked since, with a good report, and this winter I've been using it regularly with no problems. Obviously, I canceled my contract with Heat Depot. I'm in my 80's and have wondered if that had any bearing..

Prompt service; came out same day that we called about our furnace needing service. The technician was polite, and explained we needed a new furnace - ours was more than 30 years old. The turnaround time was fantastic; they came out the next day, even arrived early, and installation took only a few hours. The only issue I had was the mess left behind. There was dirt all over the floor that was tracked all over the house, and the walls and trim had to be washed and paint reapplied in some areas where they scuffed the walls hauling the old furnace out. It's good I didn't have carpet in the basement - would have been a worse mess. The price quoted was the price charged, although a little on the high side for what we got. Overall they did an excellent job and I will hire again.

First spring, fine. That fall they called to schedule someone to come and look at my furnace. Never called or showed up to shut down my cooler. Next spring, same thing about the furnace.

wonderful, nothing was done until a senior technition was sent out to trouble shoot the issue, we own several rentals, and were very impressed at how affordable their services were, especially with the level of service we reseived. In most cases where initial "problem" was thought to need parts replacement, there was a safe, and easy fix that didnt require hundreds of dollars to fix. Due to the quantity of units we own, we signed a 3 year maintenance contract with Home Depot that saved us hundreds. they replaced one our furnaces and used Carrier brand furnace. These guys dont brag enough! rather than spend countless dollars on needless commercial advertising, they earn their base of clients the old fashioned way, hard work, thorough work, and treating their clients like family. Make sure to ask them about ventilation systems cleanout. And hospital grade sealing and U.V. lighting systems to keep your forced air systems bacteria free, and your home clean from allergenic pollens etc. great for families with members who suffer from Asthma!

Well, it went OK at first, or so I thought. The technician cleaned the furnace for the first time 3 years ago, but then pressured me into buying a multi-year agreement to the tune of over $600. The following year a technician came out do the annual maintenance, and said...it's fine, it doesn't even need to be cleaned. Really? I thought that was the whole purpose of the annual service appointment. Then the year after that, after servicing the furnace the technician tried really hard to get me to buy a new furnace. I told him the I thought the furnace would make it through the year. This year, I guess they thought they would try scaring me into buying a new furnace. The technician told me that the furnace had gas leaks and they would need to shut off the gas to the furnace, so I wouldn't have any heat. Fortunately, I prefer it quite cool in the house, so I didn't give in and tell them to go ahead and install a new furnace for $4,000. Instead I got a second opinion. When I had another company check the furnace, the technician found 2 gas leaks. Except all he had to do was tighten the bolt at each location where the gas was leaking, and there was no longer a gas leak. So this has left me to wonder if the technician from the Heat Depot never bothered tightening them, or if he intentionally loosened them himself so he could say that there was gas leaking? Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy with the Heat Depot. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, as I don't feel that they can be trusted.

Technicians were prompt, knowledgeable, honest, and polite. Prices were very fair. I will definitely use them again. Ask for Tony.

Very well. Technician found slight gas leak in orifices. Another technician came the next day and replaced the gas valve, which was under warranty.
