Max was very thorough and talked to my husband about a few do's and don'ts on getting the most out of our system. We had a window of 2 hours-between 10 a.m and noon-and we got a call at 10-30 and Max showed up at 10-45..very prompt, polite and resonably priced great service. Will for sure recommend them to friends and use them in the future.

It was easy to schedule a service appointment - the service rep/scheduler work with me to pick a mutually agreeable date approximately 10 days in the future and with a three hour window. On the day of service, the service man called within the service window period to let us know when he would be arriving. He gave our furnace a most thorough inspection - even checking our water for for gas leaks! We were most pleased with the service call - and the price (we found a coupon on the Home Heating Service web page).

On time, professional...got the work done in a timely manner.

They come out and do regular service. They always show up on time and get the job done. They have done work for me several times now. They have been efficient.

The HHC employee, Fred, gave me the initial estimate. Explaining the cost ratio benefits of different procedures (air sealing, R35 vs. R50). He also gave a detailed breakdown of the annual service on the heating and a/c systems, which i subsequently purchased too. As for the blow insulation, on the day of service, Fred and Clint arrived at the expected time, w/ all the correct materials, no running off to home depot for a can of sealant. They were very professional and conscientious in regard to the house. The first step was access to the attic to perform air sealing. This was done in about an hour. Then they brought in the hose to blow the insulation (cellulose). This was done in approx. 3 hrs. They made sure the eave soffits were not blocked and cleaned up any debris in the access path to the attic (hallway, kitchen). This job was done in the middle of summer, w/ temperatures in the attic in excess of 120 deg. F. so these are some dedicated fellows. And finally they helped my fill out the forms to submit to recharge colorado for the rebate and honored an angie's list coupon.

Took a few days to get the initial quote since I hit the busy part of the season, but the quote was detailed and generated in a PDF for easy viewing. Jared even did a new quote when I inquired about a different pairing of new AC and furnace replacement. Everything was handled, including running of the electrical (which I found some companies expect you to hire your own electrician adding to the complexity). The AC and furnace units were installed in the same day (approximately 10am to 6:30pm).The new programmable thermostat is very easy to program and the basics were explained by the technician.

I was extremely satisfied with the company, Jared and his helper (sorry, forgot his name). Jared came on his day off (Saturday), assessed the situation, gave me an estimate, one of three (3) I had researched which was very competitive and fair. He and his helper worked very professionally, and efficiently together and completed the job in a reasonable time; they stayed long enough to check the water heater & vent system to make sure every thing was working properly before leaving; the final statement complied exactly with the estimate. The only thing I might add is better responsiveness on the phone calls. I think that one of the reasons why things went bad initially was a failure of communication.

We have used Home Heating since our move to COS four years ago. We carry a contract with them to service and maintain our HVAC systems. With little rain and snow this winter and heat drying the air in our home, we decided to install a humidification system as an adjunct to our heating system. Scott was our technician and very professional. He recommended Skittle, which he said is less problematic than other systems. We wanted a manual control, which he set up next to our heat/AC control. That allows us to up or down the humidity depending on the temperature outside. This company is a Mom & Pop operation but it has always been very professional. The people are truly nice and even sent us a thank you note at one time for considering them to care for our needs. We highly recommend this company.

Had multiple bids. Chose this company because the estimate rep had worked with the product and knew the process - not just sales. The team that came in to do the job was professional, very clean (potential for a lot of mess in this field), on time and polite. Definitely recommend. Additionally they were able to clearly work us through the rebate opportunities within the state.

I have to say I was very impressed as this is one of those cases where a service tech could've suggested all kinds of things to fix a very simple problem. My past experience with HVAC companies has been along the line of used car salesmen: they'll tell you anything to sell you something, knowing that most of us don't know any better and are stuck believing what they say whether we like it or not. Instead the Home Heating tech was very honest, got the problem fixed and gave us a good inspection. It's a newer house and he showed me what was done well and what could've been done better when our builder did the original install. He didn't try to tell me that it needed fixing, just gave me the information and said that it wasn't perfect, but wasn't bad either. For the Mike Holmes fans in the room, it was kind of like having Mike check stuff out. Some stuff had been 'done right' some had been done to minimum code, but was fine. As for price, they told me they'd charge $85 just to have him show up and I thought they were really going to soak us since we were in a bind (-10 outside and no furnace). But after the hour he spent checking the system and answering my questions, he only charged $100. I have to say my jaw dropped. I didn't expect to get by for less than twice that. All in all I was very pleased and we'll certainly call them for any future service. They've earned my trust, and that's no small thing.

The price I paid them includes another visit for next year. They were punctual, friendly, and professional.

We didn't end up buying that house so we didn't need to use them. The man that did the estimate was very professional and knowledgeable.

Jared, Robert, and Jordan were very professional. They arrived on time and went right to work; they had the old unit out in less than half an hour. They were able to engineer a new drain for the furnace, then proceeded to install the new unit. The entire job was completed in one day, even though they had to work until after 6 PM to finish up. The following day I noticed a slight gas smell. Upon contacting Jared, he had me shut off the gas for safety (the heat wasn't needed yet) and he returned the next day. He found a small leak in a fitting. He took the fitting apart, re-doped it and reassembled it, but the leak was still there, so he then replaced the entire fitting to be safe. Problem solved. So far I am very pleased with all of my dealings with Home Heating Service. Everything I have read has emphasized that having a good heating contractor is as important or more important than the equipment purchased. I think I found the right one.

We didn't go with them as they didn't have the specific brand of furnace we wanted. Everything was fine regarding the estimate.

Fred did the maintenance work on our furnace. He is very professional and knowledgeable about the HVAC system. As a courtesy, he also checked our hot water heater and found it was leaking and corroded on top. We decided to replace it. We asked if we were getting full use of our heating and cooling. Fred told us we should keep all vents open, even in a room we seldom use, to promote air flow. He also told us we had leakage in the ducts and we hired this company to seal the ducts. In the spring, we were called for our maintenace check on the A/C, something we would not have thought of ourselves, but the company made sure they honored the contract for both heating and A/C. Scott did the A/C check and both he and Fred are very professional. What's nice about this company is that we received a hand-written thank you note from them for hiring them to do our work for us. This is a nice, thoughtful touch. We are quite happy with this company and will continue to hire them for our HVAC needs.

Estimator was on time and well prepared. he explained the process clearly. Called me 2 days after I accepted the bid to tell the unit he bid me was not available and that he was going to have to substitute for a higher efficiency model. Because it was his error there was no extra charge - just wanted to inform me that I would be getting a different unit than I was quoted. Coordinated, electrical, mechanical and permits to include inspection. It all passed.

I would trust them to do the work, I just have not had anything done yet. They were very professional also.

The two guys that did the install we very kind and did an exceptional job. We had a few issues come up with the install and there was never talk about additional cost or complaints, they just got the job done and it was done well without any mess when they were done.

Great service. Technician obviously knew his stuff. Very thorough and professional. Both the repair and subsequent installation of the new unit went extremely smooth. Price was a "little" high, but you get what you pay for. I will definitely use them for all of our heating needs in the future.

arrived within the 2-hour time block they gave me. the tech was professional and thorough. answered all my questions. didn't try to talk me into buying any new equipment. i have used them in the past (for my home and a rental unit) and will continue to use them for my HVAC needs. would have liked a phone call to let me know they were on their way. but that's not a deal breaker.

Arrived promptly and got right to work. In 5 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem, and in 15 minutes he had fixed it and was on his way. The only reason we gave them a B on price is that $80 is a lot for being there 15 minutes. I should have told my wife to have him replace the wiring on the igniter as well, because it looked like the previous owner did a hack job.
