All American Heating and AC did a great job at installing the humidifier. We are very pleased with the product and the service provided. They were very friendly and easy to work with. It was wonderful to enjoy the humidifier all winter! I highly recommend this company and would work with them again.

The advertisement stated it was total installed price and did not specify that it was only to be installed on the heating system. He arrived and installed the humidifier and connected it to the heat only. He told me on the phone while he was here that he would connect it to the fan so I could use it during the dry months of the summer. He did not have the parts (wiring) to install it to the fan but left the wiring on his truck and drove another truck due to possible snowy conditions. He then told me it would be an extra charge to connect it to the fan. I told him I was unsatisfied and disappointed with his service and would expect him to take care of it. He then told me that he was not making any money on the job because he advertised it too low on Angie's list and could not hook up the fan. I told him I was going to give him the lowest rating. He then told me he was perfectly fine with a low rating and left.

Jim and his wife arrived ahead of schedule (called and made sure it was ok). Jim was very professional and friendly. He explained everything he would do and answered any questions I had. He was very easy to work with. He demonstrated how the system worked and made suggestions on filters and cleaning schedules.

Very fast service. Jim made the appointment quickly and showed up on time. The install took approximately an hour and a half. Overall the job was very professional. Thank You!

In this update, I corrected the error Jim pointed out (called him Ben!), and also a few other typos. I noticed that the heat wasn't coming on - and we were expecting severe cold soon, so there was some urgency. I called our usual provider and found the price for a service call excessive - and to make matters worse, if a repair was needed, it would be over and above the diagnosis. (I later gathered that it isn't uncommon for this type of business to have separate diagnosis and repair costs; but the combined cost was going to be a real turn-off.) I'd had issues with this company before, so I went to Angie's list and found All American, very highly rated by lots of people. Thought I'd give them a try. I called Jim, he answered promptly, his diagnosis cost was much more reasonable than the other company's...and he seemed personable, willing to talk, and receptive to our problem. In addition, he could come over the same day! He arrived on time, and he knew his stuff - and he was able to sleuth around easily with our very recent model, high-tech Bryant furnace. I'd already used my furnace manual and had come up with a tentative diagnosis. He quickly helped me see that my interpretation of the LED codes was incorrect (so I learned something important for the future!), and he also homed in on the problem: an impeded air flow into the ignitor chamber, which caused the furnace to go into a cycle of trying to get things started and shutting down when the air flow was insufficient. But why was the air flow impeded? I showed him where the air duct exited the house. He got his ladder and inspected the intake but couldn't spot anything amiss from that end. He commented that there was a problem with that opening: no screen to prevent animals, birds and debris from getting in. He told me he once found a dead bird had clogged someone?s intake duct! (I later fixed that problem...but that's a whole 'nother story.) He then opened up the ignitor chamber on the furnace where the air came in and opened up the duct passage. He found the problem: some leaves had gotten sucked into the duct and had lodged all the way down next to the screen where the air entered the ignitor chamber. Pulled out the leaves, reassembled, and we were up and running! (How those leaves got into a 3" opening 10 feet above ground is a mystery! Swirling wind, I suppose.) Problem diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner. I admired his knowledge of all things furnace, his diagnostic expertise, and his speed of repalr. I believe he responded much faster than my other company would have, his diagnostic skills were on a par with and might well be better than the techs at the other company, and his price was dramatically lower as well. Jim is an independent businessman, he has tons of experience and know-how, his prices are reasonable. He'll be the first person I'll think of the next time I have an HVAC issue.

He was very professional. He tried to perform the sevices but there was no way he could make it work.

Jim Beardin is the most professional and hard working, honest repairman I have had working here. He actually saved my life! The last repairman left a leaky gas valve that could've cause great harm to me and my home! I highly recommend All American for honest, effective and very reasonable work.

I spoke with the company and they stated they wouldn't be able to install the humidifier onto my system for the $399.00 price.

It went very well. Jim arrived promptly at 2pm, the scheduled time. He got right to work cleaning the two furnaces and patiently listened as I described the clunking noise we were having. He vacuumed the furnaces inside and out he checked co2 and did a couple of other checks. He even wiped down the furnaces with a rag! After cleaning and doing the checks he came to do, he then began checking the clunk I was worried it may not make the noise because you know you take the car to the shop because of some weird noise but when you get to the shop it no longer makes the noise. Thankfully, the noise was there. Not only was the noise there the first try of turning the furnace on and off, it was there every try. He informed me that he would need to take the blower apart and that there would be an extra charge to do this work because this type of work was not included in the cleaning costs. I was expecting the charge because the disclaimer on the original deal stated that extra charges for additional work will be applied. After we agreed to the extra charges, he took the blower apart and lo and behold, he found a screwdriver had somehow gotten left behind, from previous installers (no longer in business). It could of been worse but thankfully that was all that was wrong with the furnace and now it runs great with no clunking. I am very happy with all that Jim did and will call him again if we have trouble.

It was fine and they did what they was suppose to do and gave me an estimate to replace my AC unit.

Great service! Purchased the humidifier deal off of Angie's list and they contacted us very quickly thereafter to set up an appointment for the install - which was they had availability the very same week. Their communication is very good and the install was done very professionally and they took the time to really explain everything (settings, filter changing, cleaning, etc.). No price change from the Angie's special either. Definitely recommend.

The provider was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this business. The owner was able to explain the problem and he was able to solve the problem. Now my furnace is blowing hot air and it is not running all the time. I found out that my crawl space didn't have outside vents so he took something apart to stop the cold air from the outside coming into the furnace.

We had a great experience with All American Heating and AC. I purchased a deal for them to install a whole house humidifier. I purchased the deal on a Sunday and they came out the very next day, bright and early, to install it. They were very professional, nice to my dog, and showed me how to work the system before they left. Would definitely recommend! The product they installed is good, as far as I can tell in the week or so that I've had it.

I was very interested in the special offered for a whole house humidifier - $399 - since my humidifier has quit working and I need a new one. I have called the listed number for four days only to be greeted by a recording that says "Please enjoy this music while your party is reached;" then after a period of time another recording that states "the number is not available." There is no opportunity to leave a message. I had questions concerning the unit being offered and the installation. So they are offering a special deal with an expiry date the day after Christmas and no way to contact them with questions concerning the product and installation. Why should I purchase their offer and them have use of my money even when they offer a 30-day, guaranteed return? Even though this is Christmas week, it concerns me that if I needed this company, they do not have an emergency number and don't care to make themselves available during the working days of a holiday week. This is not the kind of company I do business with. I contacted another company and they showed up within the hour to take a look at my system and make recommendations. The unit will be installed next week and I know I can contact these folks 24 hrs a day if I have problems.

They really went above and beyond to get my furnace up and running. My house presented some issues that had to worked through. System works great and I would highly recommend All American Heating and AC LLC due to their honesty and integrity.

I liked that the technician was efficient, knew what the problem was right away, and gave me a written estimate right there. I would have used him if my landlord didn’t want to do the work himself.

The company contacted me within a couple of hours of my purchasing the service. They set up an appointment that was very convenient for me and set an exact time rather than a time frame of several hours. Jim, the service man came even a little early for the appointment. He was very professional and spent the necessary time to identify the problem. He gave me an estimate to do the repair that I thought was very reasonable. He was very accommodating in scheduling the work around my schedule, and came a little early again. He installed the new part and checked everything out. Overall this was a very positive experience.

I asked Jim to reschedule our initial appointment because of a work conflict. He agreed to do so and even arrived early for the new appointment to install the humidifier. The install took about 1 1/2 - 2 hours working through some wiring issues with our current HVAC system. The time frame was very close to what he had estimated earlier. I appreciated the time he took explaining what he was going to do and how it all worked. He was also patient in answering my questions. While he was explaining the system to me, he did catch a wiring error he made and fixed it before he left. The service cost a little more than advertised because the current HVAC needed an additional electrical part for the humidifier to function properly. Everything seems to be working well. I will certainly consider Jim for future HVAC work I might need.

Jim Bearden and his wife showed up 2 hours after I called -- same day service within a matter of 2 hours!!! They are awesome! He fixed the water supply line, replaced the filter and adjust everything so my tempermental whole house humidifier works again. And while he was here he adjusted the furnace. Great service, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC response time, very professional -- I would use them again in a heartbeat. The only slight down mark was that he didn't give me a senior discount -- it would have been $6.50 -- really nothing in my book. I am very impressed with the Bearden's and would highly recommend them!!

My experience with All American Heating and AC LLC was great. Jim Beardin was very professional and arrived right on time. He was extremely punctual. My furnace is in a crawl space that I refuse to enter and my furnace is horizontal and not vertical so he had to get a different humidifier. He warned me that it would cost a little bit more but he talked to me about it before he did any installation and I wanted him to go ahead with it. He also had to put the control knob in the house as I wouldn't be able to get to it if it was attached to the furnace. He had to return the following day and again he was here when he said he would be. There wasn't any waiting around which I hate. Jim was clean and very nice and explained everything to me. I would recommend him. my final cost was about $150.00 more because of the difference in installation and a different humidifier. At this time my paperwork is buried because I am working on another project. I would give him A's all the way thru.

I received an email the day I purchased the Angie's List deal and got scheduled for the service call very quickly. Jim was at my house 2 days after purchasing the deal and he fixed the problem very quickly. Prior to getting the deal on Angie's List, I had made an appointment with another heating company and it was going to be a 2 weeks wait as well as $80 to just come out to diagnose the problem. With the Angie's List deal I was able to purchase the diagnosis and get it repaired for far less and much more timely than I had expected. Thank you Jim for being prompt, courteous and reasonable; those are the reasons that I will not only recommend you to friends, but I will also use you again in the future for my heating needs!!

I just bought the deal and within 60 minutes, I got an email from the company coordinating a time. I was very impressed with his responsiveness!
