Description of Work: Smitty's sprinklers was decidedly unprofessional. They messed around a while and then told me what I needed done but not what it would cost or when they could do it. They then said they would get back to me. I waited for two weeks and called. The telephone person said the owner or chief technical would get together with me that night. I waited two days without success and called back, at which time I was told they would get together with me that night. I am still waiting. If this is a sample of your A ratings I will have to get my support from some other agency.

+ -1 moreI got an appointment within a week. The receptionist phoned the day before and gave me an hour time slot and the tech was right on time. He even showed me where the emergency turn off valve was just in case.

+ -1 moreSmitty's booked an appointment for me on short notice which was great. They sent out their top guy; also great. What happened at my house was not great.The appointment was at 1:00 pm.I told the booking agent that the system needed some attention; I had broken heads, leaks and one zone that didn't come on at all.We agreed that 1/2 a day was a good idea to start with. The technician walked around my yard inspecting things and almost immediately told me he didn't have time today to start to fix my system. He told me what an experienced person he was, and told me again that he didn't have time to fix my system, and how he had done me a favor by coming out at all to look it over.My lawn was looking terrible and needed immediate help. The tech lectured me AGAIN,on how busy he was, and how he really would need to come back because my job was so big!We spent an hour or so walking back and forth getting nothing done.The tech promised to come back.He didn't. Another firm did the work in 4 hours!
Description of Work: Smitty's sent a representative to my house for an afternoon appointment to fix my sprinkler system. No actual work was done.

+ -1 moreI called and got friendly service on the phone. Same day response and knew that the job had been done right this time. They requested to enter the home to check the crawl space and gave no comment that all lines could not be found as prior contractor had done.
Description of Work: Re winterize sprinkler system. Found that previous job was done incomplete. This was for a home that was on the market for sale.

Description of Work: I HAD A FAULTY INTEGRAL ANTISIPHON VALVE THAT NEEDED REPLACING. THEY CAME OUT AND QUICKLY REPAIRED THE MALFUNCTIONING VALVE.

HE GIVES ME EXCELLENT ADVISE ON HOW TO MAKE MY SPRINKLER SYSTEM MORE EFFICIENT FOR A BETTER WATERING JOB, BUT NEVER HIGH PRESSURES ME INTO MAKING ANY UNNECESSARY CHANGES TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM.
Description of Work: THEY CAME OUT AND BLEW OUT MY SPRINKLERS WITH AN AIR COMPRESSOR, SET THE CLOCK FOR WINTER AND SHUT OFF THE NECESSARY VALVES TO PREVENT FROZEN PIPES.
