I wasn't sure how extensive the problem was and let Dale know what I thought were the issues. He quickly fixed all the issues and also one I didn't know I needed fixed, but quickly agreed it was essential. He was here within an hour of my call, even made a trip to Lowe's for parts without charging me extra. He replaced a good number of parts and ended up spending a good 4 hours working on the system. He's outstanding, and I would recommend him highly to anyone who has ANY kind of sprinkler issue that needs repair.

I could not be more pleased with the service, professionalism and quality that Dale brought to the job. I called him up at approx. 0900 a.m. and he was at my house within an hour. It was pouring rain but he didn't mind at all and got straight to work. He saw that the main issue with my sprinkler system was a valve or two was shut off or turned down. He then advised me that I needed to raise a few of my sprinkler heads and did one for me to show me how to do it myself - he could have easily charged me an arm and a leg with bogus fixes but he didn't. He also taught me about my grass, advised me on how/when to reseed and even recommended a top notch fertilizer. Total cost was $40! Glad to see that there are still some honest, hardworking Americans out there. I will be using him exclusively for all my irrigation issues.

He had to get rid of some soil to put in a drain system on the side of my house. I liked that he explained things, and designed a drain system whereas other companies made it complicated, he made it simple. He came close to his estimate of the work that he was going to do.

The sprinkler man returned my call and went to my property. He diagnosed the problem and corrected it. I was pleased with his troubleshooting of my sprinkler system. He wasn't familier with my system so incorrectly adjusted the seasonal change to 100% but overall I was pleased with his knowledge, ability to communicate, troubleshoot and repair.

We woke up late to find our sprinkler system would not shut off. I tried to shut it down manually, at the main house shut off and finally had to shut off all water to the house at the street valve. I found Dale Rhodes through Angies list. I called and he was able to come right out, (about one hour and a half later) since we were without water. He quickly diagnosed where the problem was and replaced the valve. A metal washer had gotten loose and jammed the valve in the open position. This was a valve that had recently been replaced by another company. He tested the repair several times to make sure it was working. He said he would return free of charge if there was a continuing problem with that same valve.

Dale quickly found the leak in my irrigation line and repaired it. Despite a few problems along the way with my old system and previous repairs he was able to complete his work from his fully stocked truck. I will call him again. He offers good work for a fair price,

I found this gentleman on Angie's List. Called him and he came to my home and gave me a reasonable estimate. He explained everything he would be doing. He completed the job on time and under budget. Some months later I needed additional services. He made a timely return and completed the requested task quickly and to my satisfaction.

Dale fixed our broken sprinkler pipes, changed over some of our sprinkler to drip and helped us decide on a new timer. He came out a total of 3 times, to help us fine tune our system and only charged us for the 1st visit. He spent over 8 hrs with us all total. He was on time or if he couldn't get here when he said he would he called to let us know.

He responded immediately to a large leak in our sprinkler pipe. He was so great, looked at the entire sprinkler system, and came back another date to repair and "tune-up" the whole yard.

I called Dale and we set an appointment, he came out at the appropriate time. The initial sprinkler leak was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated. Dale worked extremely hard for two hours and repaired the leak in a professional, customer caring way. I would use Dale again and highly recommend him.

Had some concerns about a possible leak near the sprinkler valves so called to set up an appointment. He and his helper came out the same day and took care of the problem during the visit. While he was there I also mentioned some other issues I was having with the overall sprinkler system (who knows what the previous owner was thinking when they installed this system) and he was able to resolve a couple of the problems right then and there. There is a larger issue in the backyard that I'm having him come back a little later in the month to resolve. Overall great experience, would recommend to others.

Dale was great. He responded to my call quickly, and we were able to set up a time that was convenient for me right away. The job before mine ended up getting held up a bit due to some unexpected complications, but he called far in advance and the later time worked better for me, so it was win-win. He was able to diagnose my issue quickly, and fix it quickly. He made some suggestions for improvements to my system, but didn't give me a hard sell. I do have some other work that I'd like done, and we have another appointment for later in September to install some sprinkler heads that will offer better coverage for my lawn. I'm looking forward to working with him again!

I called Dale Rhodes, owner, based on the write-ups on Angie's List. Some of the stations of my sprinkler system had not been working for some time and manual watering was getting pretty old and the landscaping was showing signs of distress. As well, I had a control valve that leaked, causing me to need to turn the water line on/off after each use. During our initial phone call, Dale asked several questions to better understand what all might be going on - I could tell he was troubleshooting in his head as we talked. I also got the feeling that, if he had figured out the problem based on my description and it was a simple do-it-yourself fix, Dale would have told me so and how to fix it. This initial sense of Dale's honesty and professionalism was borne out when he came out to the house and worked on my system. Dale and I set up an appt for about a week out from my initial call (his first available slot). He arrived as scheduled (he actually started earlier than planned after calling on the day of service and confirming that was OK with me) and got right to work. He and his assistant worked for about 2.5 hours - mostly trying to understand and diagnose the wiring problems with my wacky sprinkler system (put in 20+ years ago during the original building frenzy period in my area). He also was able to deconvolute several prior patch jobs due to wiring problems. After sorting out what was going on and the identities of all the various wires (white, orange, blue....and lots of them), Dale proposed a solution to by-pass the original wiring in the area of the yard containing the likely break. Probably not a huge job, but Dale came up with an idea for an even better, easy, and less expensive solution (doubling up a couple of the stations at the timer box). He checked out the water pressure and gave the fix a trial run - eureka - it worked! Dale and his assistant also walked the yard with me, showing me how to adjust the spray of the heads and pointing out other good-to-know elements of the system. Dale also replaced the leaking valve. He also pointed out a control valve that, although functioning as intended, was doing a lot more anti-siphon draining than is typical and offered a solution if and when the drainage got worse or started to annoy me. Throughout all of the work, Dale was great about tolerating my hovering and asking many, many questions. I learned a ton about the system so I can do routine maintenance and also so I know the system layout essentials for repair when another wire breaks (and I'm sure it will). Dale is a great guy who really knows his stuff. And he is so great to work with - patient, pleasant, honest, and really good at what he does. Next time my sprinkler system goes wacko, I'm calling Dale straightaway. Thanks, Dale!
