Excellent experience re drywall. The bid we received included painting the newly dry walled areas. The paint colors were not matched exactly and the workmen were not professional painters. Javier followed through with making sure the problematic areas were corrected. I would definitely use them again for drywall, but not sure if I would have them paint unless I supplied the paint

I was extremely pleased with Javier and his crew at the work they performed at my home in Santa Monica, which was all new construction. Javier was very pleasant to work with and made many additional efforts to work with my contractor through a pretty challenging project. He and his guys performed exactly to our specifications, and once most of the work was completed, they came back several times to make sure each detail was perfect. I received several bids, and WXD's was by far the most reasonable. Our contractor has since used him on other jobs as well. I would highly recommend WXD Drywall.

They were excellent. I spent about $1300 or $1400 on that service. Javier who I think is the owner was excellent and he returned my calls probably within 10 minutes after I left a message. He showed up on time to give me the estimate and the estimate was very competitive compared to other bids that I got. His team was on time and they did a great job. Everything was clean and everybody just worked well together and they were a very professional team. The quality of their work was excellent. I do some drywall and have seen other people’s work and I thought that they were very fast and efficient and I would definitely use them again.

The estimator e-mailed me a detailed estimate. The estimate was for $1500. It seemed like he was a nice guy, but I don’t think I am going to use him. It was very easy. I called him up and explained what I wanted. We agreed on a time and he came on time. He was very pleasant and it was a great experience. His price was higher than the other guys. I wouldn’t be able to comment on the quality of his work since he didn’t do any work. He seemed very professional. I would consider using his services in the future.

The job was done within time, no surpise costs and everything went well. Their work is just splendid - my ceilings are smooth and looks flawless - really good work. The people are very easy to work with and trustworthy.

Javier and his crew did an excellent job. He immediately responded to our phone call and came the next day to give us an estimate. Anton and Oscar worked from 8 till 5 and always did a thorough job of cleaning up at the end of the day. We highly recommend this company.

I called for an estimate and they were out the same day. The estimate was right on, and they were very professional and helpful. I hired another contractor from Angies list, only because the estimate was a bit more detailed.

WXD came to my house to replace drywall after I had a staircase renovated. During the renovation, we found that some of the old walls weren't plumb, and Javier and his team came back and figured out a way to get these walls back to like new condition. After the renovation was complete, I brought them back again to prep the walls for painting, as their level of craftsmanship is far higher than what I would expect from a painter. Their prices are more than fair, and the entire team is professional and respectful. I would use them again in a heartbeat. HIghest recommendation

Javier's crew is extremely professional. They were very careful of our carpets and laid plastic everywhere before staring work on our house. Javier went above and beyond the original scope of the job without charging me extra and went out of his way to make sure the job was done right. They took an extra day to complete the work, but only because his workers coated the walls until they looked good. I would recommend WXD drywall to anyone.

I called Javier in the morning and he was able to meet me that day. He gave me a fair quote. I told him I had a certain time frame and he was able to accomodate it. I was amazed at the conscientious and meticulous prep. They laid drop cloths and plastic in each of the rooms. They did wonderful work and when they departed, everything was immaculate. I cannot recommend Javier enough. He is amazing!

Javier and his team did a great job. Javier emailed us a written estimate and they got started the following week. They sufficiently covered the floors for protection, even through the hallways because it was their access to the bathroom. It took them a longer time than expected because the mud wasn't drying sufficiently and they needed to bring a heavy duty heater in, but they came in on a Saturday to finish up their work and clean up. The work was performed as stated with no suprises and it looks very good. We will probably ask them back to smooth out our living room ceiling next.

Overall, an excellent experience. They showed up as promised. They completed work as promised. They protected other parts of the project as they did their work and thoroughly cleaned up after they were done. The quality of the drywall/stucco is superior. Even the building inspection commented on this.

He even noticed a further spot requiring repair and repaired it without further cost to me.

Javier came for the quote as promised on Tuesday, and had a crew member there promptly at 8am on Friday to do the work. The house was sufficiently protected with plastic laid down and taped at each patch location, as well as to both the front and rear entrances to the house. Drywall installation and mudding went smoothly. The mud had not dried sufficiently to do the final sanding on Friday, so Javier returned Saturday morning to complete the job. I was very pleased with the quality of work, and the fair price. There were three reasons that I didn't give him straight A's: 1) Carlos (Javier's employee) didn't speak english, making it very difficult to communicate. (too many years since high school spanish class) 2) The mud was mixed on our back patio, and although a small amount of plastic was put down to protect the concrete, there was still some splatter that wasn't cleaned up. 3) A large piece of drywall scrap was left in our backyard for us to dispose of. I will be calling Javier today to ask him to pick it up. This is my third job with WXD, and I continue to be satisfied with their work.

I had a wall made of cement block that looked ugly and wanted to put dry wall to cover it Javier came on time and gave me a written estimate. He also faxed me a copy of his insurance. He came on time, was willing to wait an extra day after framing for the electrician to come over before putting the dry wall over the frame. He also patched another hole in the wall for free. Since I wanted a door for the closet under the stairs I emailed him a photo of a home from HOme depot, he went to pick it up and installed it. For the dry wall he recommended green wood for the framing, special dry wall and he installed foam board between the wall and the dry wall. It was $500.00 extra but worth it The original work was $1000.00 . The insulation was $500.00 and the door was $250.00 I gave him the keys of the house and garage door opener so he could come anytime

They did a good job and did exactly what needed to be done. They cleaned the place after they finished the work. They asked for little more money apart from the quote given to me and I refused to give that.
