Sylvia and her crew did an amazing job. My couch looks brand new. They were very professional and punctual. Everything was delivered exactly the way and on the date that was promised.

At the office's request, I sent a photo of the chair. A couple of days later I followed up, and received an estimate based no new parts and a supplemental price if parts needed to be replaced. We arranged for a pick-up from my house, included within the price. I heard the next week that new parts were necessary, and the following week the repaired chair was delivered back to my home. Delivery times were met and any short delays were flagged with a phone call to me.

Silvia came to the house to measure and advise. She brought samples of foam, went over all the options with us, and told us how much material to buy since we were going to go downtown to the fabric mart to buy our own. The work was done beautifully. She delivered the cushions within a reasonable time frame. We realized that one of the cushions was too long, and she offered to come back out to pick them up, but we brought them to her and she did the work in a couple of hours. She and her assistant could not have been more pleasant and professional and the work is beautiful.

Well. Silvia dropped off fabric samples; we then made an appointment for her to look at the furniture. She provided an estimate on site and said they would pick up the furniture in one week. which they did. The also repaired the wooden arm of one of the chairs.

Things went very well. Sylvia knows her business and how to work with customers. She made two trips with samples to help us pick out the right colors. The couch and loveseat were ready when she said they would be. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done.

The couch turned out beautifully. I needed a slipcover for a chenille down couch that could survive 4 grandsons ages 11 and under. We picked a durable gray. They had to lift this couch over a fence to take and deliver it back due to clearance issues. This family owned business was exceptionally gracious. I love my " new" couch. I sew and know the work that was put into this. Hand made bias tape, the perfect fit. Silvia is now doing 2 chairs to match the contrasting pillows she included for the couch. She even did all this while sick with the flu. Great job.

Enter So. Cal. Craftsman. Sylvia Torres returns phone calls and texts right away. She was able to make an estimate after seeing pictures of the damage. We set up a pick up date and her employees took the sofa to their workplace in Van Nuys. A week later it was ready for delivery! They did a beautiful high-quality job! They sofa looks brand new and they used real wood to remake the frame! I can't recommend them enough! A+!

Sylvia and her entire family all appeared involved in some aspect of this job which was completed timely and very professionally. We were very pleased with the work.

Sylvia and her team did a flawless job on a very difficult project. The seats needed to have the leather wrap underneath as flat as possible so the seats would sit flat against the frame, and they did it perfectly, on time and at a resonable price. I highly recommend these folks! Thanks!

Sylvia and Southern California Craftsman did an excellent job. While the turnaround wasn't fast and the work wasn't cheap, the craftsmanship was excellent and the leather was dyed exactly to match the prior leather that covered the seats. I was so pleased with the work that I hired the team to repair a couch as well.

We are very pleased with the work we hire them to do. The refinished and reupholstered chair is stunning, and Silvia did an excellent job in centering the lone bird, in the material, so that it is prominent on the front and back of the chair, but, given that I had stripped a good 90% of the old finish off the chair & I also had the material to upholster it, $630 seemed to be on the high side. The two pillows were made of the leftover material from the chair, and the bird was positioned very well on each pillow. The cost of the two pillows is comparable to decorative pillows in department stores and on-line, but, again, I supplied my own material. The cost for weaving the rush seat on one chair was more than reasonable, and the 2 large valances were not only more than  reasonable, but  were additional work that was added when the chairs were picked up.  In the end I feel the total cost of the work balances out. 
Response time can certainly be improved. I worked in sales and service for over 30 years, so I understand the importance of keeping commitments and returning calls to customers. Even if I did not have an answer for the customer, I still kept my commitment to the customer, and, at least, gave them the status.
The chairs and the material were picked up on time, two days later, just like they said.  I realize now that it was a mistake doing this two weeks before Thanksgiving, which I understand is among their busiest times of the year.  I had not heard from them prior to Thanksgiving, so the following week, I called about the status of  our order, but my calls and email were not responded to, as quickly as I felt a business should. Again, it was during the holiday season, so I will allow some leeway, besides, Silvia's husband graciously installed a drapery rod, I had attempted to install myself. So, I feel I am being somewhat picky regarding their response time, when we we are very pleased  with their work, and are thankful for helping us by installing the drapery rod for us.
We will definitely will be hiring them for future work.

All items were repaired beautifully. Very happy with their work. I thought their prices were high. My only complaint.

Had Sylvia come and take a look at our kitchen bench, which is similar to a rounded off bench at a restaurant.  It is a very old bench that not only needed reupholstering, but also was ill-fitting...just a mess.  Basically, they had to re-make the entire bench in order to make it a worthwhile expenditure.  That is exactly what they did.  They took great care in taking it out of the kitchen (it was bolted onto the floor).  Re-did the entire thing with great care and expertise craftsmanship.  Brought it back yesterday and it looks incredible.  Comfy to sit on, and fits correctly.  I love it.  Already using them again to reupholster couch.

Puppy chewed leather couch on a Wednesday (UGH!).  Went on Angie's list on Saturday and found Silvia. Called her and luck of all luck she was in the area and could come and give me an estimate.  Came promptly when she said she would and gave an estimate.  Picked sofa up on Monday and returned it several days later looking brand new!!!!  Can't recommend her enough!!!!!  Oh and puppy has now chewed the Ottoman and I will be calling her again!

We hired this company to refinish our antique furniture and to reupholster two sofas and dinning chairs they did an amazing job. I highly recommend them.
