Fantastic service. I much a better experience here than I?ve had with other companies, their speediness and honesty was very much appreciated. Other places always try to sell me on auto repairs that I most likely don?t need. They did recommend that I replace my air filters, that?s understandable since I haven?t changed them in awhile. I never got the feeling that I was being taken advantage of. Will use again.

We had a problem with our 2003 PT Cruiser GT stalling and refusing to start randomly and intermittently. We had taken it to several other mechanics, including the Chrysler dealership. The dealership had failed to reproduce the problem after having it in their facility for over a week. Other mechanics had replaced random components of the car, nothing which seemed to improve the problem at all. After carefully describing the issues, I had the car towed to Auto Aid. David Bulko, recognizing that it may be a difficult diagnosis, offered to use the car as his daily driver so he could observe it closely every day, which I agreed to. But Auto Aid found the problem on day 2 through a thorough visual inspection. They discovered that 2 wiring harnesses on the engine had been severly damaged, apparently from rodents chewing on the wiring while it was parked outside. Auto Aid actually DID WHAT THEY PROMISED TO DO in terms of thoroughly inspecting the car. The dealership and previous mechanics promised to do a thorough visual inspection, but they didn't find these problems that Auto Aid identified immediately. Auto Aid then ordered replacement parts from the Manufacturer, which were delivered incorrectly, and required them to go back and forth with the dealership multiple times to get the correctly built replacement wiring harness. They had the car for almost 3 weeks while waiting on the correct parts from the manufacturer, and never complained or asked to charge a storage fee. Once the correct parts were received, they had the car rebuild and running within a day. They also correctly identified a problem with a loose steering rack that neither the dealership or previous mechanics had been able to resolve, and fixed that issue as well. I was very impressed with Per & David's abilities to diagnose complex and intermittent problems - and their intuition for the likely cause was spot on. I wish they were closer to me, so that I could use them for all of our routine maintenance work as well - but I will certainly be returning to Auto Aid to help with difficult diagnosis or any major work in the future. LOVE LOVE LOVE Autoaid! This is now our forever auto care stop! I Had such a wonderful experience I don't think I can even remember all the details. This company definitely went above and beyond for me and my car. I had my car towed in for a flat tire. I knew it was probably time to replace. The team as Autoaid was amazing! I felt so respected and like a valued customer from the moment I went in! I was greeted warmly and seen promptly. I was told I needed four new tires. They were very consciences of my budget and helped me pick the best tires for my car. I told them I would have them installed that day. They are so kind an wonderful!! Because the shop was a little backed up and it would take a few hours to install my new tires they arranged a rental car for me for the day free of charge! I was so impressed. Even after I offered to wait they said they knew how important my time was and wanted to make sure I could get on with my day! I was given a ride to the rental car office down the street and given a car for they day! It was so nice to be able to get my errands done instead of waiting! When my car was ready they promptly called me. I picked up my car with four new tires and new wiper blades and was very happy. They even gave me the Angie's List family discount. On top of that they gave me a $20 gift certificate for my next stop (I joined their rewards program). A couple days after my trip to Autoaid I received a phone call to ensure I was happy with my new tires. I absolutely love Autoaid and will recommend them to anyone I know that needs auto work. This company defines customer service!

Service was prompt and courteous. Discussion of repairs/cost was upfront and direct. I didn't feel any pressure to do extra work on the vehicle, though additional options on more cosmetic issues were offered. The work was done quickly and I was in and out without any hassle. The price seemed fair enough and was in line with what I was expecting. I'm moving out of state and I actually feel some regret that I won't be able to bring my vehicle back here for further maintenance.

I had a concern about the location of the shop because I noticed Bail Bond offices around it when I went to the street level on google maps. However, the explanation for that became obvious when I arrived because it is only 1/2 block from the Van Nuys Courthouse. The "store front" is not impressive but when I drove inside, the service bays were very clean and orderly....very reminiscent of the Lexus dealership where I previously serviced my car. The waiting room was also very neat and pleasant and the restroom was immaculate which is very uncharacteristic of a mechanic's shop. The personnel were most courteous. When the owner left to pick up auto parts, he also accommodated me by bringing my favorite latte from my favorite latte shop since there was not one in the area. That nice touch was way above the call of duty and certainly not a treatment that you'd expect to find in the regular crude and rude auto shops. I do not know if I could have gotten the service for a lesser price at another shop but if so, the first class treatment at Auto Aid more than made up for any minor price differential.

I chose this place bc it was well rated on angieslist. Par is the guy who worked with me. He was very professional and straightforward. He communicated well and was realistic and accurate regarding the timeline. I honestly don't know how well the prices compare. It didn't seem like a great deal, probably about what you would expect from most places.

Arrived for a "unplanned oil change", the staff and owners are are always accommodating. Greeted with cheerful, professional staff. They were able to fit me in to the schedule. Waited for service to be done, waiting room and office very clean and comfortable, such a nice "small town feel" at this establishment. They reminded me it was time to rotate tires, they filled up the fluids in the car and showed me that the wiper blades were deteriorating from the wonderful California sun! Time flew by and was out of there in a very reasonable amount of time. We have been bringing our vehicles here for many years, thankfully they can take care of small visits like our last as well as major repairs, tire replacement (excellent quality at a good price!) We are very happy with service, staff, prices. Highly recommend AutoAid & Rescue.

I've never seen such a clean shop! I wouldn't ewat off the floor, but it was amazing. Dave and his guys did the service, found & fixed some problems with previous work, and rotated the tires. We're taking our cars there from now on.

They were easy to work with. They were the least expensive. Everything was completed on time. Very good experience.

I cannot believe I finally found a mechanic in Los Angeles! I have lived here for almost 5 years with only average mechanic experiences. This is the first vendor I have found on Angie's list and I am pleasantly surprised! The service was prompt and they were extremely honest with what I needed to repair "now" and what can be done at a later date. My air conditioning has been out for years...I could not find a mechanic who could figure out the problem....after auto aid, I FINALLY have a/c. For the many different odds and ends fixed, the price was very reasonable.

Dealer had been unsuccessful in making air contitioning system work though had 2 tries. Auto Aid & Rescue diagnosed problems and needed repairs within a couple of hours, ordered parts right away, and had the car ready for pickup the next day. Per, the service manager, is top flight. The owner even said "good morning" when he walked by. Most importantly, the repairs are keeping the car cool for the first time in months.

They are always kind, professional and things are ready when they say they will be.

Service was performed quickly. Everyone had a smile on their face, and could not have been nicer or more professional! I had a great first time customer coupon which they honored. Saved me $50!!! Thumbs WAY UP!! They have a new customer!

It was our adult son's car but we paid for it. They were pretty straightforward about what they would do and what the price would be. In the end it ended up being very accurate. They called us promptly and they even called for follow-up afterwards a couple of days later. It was all very thorough and appreciated. We had no complaints. We would definitely consider using them again.

Car was not starting battery low not getting fuel traced problem to fuel pump and filter using factory parts and they did it in one afternoon and charged battery

It turned out to be a lot higher than what the original quote would be and they were very apologetic about this and appeared to be honest. I didn't feel like I was being ripped off or anything.

They are really friendly and conscientious. It was a female friendly environment as well. The only hesitation I have is that the original quote was about $300 less than what it ended up being. They had been mistaken about the kind of part that was needed so when they were actually doing the work, they realized it and the price went up. I will use them again. They are very friendly and I believe honest. And I think what happened is the kind of thing that can happen no matter how honest or on top of your game you are. However, if I have a similar experience with the price going up during the work, it will be my last time.
