I went in for an oil and lube, and Auto Aid diagnosed my car, determining that I needed a new battery and wiper. The were able to accomplish both tasks while I waited. I found them professional and efficient, and their work space was clean and well-organized. When I paid my bill, I discovered that they did not subtract the cost of my coupon, but once I pointed it out they corrected the error. They recommended a series of other work for my car (app. $900 worth), but I decided to go with another provider--someone who was nearer to my work place.

The check engine light went on in my car on Christmas Eve and stayed on. My regular mechanic was on vacation so I went to AutoAid. Perr was great. Even though the light went off on my way to AutoAid, Perr checked it out and told me there was nothing wrong and it could just be the gas cap. I was relieved and asked how much and Perr said "nothing". Then Perr backed my car out into street to make it easy for me to leave the garage. From the moment I called them to the moment I left, Perr was nothing but professional and friendly and kind. Even if he had charged me something, I would have been pleased with this place. The fact that he didn't charge me anything is amazing. I would definately recommend this garage (and in fact have already done so to several of my friends).

I have 2001 Nissan Altima. I always keep good maintenance by an auto shop near my formar work in West LA, and I was looking for good mechanics near my house in Valley. I bought a coupon for oil change at Auto Aid through Angie's list last December. Auto Aid (Father and a son own this shop) is great place to bring cars and I will go back this shop for future maintenance of my car. English is second language to me, also I don't know anything about car. David (a son) gave me clear explanation what is going on my car now. Their place was well organized. I waited about one hour for my car at their waiting room which was nice and clean. They changed oil, check up on my care then replace one light bulb ($16) on back of the car. I asked David to list up if my car needs to be repaired or fixed for safety reasons. In the end of the service, he took me to my car, showed and explained each parts why they needs be replaced or fixed in near future. He also gave me a print out of all lists with quotes that I was going to request him. Thank you for the great service. I recommend Auto Aid to my friends. Misa

We have been taking our cars to Auto Aid for regular oil changes and maintenance for nearly 10 years. It is a family-owned and operated business with personable service. The staff is friendly, professional and trustworthy. They do their best to have my car in and out as soon as possible, or will tell me if it's going to take long so I can arrange for a ride. I trust that when they say the car needs a new air filter, it actually does, unlike some chains that are notorious for pushing unnecessary parts and services. They are also very thorough and will give me an itemized list of everything they recommend needs to be done, noting whether it is needed right away or if it can wait. I never feel pushed or rushed to have work done. I originally found them on Yelp many years ago when my family and I moved to the area. The reviews were outstanding then and I am happy to say that AutoAid has lived up to their reputation as being a trustworthy, fair-priced auto shop that is female-friendly.

Triple A towed my vehicle which couldn't be driven because it was overheating and leaking and charged me no fee for the tow. All work performed in one day, but my bank, Universal City Studios Credit Union took 72 hours and the weekend to review my application for a credit limit increase and then refused it. Auto Aid and Rescue had a finance program which approved my application and I paid Auto Aid and got my vehicle back.

AutoAid & Rescue was very professional and honest. They didn't try to sell me anything and I trusted their inspection. After having Pep Boys on Balboa do a botched break job a year back I have been very cautious about bringing my jeep to a mechanic. AutoAid & Rescue was extremely informative and polite - they didn't talk down to me because I'm a woman or assume I don't understand anything about auto mechanics. It is so important to me to be able to trust who I take my car to and AutoAid & Rescue has my complete vote of confidence!

Great. Work was done on time and on budget. The car was cleaned, and presented perfectly. Excellent attitude from all the people I interacted with.

The air conditiong in my car is working well now. Everything was top drawer in my interactions with them. Even though it was a lot of money it was something I had to get done. I selected them because they are highly rated on both Angie's List and AAA. The project took about 3 days to get done.

Most of the repairs were minor repairs; there was just a long list of minor things that needed attention. They changed one gasket that I would consider to be more than a minor repair. They promptly made the repairs. The car was ready as promised. And now the car is running smoothly. AutoAid provided a shuttle service for our son at no additional charge. The staff was courteous, thorough, and very cooperative. They were very agreeable to work with us on the east coast even though they are on the west coast with the car. It is very nice to know that my son now has a business he can rely on when the car needs attention. I highly recommend AutoAid.

I went in to get my drive belts replaced. On the way over they actually happened to rip in half, forcing me to get a tow the auto shop. Upon arrival I was struck by how clean and professional the garage was. The staff was equally professional as well as being very courteous. They estimated that it would take approximately 30-45 minutes to change the belts when I made my appointment on Monday. I also asked for the complementary (for AAA members) general checkup, which added about half an hour to that time. During the checkup they noticed that my brakes were quite worn down, I needed a new air filter, and that my oil was desperately in need of changing. They informed me that the brakes would either have to be replaced or resurfaced, depending on just how worn they were. It turned out that they could just be resurfaced, saving me $130. All in all, an excellent experience and certainly the best I have ever had dealing with mechanics/garages.

It went well. I enjoyed the experience and the truck runs great now.

This will be my ONLY garage from now on! The garage is indoors and is very clean. Very friendly and professional. affordable. Suggested that =I wait for a brake job. I was convinced I needed new brake pads and they told me I should just have them looked at again in 3000 miles at my next oil change. They shuttled my to and from my house at the beginning and end of the service. I highly recommend these guys.

Great! Fixed for less than the dealer quoted and told me there was no need to replace battery at this time or remove transfer case as dealer wanted. Explained that the little bit of dripping from transfer case was NOT dangerous, and NOT leaking enough to replace at this time. Focused, efficient, friendly and professional office and repair staff inspired much needed trust and confidence on my behalf. Will definitely take my car back to them after years of relying on the local dealer. Happy to refer to anyone else.

It's also a mechanical shop and is not just for tires. They were all around just great. They gave me really thorough feedback and also offered to prepare a full report but I just chose to take the synopsis instead. They took a lot of time examining the car to find out what was needed in repairs and to make a recommendation. The recommendation was that though they loved the work, they thought it was too costly for the value of the car.

It turned out great. I have been back to them for another oil change and service since then. What I thought was going to be very expensive to fix turned out to be reasonable. They are prompt, just amazing.

They recommended that I buy some new tires for my car before they did any work. Their responsiveness to the customer stood out to me.

I've had the guys at Auto Aid do service as well as repairs on my 98 Accord. They are fantastic! They don't do repairs unless it's needed and I trust their judgment. They are extremely obliging and very female friendly -- comfortable seating area, picked me up so I could bring the kids in their car seats. And their prices are competitive. It's a pleasure to work with David, Jack and everyone there.
