our car is an a 1997 audi A8, and absolute nitemare to repair but great to drive when it works so we have foolishly kept it. david took on the task, it turned out to be much more invovled and took longer than any of us anticipated but he did great work and gave us a fair price, including paying for part of our rental car. his shop is spotless and he is the ultimate professional. nice to find a car repair that is professional, competent and trustworthy.

We usually bring my wife's Honda to the dealer, but we kept getting high estimates and so we found Auto Aid through Angie's List. The guys at Auto Aid gave us a lower estimate than the Honda dealer for the work we were considering getting done, plus we found them to be very confident, knowledgeable, and professional. They gave us an oil change, and inspected the brakes, suspension, and other engine parts, and their diagnosis came out to be very similar to Honda's, but their cost quote was much lower. We never actually used them to service the brakes and suspension because we haven't serviced the car yet, but we are highly considering going back to them when the time comes. On a side note, Auto Aid is a father/son team, and their shop is very clean and everyone on staff is very friendly and seemingly honest.

More was needed to be done than I expected but they showed me exactly what the problems were. Work was done in a timely manner.

my 6 year old mitsubishi needed a 100k make over. we took it to autoaid based on the angies list reviews. they were on top of everything and got the job done. i cant comment on the pricing, we did not really shop around to see how much it would cost to get everything we needed fixed.

I phoned them yesterday to check if they could handle a steering play problem on a vehicle of this age and size. David said that they'd have time to do it in the morning, and that it might or might not need a new gear box. They got started on it right when I got there, and amazingly they were able to get a rebuilt gear box within an hour of the decision to replace it. Ford makes loads of the F-150's, but fewer and fewer of the heavier duty higher model numbers, so I'm accustomed to parts being hard to get, especially on a 25 year old 350. I get the feeling that most of the employees have been there a long time, and it's generally a happy place to work. They're certainly thorough and careful. I saw one of them torquing lug nuts in the proper diagonal pattern rather than the quick once-around. The guy working on my truck added just a teeny tad more fluid to the power steering to get it exactly right. They know what they're doing, and they care about doing it right. Oh, and the truck is a lot more comfortable to drive now that the steering isn't loose. The actual shop has a kind of New York/Chicago feel to it. Instead of being mostly outdoors, their building covers the entire lot, and you drive in through one single-lane door. This will be especially nice when it rains.

They were fine. I was perfectly happy with them. I had found them on Al earlier. My son has been using them and I just went to them for the first time. I didn?t have an appointment. He asked me when I needed the car back and I told him the next day and it was.

It went well. I was there longer than projected. They almost forgot to do my wheel alignment. They did apologize. Also, it was nice that they washed my dirty car.

The son of the owner helped me from start to finish. He was quite professional and friendly. I *love* how nicely decorated and clean the bathroom is. This attention to detail says a lot. I thought the price for the sensor work was a little high, but I don't do this kind of work often on my car. It seems like a great place to get your car serviced.

Jack (co-owner, with son David) welcomed me as a new customer. The waiting area was kept clean and bright. Jack accepted a new customer coupon, even though it had recently expired. He answered some questions I had about servicing older cars and about ordering parts. I came in without an appointment, but work was still completed in a timely manner. Jack called to review needed repairs, again to give me a status report at the end of the day, and then once more when work was completed. The final cost was in line with the estimate. The work quality was fine, they are customer-oriented, they back their work with guarantees, and I will be returning to them.

I paid around $300-$400. I think they are really good, except that they don?t call me back when they tell me they would. I will use them again in the future.

Thing went well. David was very nice to work with. The guys over at AutoAid were able to figure out what was causing the noise and that was no easy task. They were great sleuths. The problem was fixed and there hasn't been a squeak since then. The engine light was the expensive fix. That too, they took car of easily and efficiently. Overall I was very satisfied.

It was my first time there. I was very impressed. This was the only auto mechanic station that was real clean.It had fresh apples, hot tee and coffee. A TV with all channels, even CNN. They kept checking on me if I needed something while I was waiting. I felt like in my own den.Best garage I ever have been to. From now on this will be the only Auto Garage I will go to. I felt right away the honesty and did not have to worry to be ripped off, like in most places as a women. They actually showed me where the problem was.Thank you for your referral. Ro K.

They are very clean, courteous, nice and professional. I went in with a problem that is still unresolved. I would probably look else where before using them again.

When I took my van in I wasn't sure what the problem was. The front wheels were grinding when I made turns. They did a test drive and determined it to be the front rack and pinion which was leaking fluid. They needed to order the part and since I used a power wheelchair and could not get home they were willing to drive me and pick me up again after the work was completed. I felt the owner and his son to be responsible people who wanted to solved auto problems and keep their customers satisfied but mostly keep their autos in top working condition to avoid future breakdowns. I was in good hands. It is difficult for a woman who is not trained in auto mechanics to trust auto repair places but I felt that the problem got solved competently, efficiently and nobody likes to put out lots of money for these things but I suspect the price was fair too. These guys were personable and concerned about me as a human being which is hard to find in LA. Bravo guys!

This is the first time I've used a referral from Angie's List and the reason I became a member was so I could finally find a reliable and trustworthy repair shop for the 5 cars in our family. So instead of using the convenient repair shop around the corner, like I usually do, I got on the freeway and drove from Northridge to Van Nuys hoping it would pay off. It did. I knew this car was going to need extensive repairs from the way it was performing and the noises it was making. David explained everything he was going to do and why. While the car was up on the lift he showed my husband and me how badly things had deteriorated. He told us which repairs we should make now and what we could wait on (we decided to get it all done now). He even gave us a $275 discount and I don't remember all the details, but it was because he fixed one thing and he thought that would take care of a noise the car was making, when the noise continued, he uncovered another problem which he fixed and the noise stopped. He also gave me $50 off for being a new customer and member of Angie's List, plus a $25 gas card and a $25 coupon towards my next car repair. Now my car is running quietly and smoothly. I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Autoaid & Rescue and currently have car #2 in for repairs.

Their work was fine but their price was a little higher than I expected.

I went to AutoAid because of the reviews here on Angie's List; the reviews were accurate!! David and his crew were very professional and informative, the place was very clean, and the quality of my auto repair work was excellent. This was my first time taking my car to AutoAid. I tried them because the brake jobs I had gotten in the past always left my brakes squeaking; not this time! Not only that, I was not charged for the tire rotation (which could have been at least $20). Overall, I was very happy with my experience at AutoAid. Thanks David and AutoAid for a job well done!

I've been to many repair shops in my time, but never one that was as concerned about their customers needs as Auto Aid. They are clean, courteous and stand behind their work 100%. If you're looking for quality service & repair, this is the shop for you.

My son was pleased. He brought the car to them, they assessed what needed to be done and performed the service. They also did a full safety check and gave him printouts of work that they suggested, with pricing. He went back already, in October and had an oil leak done, at a cost of about $350. He plans to go back again, and I plan to use them the next time I have service on my car. They were very nice, and they called back a week or two later to check on his satisfaction both times.

They didn't push and were courteous, friendly, and responsive. Hard to judge a gararge based on one time, unless you're an auto expert or mechanic. I'll use them again and only time will tell whether or not they prove trustworthy.

They finished the work promptly and delivered a clean car to boot! I had gone to another Angie's List provider and their quote was double of that from Auto Aid, the only difference being the rear rotors would have been new. I was extremely pleased with the work and it was nice to have the Angie's List coupon to help. They also gave me a 10% discount on the labor due to the expense of my job. They were courteous and thoughtful, they are very respectful of women which is a real plus with the problems I have had in the past with workers going on about Hey Lady! I would highly recommend Auto Aid.

I have been satisfied with all service on my 1992 Cutless Sierra Station Wagon for over 16 years. AutoAid & rescue has been a fair and reliable mechanic shop and efficient. This is a combination that is hard to beat. My sta.wag. will soon be a working classic.

I was very pleased with the service and professionalism of this shop. As a single woman, who knows NOTHING about cars, I found them to be very thorough in their explanations of repairs, and the quality and guarantee that comes with all the work is just that much more reassuring.
