Juan was great and very knowledgeable. We contacted Juan for an estimate to repair parts of a recently installed whole house vinyl floor (planks). Juan responded immediately our contact via Angie's List. Juan was at our home within 24 hours as promised. Juan reviewed our needs and inspected the floor. He provided 2 estimates which were VERY competitive and included material. Unfortunately we were unable to hire Juan because of some money constraints on our end. But Juan's communication and experience with flooring was a definite eyeopener. I would hire Juan with confidence and without hesitation. He will definitely have my business in the future!

The installers were on time, and they did a great job with disassembling the laminate flooring and replacing the damaged boards. They were very good about cleaning up after themselves, and I would definitely refer their services to anyone in need.

Juan and his crew were amazing from start to finish. I originally had them come out to instal hardwood floor but also needed a shower that had been demoed already tiled, Juan and his crew got that done as well. When we had a couple of minor details that needed attention after the job was complete Juan had his guys come back without question and take care of it. I am very particular and I would highly recommend and use Juan again without question.

Always Improve Flooring has done four jobs for me since 2015: 1. Installing new oak flooring in my kitchen and office and refinishing the rest of the oak flooring on the first floor of my house; 2. Refinishing wood flooring in two of my rental units; and 3. Leveling the floor of my garage and then installing new oak flooring as I was converting the garage into an ADU. Their workmanship was excellent. I am very happy with their work. Juan Hernandez, the owner, is very responsive. I found his pricing to be reasonable and he stuck with the quoted price. Excellent Job! Fast, efficient and affordable!

Juan’s assistants arrived on-time and began the prep work. Juan arrived shortly afterwards and the job went smoothly. We asked Juan to refinish about 90 square feet of hard wood landings to match the stair treads and install matching baseboard. He recommended one of two different stains to match the landings to the stairs most closely. Juan got the tint exactly right. Among the things I really liked about Juan and his company was that he speaks very good English, so that there was no confusion. He did the work at the time and date he promised. He charged a fair price. And Juan takes pride in his work. I would only hire Juan if we ever need work done again on our wood floors.

Juan and his team are great. We only wanted to spruce up an older floor, a relatively small job. They were on time and did a great job. I needed an extra bit done, but they came back and took care of it all! We will have them do our other floors soon.

I didn't want to empty all the furniture out of the rooms, so I asked Juan (the owner) if he could make the floors that were showing look like new. He said yes and that's what he did. He showed up on time, worked through the day and transformed my floors at a fair price. I am very pleased.

His crew was fast and efficient and were concerned about our house and furnishings. They were great to cover everything and cleaned up after. The floors are restored to beautiful condition. They had many years of renters' wear and tear. They even were able to refinish a section of flooring in the kitchen that the other contractors told me need to be replaced. And now, the best part: the price was very inexpensive compared to the other (outrageous) quotes I received. Juan's price was right on target for what I had expected. The other quotes I got were out of this world (3x as much). I will definitely be recommending Always Improve Flooring and would not hesitate to call them again.
