This is a copy of the letter I sent them: I recently hired your firm to prepare architectural drawings of my property and project located at (redacted) Burbank CA. You sent a young man by the name of Scott Hale who took some measurements and then sent me a set of drawings. These drawings had errors and omissions in them I need corrected. Specifically, these issues are: 1 No measurements of the property were taken back of the patio 2 No utility locations were noted on the drawings 3 Trees were randomly and inaccurately located on the property 4 There are errors in the location and sizes of structures on the lot 5 There were no measurements taken inside the house. While I did at first tell Scott that this was ok, it comes to my attention now that since the project includes window replacements I will need the interior dimensions plotted so as to calculate natural light and ventilation requirements for the interior rooms. I notified you by telephone of this on Thursday August 25 2011. You advised me to send the corrections to Scott, which I did. I received nothing back from Scott to indicate that he had received them. I contacted your office on Monday August 29 to determine whether Scott had received the information. I was informed at that time that Scott had left the state and that evidently none of your staff had any idea he was planning to leave. I then asked who was going to handle my work and when I could expect to receive the corrected drawings back. The person I talked to had no idea where Scott?s work was and ?would get back to me?. Hearing nothing back I contacted your office again on Tuesday August 30 and again explained the situation. I was told again that you would get back to me on this. Again there was no call back so I contacted your office a third time on Friday September 2. Again I was told that they did not have any information on this issue and that you would have to (once again) get back to me on it. I expressed the opinion that obviously you had no interest in my job and therefore I asked for a refund of the $375 I had paid you and that I would take my business elsewhere. Again I was told that you?d have to get back to me on it. This letter is to document these issues and conditions, and to make a written demand that the monies I paid you be refunded on the basis that you did an incomplete job and show no interest in completing and/or correcting said work. I will expect that the funds paid will be immediately credited back to the credit card I gave you. I have received no response from the company.
Description of Work: Mr Roberts firm was hired to provide architectual drawings for a room addition. Update - i did receive a refund check.
