Description of Work: I smelled an unpleasant odor in part of the house. Upon opening the trap door to the crawl space, I saw that there was water, and smelled a mix of sewage and mold. A friend who owns a stone care business told me of Puroclean in the past. I quickly scanned Angie's List and found that Puroclean was a local water remediation company with good reviews. The Puroclean technician crew conducted a thorough examination under the house, identified the source of the leak, and explained the clean-up process. My insurance adjuster met with the Puroclean technicians during their evaluation of the damage and cause, and was able to establish a direct billing arrangement, leaving only the deductible for me to deal with. Work began immediately to remove the water and dry the soil. They installed a contamination barrier around the area of the crawl space, brought in several blowers and dehumidifiers, and spent many hours under the house churning the dirt to speed drying time. They also removed many plastic sheets and tarps left behind by previous contractors over the years. Once dry, the team scrubbed the under structure of the house to remove mold, and then sprayed all surfaces and crevices. An independent mold tester (hygienist) was hired to take samples. Unhappy with the sample readings, the team went right back down, re-scrubbed, sanded, and sprayed. Another sample by the independent tester indicated the air was mold free. The Puroclean team then cleaned the area inside the containment, removed the containment, and and took all debris with them. Very clean!! The total duration of the effort was approx 3 weeks. Most of the time, it was just the blowers and dehumidifiers running. I do not know the total cost of the remediation, as they billed my insurance directly. I do know that it greatly exceeded the $2500 deductible that was my responsibility.

Saved me a lot of time and money. I highly recommend this company based on the honesty and time taken to save me money and time.

Description of Work: Home inspection for mold.

Description of Work: Accelerated the drying process of the flooded crawl space under my house and treated the area to kill and prevent any mold growth.

Description of Work: Wall wetness / dampness assessed, floors removed (debris removed from house), fans and dehumidifiers installed and operated, and anti-bacterial/fungal solution sprayed on walls.

Description of Work: They dried out a hole in the ceiling and cleaned it up after leaking water damage.

Description of Work: A pipe connected to our water heater in our basement burst and was leaking for some time, and steam from the hot water created a mess in the basement and damaged the hardwood floors above it. Puroclean came in, assessed the damage, cleaned up, removed some damaged materials, set up heaters and fans to dry out the floors and showed up for almost every day for a week until the floors were completely dry.
