Description of Work: They installed a mini-slit air conditioning unit over a three day period. Their services were excellent. This includes the quality of work done by Luis an Edwin and the oversight provided by Paul. They even took care of removal of a large number of stored items in our attic. Paul spend at least two hours after the work was done (and approved by the City of L.A). going over the technical aspects of the system and any questions we had. We even signed on with a service contract at a reasonable price. In the office both Michelle and Joanne helped out with some of the administrative details necessary for good decision-making on our part.

Description of Work: Paul came to give me an estimate on the repair of a 30 year old furnace that had been out of service for almost a year. Another repair guy had already told me the fan was gone and only a new furnace (@$3-5,000) would do. Paul considered that possibility but on a hunch changed out a capacitor and the fan came back to life. The furnace works again though it will have to be replaced soon. Paul was courteous, prompt, very bright and fair. Michelle and Connie in the P&M office were courteous and attentive as well and I would use P&M again for anything they feel qualified to service.

Description of Work: Extremely professional and honest. My heater broke over the holidays and they did everything posible to schedule the service with in a few days of my call. Jose was very knowledgeble and patient. I asked a lot of questions. I will recommend them to my friends and family in a heart beat!

I made the decision to use P&M because they were the only company I spoke with who won't do the work without a permit. WOW! I found over time that they are very, very professional. They are constantly checking assumption, helping to set your expectations, making sure that their staff does the best job possible.

 + -1 moreEstimator was courteous and friendly. Showed up on time and did not try to add unwanted or unneeded extras as did some other contractors. Job was started and finished on time in spite of unanticipated bureaucratic hiccup. Installers were courteous and made sure everything was cleaned up at end of each day s work. Contractor estimator/supervisor returned after installation was finished, checked and ok d by city inspector to make sure everything was exactly as it should have been. To date (3 weeks later) the system is working perfectly. All in all a delightful experience.
Description of Work: Installed A/C in an "A/C ready" home. Included compressor, coil in furnace box, and all necessary peripheral ducting and drains.

 + -1 moreThe furnace motor was overheating in a 30-year old furnace which was undersized for driving the air conditioner that had been added by the previous owner of the condo. I was given the option of replacing the motor or the whole furnace and I chose the latter. The work was performed quickly, efficiently, and the work area was very clean. The owner came to check on all of the work that had been performed by his team, and he was very helpful in guiding me through the permitting process.
