Bill was very personable and professional. He was here on time and gave me two estimates (one for repair only one for replacement), both of which were competitive. I chose replacement. He was done within an hour. Work was excellent. I would recommend him to anyone for their plumbing needs.

I had a reroute done for a slab leak and when they first came out they estimated that it would be somewhere between $2000-$3000. When they came out the next time to do the repair, it turned out to be a shorter reroute than they anticipated and charged $1800. In and out in a few hours and the leak was found and fixed. Now I need to address the floor that they took up and the holes in the wall but that's for another company to handle.

We have had Guardian plumbing come to our house for service calls on two prior occasions before this most recent time. I was satisfied with them on those calls, both with regard to the work they did and the price they charged. But their most recent visit was shocking, in terms of what they charged. The work we wanted done was installing a new faucet and drain assembly that we had already purchased in one bathroom sink, and clearing a clogged drain in another bathroom sink. After we showed the plumber, Anthony R, what we wanted, he said he would go back to his truck to prepare an estimate and come back with the estimate. So he went to his truck. After 15 minutes he came back and gave us a verbal estimate of nearly $400!! This was just for labor since we had already purchased the new faucet/drain ourselves. I made a quick decision, one that I now regret, and told him to go ahead and do the work. Both projects combined took him a little less than an hour to complete, including reworking the sink drain assembly that we pointed out was difficult to operate after he said he was finished with it. Plus the clogged drain did not require snaking, just flushing out the drain pipe under the sink. And for a little less than an hour he wanted nearly $400! He gave me a senior discount, only because I asked for it, and reduced the bill to $346. That is an absurd price to pay for less than an hours work. By comparison, 16 months ago a different plumber from Guardian came to our house to install a kitchen sink faucet. That faucet did not include a drain but was a more elaborate faucet than the one Anthony installed in our bathroom. When that other plumber came into our house, we showed him the new faucet we had already bought and the kitchen sink where we wanted it to replace the old faucet. He took a quick look at the faucet and the sink, and told us immediately that the cost would be $85 (without a senior discount which at the time I didn't know I could ask for). He did not go back to his truck to prepare the estimate. And he did not take 15 minutes doing who knows what to come up with that price. The amount of time this plumber took to install the kitchen faucet was a little less than the time Anthony took to do the work he did a few days ago, but not by that much. To give another comparison to Guardian's current outlandish pricing, before Anthony did the work, I asked him how much he would charge to install just the faucet and drain on one sink. He said it would cost $289. That's compared to $85 sixteen months ago for a kitchen faucet installation. I really wonder about the 15 minutes Anthony took to prepare his estimate. Guardian Plumbing has gone paperless, and Anthony used a computer tablet to prepare his estimate. But why did it take 15 minutes? Did he not know how to use the tablet? Did he communicate with other Guardian employees to determine how much they thought they could charge us? Neither one of those possibilities gave us a warm feeling that

Nice technicians, knowledgeable, fast, organized, tidy, & punctual. The pricing was a little on the high-side but I don't mind too much as the hardware installed (angle-stops with quarter-turn brass valves) will save me a lot of trouble for future projects such as replacing sinks and fixtures. I will definitely consider using them for future plumbing projects and recommend their services to my neighbors.

Called immediately upon my submission of request on Home Advisor to set up free quote for regular maintenance of tankless water heater. Had lots of options for time, even a guaranteed one hour slot. Effective text validation of appointment. Arrived on time. Very polite and knowledgeable. Did not try to up-sell! Definitely will use them again!

The technician arrived on time, did some diagnostic work including running a camera through my pipes and didn't find a blockage. I wasn't charged for the service. If the problem happens again I will definitely give them a call.
