Description of Work: Dan Tyson is wonderful. He worked wonders with my limited budget to help create a peaceful landscape right from kitchen window. He even drove by the house to make sure all the plants are doing well. One is struggling a bit and he may have to replace it. A lovely, kind, and generous man. Please feel confident about using him for your landscaping needs. You will not be sorry.

Description of Work: I was so pleased with the water-wise landscaping this company installed in my front yard that I hired them to design and install walks, patios, and new gardens in my back yard. Dan is very artistic--he likes to adapt the design as he sees it being put into practice. He is willing to keep old trees and shrubs that are in good shape. He is very responsive to requests from the homeowner. His crew is very hardworking. The results are gorgeous. This is saying a lot from one who is very picky about landscape design--so much of it is very ordinary--and who used to design and redesign the landscaping of a large property in our previous home.

Description of Work: Removed concrete walkway and planter and grass. Replaced with lovely low maintenance plants with drip irrigation. Trimmed a couple fruit trees in the backyard. Fixed cap stones on remaining planter.

Description of Work: Removed lawns & replaced with drought tolerant ground cover & plants.

Description of Work: Made an appointment to give us a drawing but never showed up. We were preparing to sale and move so keeping the appointment while we were in town was crucial.

Description of Work: Dan (owner) is a superb professional who takes great pride in providing the best landscaping work and advice. | |His crew removed a huge, dead jasmine vine growing on an arbor in my yard. A new arbor was installed and new jasmine vines were planted. My new arbor and vines are beautiful.

Description of Work: Removed most of the trees, bushes, plants, and grass from the front yard. Replaced it with new growth and artificial turf; installed drip irrigation. Also replaced the brick-work on both sides of the driveway. While it is not yet complete, so far everything has gone according to plan.

Description of Work: Removed existing front lawn. Installed sidewalk, steps, and retaining walls to terrace existing front slope. Removed two (old) birch trees and planted a sycamore. Installed various low water required plants. Installed various walls on narrow area between driveway and property line. Planted extraordinarily beautiful roses and some other plants. Installed drip system watering system throughout. Also installed drip system in existing back landscaping (already have artificial turf there). |Work went very well and I have had numerous compliments on the finished job.

Description of Work: Designed and installed drought tolerant plants and hardscape in both the front and back yards. The timeline was longer than first anticipated but the quality of the work done was excellent and worth the extra time. They stand by their work and were flexible with changes during the process. My only recommendation would be to get the job foreman to provide a breakdown of what exactly was included in each payment. Doing this would have saved some confusion at the end.

Description of Work: Replaced 2/3 of lawn with low maintenance, drought tolerant plants. Installed new drip irrigation on all new plants and replaced older sprinkler heads along with new master control unit. Dan, Cesar and team were very professional, clean and courteous throughout the whole process. We are extremely happy with the outcome and our new front yard which is loaded with lots of interesting, colorful plants. Will definitely hire them again. Thanks!

Description of Work: My front yard was ugly and boring with all the wrong plants. Dan was creative in his design and able to save two plants I had a strong emotional attachment to. Job included concrete work and full yard sprinklers. He replaced some plants who had surrendered to our incredible heat wave this summer and was always professional and timely. Description of Work: Not professional, very poor follow through. Returned call three day later, then complained job wasn't big enough. Said they send someone out, but never did.

Description of Work: Sculptured Gardens Alive is in the process of redoing our backyard hard scape and soft scape.

Description of Work: He and one of his employees checked thoroughly my backyard sprinklers and drip systems to be sure everything is working properly. Until today, many were not functioning right and plants were not doing well.

Description of Work: Sculptured Gardens Alive redirected the sprinkler heads so they did not water the new synthetic putting green. A new automatic sprinkler control box was installed. They mulched and planted new plants in the backyard around the green and the pool. They layed wire for the accent lights.

Description of Work: "Freshened up" the yard. Removed some dead or overgrown plants & replaced with new plants. Found leaks & broken parts of sprinkler system and replaced.

Description of Work: They have done extensive landscaping and rock/stone work. They put in outdoor deck and an irrigation system.
