Two years after having my home totally remodeled, my 600 square-foot back bedroom was showing terrible signs of wear and curling in the laminate flooring that had been installed. It was bothering me quite a lot, but I just didn’t have the ability to just hire in and have more flooring put down. I am legally blind so buying the stuff and putting it in myself is not an option. I started to investigate options. A few weeks ago, I heard from Igor & that he & a partner; Foster had started up their own company: Ecostar remodeling & construction. He came by the house to see what wanted and I said “Well, come here and look at this...” and I showed him my room. As he is in the business of home repair and remodel, I thought he’d like to see what I had. He was very dismayed to see the way the floor did not survive all of my dogs and activity. It was buckling in some areas curling up at edges and looked like it was fit in either too tight or just not well at all. If one has several dogs and there is going to be liquid on the floor because of them or just general spills and other things, one might want to consider high-quality plank vinyl flooring instead of Laminate. He made me a more than reasonable offer on getting better quality plank vinyl flooring put into my room. His colleague Moti helped arrange to have the floor samples brought to me and keeping it with in the same realm of the coloring in the rest of the house. With a few details worked out, I had Ecostar booked to come in and put flooring in my back bedroom. I thought they would have to order it and I would have a week or two to wait, but I chose my sample on Friday and the following Monday I got a date of start up which was Tuesday, April 10. They came and removed all the old laminate saving me maybe a box and a half of reusable planks for the rest of the house, if needed, and they installed vinyl plank flooring with a different underlayment, new baseboards and everything! To help with time expediency, now that I knew this was going to happen, I moved a lot of my lightweight things out of the room but Igal told me not to hurt myself and that his boys would move the heavy things. That’s totally cool, I let them. LOL! The 2-man team he sent did not mess around! They came right to my house, unloaded got things set up at about 10 o’clock in the morning. They worked solidly and one would go and pick up their lunch while the other guy stayed to finish detailing work. I would go into check up on the work taking pictures and videos, and noticed that they cleaned up as they went along. They would take out the old materials, sweep and vacuum up and then they started the underlayment and the rest for the new floors. The installation was rapid fire and done properly. Cutting was carefully done and meticulous. They left my house at about 4:15 PM after helping me move some heavy things back in place and they took all of their things. You would not know they had been here at all, except for the beautiful new flooring in my room! I highly recommend Ecostar remodeling and construction for any of your jobs, large or small. This company is very “can-do!“ And are very hands-on with follow up to the customers. I admire this gentleman and his team for the decent, high-quality work that was done on my floors, And would have no hesitation at all to call them back out for any further needs.
