CHEM-DRY ACTION QUICK

We needed Eric to come and clean our new house during the week before Thanksgiving, which he told us is his busiest week of the year. He squeezed us in on a Sunday so that he could get the job done before we moved in, he brought his assistant, and the 2 of them did an amazing job. The carpeting looked like new. He did not try to upsell us on stain removers that he didn't think would work. The price was very fair for such a large space,and he really took his time to make it look good. Communication with him was smooth and easy (he gave us his direct cell phone number, but we could also reach him through his helpful receptionist, June). We plan to use him again and would be very comfortable recommending him to others.

This was a very professional, yet personable, job from the first phone call until the last contact. We were able to schedule carpet cleaning for a loft apartment downstairs carpet in a very reasonable time period. June, the contact person, was extremely nice during the scheduling, her follow-up call to confirm the day before, and the call that the technicians were on their way. Eric (the owner) and Tony arrived right on time, set up their equipment outside the door after carrying it up a flight of stairs, went right to work, and within an hour and a half had accomplished their task--a very clean carpet, miraculous to what it had been! Eric made sure that I was pleased with the job and even left a free can of spot remover and insisted we call them back if any problems appeared later. We will definitely use Chem-Dry again and highly recommend their service. The carpet did dry quickly compared to other carpet cleaning services I have used, yet it is environmentally safe for humans and pets.

Owner arrived on time. He gave me a detailed estimate. I liked the fact that he didn't try to up sell me. He was very friendly and we chatted most of the time he was doing the cleaning. When finished, he asked me if I thought the job was satisfactory. I told him it was excellent. He gave me a free bottle of cleaner also. I give him 5 stars and have recommended him. The people who did the work were very nice. They didn't do a very good job the first time so I called and they came back and redid the it. It was better the second time but it still wasn't up to par in my opinion.

Wow! They did such a great job. The house is a rental and the carpets were a mess. The owner, Eric, was diligent in cleaning the carpets. He takes his job seriously and cares about the end product. He and his assistant were able to get out all of the spots. There was oil, grease, ashes, you name it, it was there. The carpets are beautiful. They look great! I would recommend Chem-Dry Action Quick to anyone. Eric was very professional and I appreciate that.

By far, our experiences wtih Chem Dry have been the best of any company we've hired through Angie's List. These are the real professionals. Every time they have been in our home they have been courteous and efficient. They KNOW their stuff--they are both smart and practical in their approach to the work. And most importantly, they know how to walk the fine line of being friendly and informative without going overboard. So many time we have had contractors in our home who want to talk your ear off, act like they're your best friend. This is annoying and uncomfortable, especially because it's happening IN YOUR OWN HOME. But not Chem Dry. Eric strikes just the right balance. The work is top-notch, the prices are fair and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience. FIrst-rate.

We are moving into our new house and needed all of the carpeted areas cleaned, including a stairway and upstairs bedroom. Eric and Tony arrived exactly on time. Eric, the owner, offered stain repellant and deodorizing in addition to basic cleaning, but there was absolutely no hard sell although he was more than willing to explain what each service entailed when asked. The cleaning took a little longer than expected because they took the time to remove paint that had gotten onto the carpet when our general contractor painted the walls and also managed to remove old ground-in stains/dirt left by heavy furniture or heavy use by the previous owners. In addition, when we walked through the house to examine the just-cleaned carpet, Eric noticed tiny spots that were barely visible and insisted on re-cleaning them -- he and Tony are real perfectionists. The carpet looks and smells great! Finally, Eric and Tony are both extremely professional and personable and the entire experience was a pleasure. We will certainly call this company for our future carpet cleaning needs.

It was great. They arrived on time and set to work right away, taking the chairs outside so they didn't release anything toxic in the house. When they were done, my chairs looked almost brand-new.

Chem-Dry as many people know is a national franchise. Chem-Dry Action Quick (QDAC) is a local franchise but they must be one of the best in the country. We had an unusual event in the family and were expecting 50-60 people for a ceremony. Because of this we were opening up parts of the house that were not usually available for our rare social gatherings. We have 2 large German Shepherds, a cat and guest maltipoo (multi-poo may be more apt). When (QDAC) arrived it was the owner of the franchise, Eric Opheim and his assistant. Their arrival was in the middle of the time window they specified but also Eric called ahead to say they were on the way which I appreciated because it gave me time to get an errand done. They were both very professional, quickly measured what was to be done and gave me the available options without any selling pressure. We have a long carpeted hall which gave guests access to an additional bathroom and door to the backyard where the ceremony was held. To try out QDAC, I just had them do the hall which had quite a number of animal stains ( some going back years) and lots of dog hair. They had to work hard at it but I was astonished that all the stains came out so completely that it looked like new carpet. They also got all of the dog hair including right to the very edge of the walls, furniture and thresholds. I was so impressed that I asked them about doing more and they said yes because it was the last appointment of the day. So I had them do our master bedroom, the stairs and while they were doing that I was removing stuff from floor in my office so they could do that too. They also moved a number of heavy items in the bedroom for me while I was busy. The carept in the bedroom and on the stairs is probably at least 25 years old. After QDAC arrived and did the hall, I increased the total amount of cleaning to 5 times what we started with. They gave me a first-timers discount on the lot. My adult daughters had assumed the carpets might need to be replaced but when they got here after the job was finished, they were astonished too. Last, one of our dogs had chewed a very unsightly 6" hole in the carpet on the stairs. My daughters assumed I would have to replace all the carpet. Eric recommended Greg a carpet installer he had worked closely with in the past and respected. Greg made the hole on the stairs vanish just using some small left over carpet scraps that we still had. I will try to make an Angie's list post on him too. This fits with my experience of people who are good at what they do usually only recommend other people they respect to do other services. Think of it as increasing the odds of good jobs, I didn't have to roll the dice twice for two different jobs, Eric's recommendation took care of the second one - big time! Bottom line, rather then replace several thousand dollars worth of carpet we had things looking pristine for a few hundred. My adult daughters are rather nonplussed at what their not-so-domestic Father was able to pull off by using Angie's List and Eric at Chem-Dry Action Quick. I am in the process of moving things off the floors of additional rooms so I can have them come back soon.

I found Chem-Dry on Angie's List and, based on the reviews, I gave them a call. Right away I knew I'd scored. The woman who handles the phones is lovely, really helpful (turns out she started working for Eric, the owner, after having a great experience herself a few years back!) She worked with my schedule and got me the appointment I needed. Eric and Tony showed up on time and spelled out EXACTLY how they were going to proceed and what the service would cost. I had every exposed square inch of carpet cleaned in our home - bedrooms, hallways, the works. Eric informed me of the upgrade options with ZERO pressure to participate. I chose not to have all the Scotch Guarding, etc. and he didn't try to sell me at all. (He even admitted to not being able to reach a certain area he had estimated into the proposal and he took it off the bill) They did an AMAZING JOB!! When they were done it was like I had new carpet - even in my teenage boys' bedrooms. Eric didn't leave until he was satisfied that I was satisfied. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!! I am going to give away the wet-vac I bought two years ago! Thank you!!!

They arrived a little bit late, but called to say that they were running behind. Cleaned all the carpets in a couple hours, and everything looked great. A few spots came back in a couple days, but they came back and got them out successfully.

Eric and Tony arrived promptly and started working very efficiently - they pretreated all the spots which was included in the price of cleaning and not an extra service. I appreciated the fact that Eric called to let me know that he was on his way. The carpet was deep cleaned which brought out all the ground in dirt. After the treatment was done styrofoam blocks were placed under the various pieces of furniture so the carpet could dry more thoroughly. They were here for over 2 1/2 hrs. cleaning. It was the best carpet cleaning job that I have ever had. We may be able to keep the carpet for a much longer period of time now since it looks great!

Eric and Tony showed up right on time. Eric explained how the pricing worked, and measured the areas to be cleaned. The pleasing thing is that there was no attempt to upsell, and there were no hidden charges. He explained the carpet would be dry in about six hours, but the steps would tale a little longer. In six hours the carpets were completely dry abd this morning the steps were dry. I can't believe how good the carpet looks. Spots l thought were hopeless are gone. I am recommending him to anyone who wants a well-done professional carpet cleaning service.

Chem-Dry was able to schedule and early Saturday appt. at my request just 3 days prior to the service. The team showed up on-time and promptly went to work measuring, prepping, and cleaning. I find Chem-Dry's process to work beautifully, last longer, and dry faster than other services I've used. It was a pleasantly warm day so with windows open and whole-house fan working, everything (including stairs) were totally dry -- even with stain-guard application which usually extends drying time a bit. We will continue to use Chem-Dry as our service of choice.

They did an outstanding job. Especially the stairs which always amazes me how they can get to each step. I've used them twice now and will keep going back. The whole place lit up. The tenant who had just left had done a typical professional carpet shampoo. You could see traces of darkness and the carpet felt old under your toes. Hadn't been cleaned in 2 years. After the Chem-Dry cleaning, the carpet felt clean like a new home again. I can't say enough good things about the company and the quality of Chem-dry over traditional methods.

Agreeable phone contact. Came within time window and let us know when they were coming. Measured the area I wanted cleaning and only charged for the square footage actually cleaned, excluding beds and sofas that I didn't want moved. I added an extra room and several small area rugs to the original request. They set up their equipment and did the job, with careful attention to detail. Very pleased with the quality of the work and plan to have them return in the future.

Eric was professional and courteous over the phone and was able to come out the next day after I called. I always tend to wait until the last minute, but they are very accommodating and are usually able to fit us in. They were punctual - called when they were on their way within the time frame promised. They did a great job as usual. They are very kind to our spoiled dogs and careful not to let them get out. We have used them several times and the quality & service is consistent every time. I highly recommend them.

I researched many companies and based on the excellent reviews and the type of cleaning that the company does, called them. The wonderful woman who answered, explained their process to me and was most helpful. We had spoken to two other companies, but because of her, we decided to go with Chem-Dry. Eric, the owner, and his assistant came to the house right on time. Eric explained the process and how they estimate price, by the foot. He went and measured and gave me the price. I said fine. And then the two of them got right to work and worked hard for four hours. I had a very bad stain on one of the carpets... an entire cup of coffee that had had spilled, and they got it out. They were gentle in moving the (some of it very heavy) furniture, and put it back correctly. They were pleasant and hardworking. I would definitely use them again. Also, one of the things that appealed to me was the clean and chemical-free smell at the end. I've used other companies and was tortured by the smell residue. Not with Eric and Chem-Dry. Call this company. You won't be disappointed.

We just bought the house and decided that cleaning the carpets would be a good thing to do before moving in. A friend had told me about the Chem-Dry process and I found Action Quick on Angie's List. They were very responsive and I was able to get an appointment right away. Eric and Tony called ahead of time so I could be at the house when they got there. They were able to get out the major stains I had noticed upstairs and pointed out places I hadn't noticed. Very cordial and professional from the first call to the finished job.

Called Chem Dry Action Quick after our dog had a party with a basket of oranges while we were out. Sticky orange juice all over. June was very nice & friendly on the phone and managed to get us scheduled the next day. Eric & Tony are very professional, prompt and called to advise they were on their way. I was ready to write off my carpet, but they saved it. Eric and his technician, Tony, worked very hard and did a great job. This is a non-toxic method which is very important to me as I have allergies. the price was based on square footage which Eric calculated conservatively. Nice people.
