Chris quickly provided an estimate, got the job done in a timely fashion and it looked great. His crews were polite and left the site clean and tidy, the yard looked great. He called and stopped by regularly for the month after the sod was laid to check the condition and adjust the watering to the weather patterns. I might have been able to get the job done less expensively, though I don't really know for sure because I didn't get competing bids, but I was satisfied with the work and know that plant choices were right for the yard and the work was done properly.

They will give you an estimate to do the whole job or they will give you an estimate to do a band aid procedure. He called me back while he was on vacation.

I left a message on the company answering machine and Mr. Williams returned my phone call after a couple of days and arranged an appointment to estimate the repair charges. I was given a estimate that turned out to be the exact cost of the job. The work crew was thoughtful and professional. The work site was cleaned and my lawn was also fertilized. A couple of follow-up service calls were done as projected to ensure that the job was a total success.

Chris and his men showed up on time and got right to work. He went to great lengths to find flagstone that matched the stones already around the hot tub and used concrete and rebar (in addition to compacted dirt) to make sure the flagstone doesn't sink into what was once our spa. Removing the vines was the most labor intensive job. It was here we hit our only snag. In giving me his estimate, Chris hadn't counted on the extensive route system by the house. He would have stuck to his original estimate, but felt strongly the job required an extra day to do it right. I was glad to pay for it. As a landscape contractor, Chris was full of great design ideas for our yard. When we have some extra money, we intend to contact him again and put his creative powers to work.

Of the three bids I had for this project, Williams was the most expensive, but we picked them because we had worked with them before and trusted them and also because one of the other companies did not have a good report on this List. They were prompt, professional, and we were very pleased with the end result. When we asked for things that would increase the cost of the job, they let us know. They presented us with a design plan, and when we said we didn't like a certain type of plant, they helped us pick a suitable alternative. They took control of our sprinklers for the first month to make sure that the new plants got the appropriate care. I enjoyed working with them and would recommend them.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE GREAT. THEY RETURNED CALLS AND CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I'VE HAD A FEW PROBLEMS SINCE, AND THEY CAME RIGHT OUT. THE PEOPLE WERE A HUSBAND AND WIFE AND THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS VERY GOOD.
