Description of Work: On 10/16/15 replaced broken electric outlet cover onoutside wall |On 10/29/15 replaced timer inside and changed floscent lights ( only labor)on store signs. |My complaint is he started work after I arrived at 9:30am our appointment is 9am. |I called him at 9am notified there was car accident on freeway on my wayexit freewayI would be a little late. |But he said he arrived there at 8:30 and he claimed he worked from 8:30, despite our appointment is 9am He demanded his $80 hourly charge from 8: 30. Even thou there was nothing he had done before I came in. And demanded to pay cash so I had to pay cash. |

Description of Work: He installed a new bathroom fan and light fixture replacing one where the fan was no longer working. He also reconnected the duct work leading from the fans exhaust to the vent on the roof. All was done very well except we noticed after he left that the fixture wasn't perfectly centered in the bathroom ceiling. We assume that was because there were some barriers above the ceiling that he had to avoid. If we need something in the future, we will contact him to do it.

Description of Work: He installed a chandler over the dinning room table. I had missed place the installation instructions. He knew what to do without them. There was already wiring in the wall and ceiling from a previous chandler which had been removed. The wiring enabled the lighting to be dimmed. The Electrician informed us that the bulbs that came with the chandler would not respond to dimming the lights. He advised us of the type of lights we should get that would allow dimming them. We took the bulbs back to Loews which refunded our money (about half the cost of the chandler) and we bought the bulbs that could be dimmed, which cost about 15% of what the bulbs cost that we returned. I will use The Electrician for other electrical work I need done.

 + -1 moreI was able to get an appointment quickly at a time that met my schedule. George called about a half hour before the appointment, and actually arrived early. He dealt with my problems professionally and thoroughly, and he was very generous with his knowledge in helping me to understand the problems. He was here for two hours and he charges $75 per hour.
Description of Work: George repaired a circuit breaker that was not working. He also diagnosed and changed out three receptacles that were not functioning properly. He inspected several other questionable areas where I had concerns and either corrected the situation or informed me about how the items worked.

Description of Work: George was called this afternoon, arrived 15 minutes early for a 6:00 p.m. appointment and finished the job in an hour. We had flickering lights. He explained aluminum wiring and the dangers, treated the common leads in the breaker box, diagnosed a bad breaker and fixed the problem.

He arrived early at my house, but when he learned that I had not made arrangements to be home at that time, he offered to go get a soda and meet me at the time we had arranged. He quickly determined the likely cause, and added a new full size breaker. He also cautioned me that the aluminum wiring in my fuse box was dangerous and suggested taking some steps to reduce the risk, which he did. I will definitely have him come back to do additional work. He was polite, friendly, and helpful.

He did an excellent job on the wall work including patching the ''holes''. The fixtures were installed correctly, in an appropriate time frame. He was careful with the immediate area in which he was working & cleaned up the area when done. He charges by the hour, does not charge for travel time, is reliable & honest. I will employ him again and recommend his services.
