I first had contact with Finyl Vinyl on May 16 2014 for a appointment on May 20. My quote was misplace but on May 30 was given a quote which was accepted. On June 6 contract was signed with a 3 to 4 weeks start project installation date. It must be note that permits are required for the patio cover in my city and the company was informed. I contact the office after the 4 weeks and was given a 29 Jul installation date which was changed due a the lack of a permit to start. Project pass a City building plan check on July 17 and then was submitted for permits on July 29 and approved on Aug 12 2014. Installation date was setup and completed on Aug 22 2014. My contact with the office staff was always professional form the operator to the project scheduler. They were responsive with the owner sometime contacting me about the delays they had incurred. The installation crew went above what I expected. The lead installer Lupe explain how the installation would be accomplished and also gave me instruction on how to maintain my products. The project turn out looking outstanding. City Permit final inspection will take place on Sept 3. The reason for the B rating was the time it took to complete the project. .

The estimate was consistent with other estimates. The product seemed superior. The salesman knew the specifics of his product and was very professional. We had to wait several weeks, but the installers were great. They were on time, got right to work. Everything about our experience was positive.

They were good. They have a reasonable price and their service is efficient. They just came in and got it done quick. They did a good job and they did it fast.

This company is able to do a fence topper on top of a 3-inch wide brick fence where the other companies were telling me they couldn't do it. I also liked how they're going to install the fence topper by drilling into the fence, putting in rebar, and filling in the holes with cement for stability, I thought that was going to be a very solid fence.

I was very pleased with the attitude of the workers and the experience level of them also. They were professional.

Scott quickly responded to my inquiry and provided us with a great quote. The only reason we didn't use their service was because they wouldn't have been able to install the gate and fence for 4 weeks. We needed it done sooner since we put a pool in and couldn't move forward with inspection without the gate. I would definitely recommend them.

Due to miscommunication, the rep failed to show up on time for the initial appoinment to give me an estimate, but apologized and arrived promptly for the next appointment. The rep brought a brochure of the style/colors available. I selected what I wanted and was told to call when I knew the exact date I wanted the new gate/fencing installed as it was part of a major landscaping project. I called about a week ahead of time and they juggled their schedule to fit me in on the day I needed. The removal of old and installation of the new gate/fencing were done with no problems. The qualtiy of the gate is excellent. I am very pleased with their work and professionalism.

In 2010 we paid approximately $1,700 for a privacy screen for our manufactured home. In October 2013, we moved our manufactured home to another physical location. We contracted with Finyl Vinyl to remove the privacy screen, store it for 2 mos, and reinstall it at the new location. Two men came to remove and reinstall the privacy screen, although only one of the men did the work. The other man watched. It took less than two hours total to do the entire job. I felt that I'd been taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge concerning the difficulty of the task. I thought the job required some special skill since the cost was $950.00 and there were not material costs. I was mistaken. I should have simply called a handy man who could have done the work for $150.00. A few months later I allowed them, along with other vendors, to give me a quote on more fencing at my new location. I thought perhaps since they may be willing to give me a better deal because I had paid them full price and even more on two previous occasions. That was incorrect. Their quote was $500 more than other vendors on a $4,000 job. Indeed, their quote included an extra charge to haul away the dirt from the post holes. None of the other vendors charged for that. Finally, I pointed out to the representative a minor repair needed on one of the panels they re-installed. After pausing to think about, he agreed that they could "probably" fix that. I felt like he was doing me a favor to fix the work that his company had done! Summarizing: The product and installation are well above average; nevertheless, their business practices and pricing are well below average.

Don and his team at Finyl Vinyl are total professionals. I was a bit skeptical about replacing my old gate with new, however, the new gate and fence look absolutely amazing. The quality is much better than i previously had as well. I will definitely use Finyl Vinyl in the future.

They came twice to measure and make sure they new exactly what I wanted. Came and installed everything and came back the next day to finish up working around my schedule.

They are responsible and they worked well. They got the job done quickly. They are also nice.

A representative from the company showed up the day after we contacted the company. He was polite and efficient, answering all of our questions. The tear down and rebuild of the fence were both completed on the days promised. We were very pleased with the professionalism and work performed by the company.

This was not a great experience overall. They were very prompt in providing a quote and scheduling an installation date. The installation itself did not go well. When the installation date was scheduled, I was told they would be there at 8am. The day of the installation (which no one called to confirm BTW), I waiting until 8:30 and then called to see where they were. Don answered, and said he just got to the office and didn't know where they were, but that they should be there by 9am. I decided to run an errand and while I was out, someone else from the office called to tell me that the installer decided not to come and do the installation because it was raining (which it was not raining at my house). I asked that they come immediately to do the installation and she told me that the installer was in San Bernardino and would probably be there by 11am. The installer did show up around 11am and started work. I left and ran more errands and returned at 12:30 to find the installer sitting on my driveway and the gate still not finished. He informed me that one of the posts for the gate was "missing" and that someone else was supposed to bring it to him (from San Bernardino). The person arrived with the part about 1.5 hrs later. They finally finished the installation just after 3pm. What should have been a 2 hour start to finish job took 7 total hours of my time being wasted because they did not show up on time and did not have the right parts. I do like the gate. The quality is very nice. But the actual installation experience was bad. I would consider using them again but only if they offered me a discount for the inconvenience of this job.

We have used Finyl Vinyl before, and were happy that their estimate was as good or lower than the others. (We actually have used at least three vinyl fence companies in the past and had horrible experience with one of them, so we wouldn't consider that one again.) I was pleased that the billing department worked with us to allow payment from three different sources with no confusion. Upon completion of the job, I was concerned with the stability of one of the posts but they said it would firm up by the next day. It didn't, so I called the next morning and by noon, they had been back to fix it to my satisfaction. I was pleased with the price, the personnel, and the final product. I would use Finyl Vinyl again.

Everything went great. We had been disappointed by a previous company and were wary, but Finyl Vinyl was excellent all along the process. We stopped by the office to sign the contract and pay the down payment. We had to wait several days before we could get an install date, but once we did everything went smooth. The Technician showed up a little earlier than the stated time, but we were fine with that. We talked some about the installation and our expectations. He was finished in 2 hours. He cleaned up and the fence looks great!

We met the Finyl Vinyl Representative a a home show. He was very low key, informative, and answered all of our questions. About a month after the home show we contact him for a estimate. He showed up at the appointed time, provided us an estimate. We contacted him about our decision to have the fence installed. He showed up the following day and we provide him a down payment. At that time we were told that the company would be in contact with us to arrange for the installation. We were contacted a week later about the install date. The company was flexible and met our scheduling needs. The fence was completed on time.

It went great. They returned my call the first day I contacted them, and the salesman visited my house two days later. I liked what they promised versus the one competitor I visited. It took two weeks to make the gate and deliver it, and it was installed quickly and very nicely. Four weeks later the gate had sagged a bit and was not closing properly. Basically, once it was hanging up on its hinges, the materials settled a little bit -- maybe 1/4 inch? I called and got an immediate response, and they scheduled the installer to return that Saturday, within 3 days of my call, when he finished with other scheduled installs. OK, he was swamped on Saturday and didn't show up until first thing on Monday morning -- someone else might complain about that, but to me I was on "stand by" status and very happy he showed up as soon as he could. It took Carlos, the installer, about 1 minute to figure out what was going on, and maybe 10 minutes to repair it. A few strategic screws helped hold everything in place and make the gate solid as a rock. He also showed me how to use the marine grade hinges, which can be adjusted to shore up any sag. I'd never seen an adjustable hinge before. The gate works just fine now. I was happy to begin with, and then really happy when they showed up immediately and happily to make things work up-to-snuff.

installation went great. The installer would ask me every time he needed to install something just to make sure it was to my satisfaction. There was no problems with the installation and all old materials were removed from the property. It looks great and works great.

We are very pleased. They came in and did it in a half a day. Our fencing was 80 feet and I would hated to have it totally down for a whole night or a whole day. So for them to do it in one day was really good. One of the reasons I went with them is because they were able to do it in one day. They did a really nice job and they were responsive. They came right on time and they were very professional.

I wish I had seen the report written by someone else on 9/21/05 - somehow I missed that one. A different report written on 7/10/06 was right on. It was very difficult to ever reach this company. Make sure you get the salesperson's cell phone number if you use this company, that was the only way I could ever get a live person or question answered. I got my original estimate on 5/29/08, paid my deposit on 6/20, and the final work was done on 09/02!! It took 17 days to get any local references from them. I should have stopped right then. The 45 foot long fence was shared with my neighbor and he paid half of this portion of the work by check. His check however either got lost in their office or in the mail, so it took me a while to track down this initial problem. This portion of the work was done 7/25 and went well. The company said the rest of the work would be done about a week later. They were waiting for the curved parts, although the salesperson never mentioned there would be any delay when I ordered this extra option. They delayed this second installation two more times, then I was on vacation for two weeks. They said everything remaining would definitely be ready when I returned, but I gave them an install date that was even 4 days past that. They delayed installation yet a third time. When they finally came to install, they came with the wrong color gate hardware, one of the gates was too wide and had to be sent back to the factory to be cut down, portions of the 11 foot fence were still missing, two of the vertical poles had the wrong holes in it, and one of the horizontal posts was too short!!. When they came back for the third installation they finally finished. It was like pulling teeth all the way. The actual laborers however took a lot of pride in their work and I actually felt sorry for them having to deal with the errors made by the salespeople/production/scheduling departments. This company needs to improve some of their processes.

Finyl Vinyl took removed my fence that was made of wood because it was filled with termites and they replaced it with the vinyl fence. It took them 3 1/2 to 4 hours to complete the job. They were very careful and put all the debris left after finishing into plastic bags so they would not get it on our carpet when they were taking it out. They were also early so I was very please and impressed with that. I did check around first and got estimates up to 5000 dollars. They charged the best price out of everyone I checked with. They only charged me 1609 dollars which was a great deal.

The sales rep and installers were very friendly and professional. The fencing appears to be made of quality materials. The bid was competitive. Getting my calls returned regarding installation dates, and fixing a problem with the gate proved to be very difficult. After 3 weeks of calls and no-shows for the repair appointment, I resorted to calling the company president who resolved the problem the same day.

THEIR WORKMANSHIP WAS POOR. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM IS POOR. OVERALL IT WAS POOR. JUST EVERYTHING IS POOR. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE SITUATION FIXED FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS. EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. IF WE NEED TO GO TO THE CONTRACTOR'S BOARD, WE WILL.

THIS COMPANY PROVIDED A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT THAT WAS DELIVERED WITHIN THE QUOTED TIME AND INSTALLED APPROPRIATELY. THE CUSTOMER SURVIVE REPS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL.
