Concrete & marble Transformerz

Description of Work: They cleaned and polished the marble on three countertops. I had a lot of hard water buildup around the faucets and they got it all looking like new. It looks great!

Description of Work: They had to redo my floors twice because the first time they sprayed something on at the end that left blotches. In the end, the job turned out nice but it was just disappointing because it cost me two days of time.

Description of Work: Their work was good, I was very happy with the way my marble looked. There were some issues with scheduling, some delays were mine and some theirs. But, eventually we set up the appointment and the work got done. I would use them again.

Description of Work: We responded to the Angie's List offer from Marble Transformerz of "$149 for Granite Cleaning, Polishing, and Sealing" since we've had some surface erosion on a bathroom counter. We figured two birds with one stone. Jose came out and was very prompt and polite. He informed me that the counter in question was not granite but travertine, which is much softer, thus the erosion. He noted that fixing the erosion would require fine grinding, much as one does with diamonds, and would be a separate charge of $100. I said okay, since that was the problem we wanted to deal with in the first place. It took him about an hour to do the grinding then the Cleaning, Polishing, and Sealing of the counter in question and the one facing it (both of which fit within the 150 sq. ft. spec of the deal). He seemed to do fine, though frankly I couldn't tell much difference except for the grinding, which worked well. Jose showed me how water now beaded on the surfaces and also gave me advice for avoiding problems in the future. When my wife came home she noticed that the two travertine counters were somewhat different color and surface texture. I didn't feel that Jose's appliques would have caused this, but rather that we'd never noticed it since we'd always had so much stuff on the counters. We also saw that opposite sides of our bathtub counter were the same different colors, though we'd never noticed that before and Jose hadn't treated it. Still, I can't vouch for something I hadn't noticed. I put B grades above because I was pleased with MT's performance overall but can't be certain about the color difference. I would recommend that you use MT, but pay attention to the color(s) of your stone first.
