It went great!

Ross arrived within the promised time frame and completed the job professionally and to my great satisfaction... Actually I believe he went above and beyond considering that he was working alone and that one piece of furniture that he had to move weighs just a little less than a bus... He had all of the correct tools to complete the job without a hitch. Clean up after he finished the instal;lation was very thorough. Ross is a very personable and informative professional. He was kind enough to tutor me on how to handle spills and accidents so that they do not become permanent stains. All in all a very delightful experience. THanks you Ross for a job very well done.

While I have intended to write a review, we all know the value of 'good intention'. So here it is several months past, with no prompt other that seeing [every day] the results ...a review, better late than never. In February, I selected Ross Carpet Care after interviewing a number of reputable providers from Angie’s List. Ross did the job the first week in March. The two things that first impressed me about Ross’s service was his straight forward pricing scheme and willingness to take on the job of installing ‘used’ but nevertheless, high quality carpet and padding that I had the fortune of getting free. I found that re-laying previously installed carpet is not an easy task, and is therefore a task most other installers didn’t want to do, or will charge an excessively high premium for the accommodation [compared to Ross’ pricing that is]. Ross met some tight scheduling issues important to our family, arrived on time and completed the work on time. Because the carpet was ‘used’ we engaged his cleaning service to deep cleaning the carpet after installation. Using his specialized equipment, the carpet looks like new. \ Ross, stands behind his work product. This cleaning resulted in one seam [mid-span in the largest room] to slightly separate. Ross warranted his work and without hesitation scheduled a convenient time to repair the seam. Additional things I admired about Ross were his unbridled enthusiasm for not only doing quality work, but his efforts to both educate his customer about options to ensure the customer understands what is being done and why. All that said, Ross not only did a great job, he takes pride in his work, ensuring customer satisfaction when the job is done. Bottom line, Ross did the job on time and on budget. Whether for installation, repair or cleaning, I won’t hesitate to employ Ross Carpet Care again.

We cannot recommend Ross Carpet Care highly enough; he is professional, prompt, courteous, friendly, thorough, and his skillful work is a value--we intend to be repeat clients! Ross is a kind person who clearly cares about the services he provides, and he educated us in regards to the carpet in our new home and how to care for it (all white carpet + pets is usually a disaster). Ross brought our dingy-looking carpets back to brilliance, did not push us to purchase add-ons that were not needed and took his time doing an amazing job. In fact, we were so pleased that we immediately began hosting guests--and the revolving door kept us so busy that we were remiss in not posting a review until now...during a search for roofers on Angie's List. Lastly, these days it is difficult to find contractors whom you can be comfortable having in your home--Ross is one of them. We are pleased to highly recommend Ross to Angie's List members and friends and family alike.

He knows his stuff and he carries all the tools and supplies he needs in his truck. Very responsive to phone calls and questions. Very professional and nice, too. I'll hire him again!

Results Overall - better than expected Follow Ross's recommendations he knows his profession

Great from start to finish! He arrived on time, explained exactly what he was going to do, then spent about 5 hours completing the most meticulous carpet cleaning/repair I have ever seen! He got rid of the dark areas on beige carpet that were around the edges of the carpet. He went over highly soiled spots multiple times. The carpet looks brand new. It was worth every penny!

We wanted to install high-quality Berber carpet and pad that we had removed from another house. A different installer had cut the carpet and pad to size and then stored it in our garage until we were ready to have it installed (by which time he was no longer available). It was a bit difficult to then find someone who was willing to tackle the job, as some installers prefer not to install used carpet (especially when someone else had cut the carpet to size and removed it from its original location), but Ross had no hesitation about doing the job, Ross and his associate, Don, moved the carpet and pad to the house where it was to be installed, made sure that the pre-cut carpet pieces were the correct size (they had to make some adjustments and improvise a bit using extra carpet pieces that were available), made sure that the grain of the carpet was uniform throughout the house, installed the pad (piecing it together so that it fit properly), and then installed the carpet (using a power stretcher where necessary). Ross then returned a few days later to steam clean the carpet. Prior to steam cleaning the carpet had a few spots and creases (where it had been folded in storage). After cleaning, the carpet looked like new, and all of the imperfections had disappeared. Ross also acid washed the bottom row of bricks on our hearth that had always looked dingy due to excess grout that had not been removed properly during installation. The fireplace looks better than it did when it was new. Ross always showed up on time, did excellent work, and charged a fair price. We were very happy with the job he did and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Ross did an amazing job cleaning my carpeting. He is very thorough and took the necessary time to do the job right. I have used several different companies in the past and the carpet has never looked as good as it did when Ross cleaned it. I would highly recommend him!

When I made the appointment with Ross, he explained his system: an estimate carpet footage multiplied by 30 cents per foot, plus the price for sets of stairs. We discussed the size of our condo and his best guess at what it might run us for a total. I decided that I would ask him to do the service while he was here estimating, provided that it wasn't outrageously more expensive once the estimate was complete. Ross called en route and arrived within a few minutes of scheduled time. He measured the condo and provided the estimate which was extremely close to our phone conversation. He then cleaned our two sets of stairs, living room/dining area, hallway and two bedrooms. It took roughly 4 hours. He spent a lot of time on our stairs which are heavily trafficked. Before Ross came, the edges of the stairs were filthy. They had recently endured a construction crew walking up and down them repeatedly for more than a month. And though we'd had a chemical carpet cleaner in since then (4 months ago), that dirt hadn't been touched. We also had many spots from a cat who throws up food which doesn't match our carpet. (Isn't that always the way?!) And we had areas where I had tried to clean and worried I had removed color from the carpet because the difference in tone was so acute. The results were astonishing! Our carpet is once again the same throughout the condo. This is a great gift. I had worried that our varied previous attempts at cleaning had done permanent damage. Not so. The carpets just needed a good steam cleaning from a man who knows his business. Among other things, I appreciated that Ross did not try to sell me any special stain prevention coating for the carpet or anything else. The only thing high pressure was his cleaning machine.

The hallway was a much bigger job than I had anticipated, and he had to pull out furniture in 2 bedrooms in order to stretch the carpet all the way to the far walls. This entailed moving a very heavy entertainment center, which he accomplished with very little help from me. Ross did it willingly, wanting to do the job properly, although it took him 5 hours non-stop to complete it. He held the price to his original estimate; however, we feel the job was worth considerably more. We plan to make it up to him by having him steam clean our carpeting at a future date. It is a pleasure to write this report, as we found Ross to be a very honest, energetic, conscientious contractor, willing to put forth extra time and effort to do the job right -- the type of person who is difficult to find these days. We would highly recommend him for cleaning, repairing, stretching, installing, or any project regarding carpet care.

Ross is very professional and friendly. He did a fantastic job on all my carpets. My family room rug was extremely dirty and they all look fantastic. So nice and clean. He is reasonable priced and did a thorough job. I will use him again and will recommend him to my family and friends.

Highly recommend to everyone. Previous carpet cleaners in past years, had left "un-cleanable" spots, and visible tread paths, but Ross and his steam cleaning machine made our 14 year old beige carpet look absolutely like NEW! Best carpet cleaning I have ever experienced. Very professional workmanship and also pleasant to talk with during his work. We will certainly recommend his services to my daughter and friends and definitely will have him back the next time I need the carpet cleaning service.

I think he is wonderful. I wouldn't have anyone else. I have never been disappointed with his work. My carpets are now 25 years old and they still look brand new every time he finishes. I wouldn't dream of having anyone else.

Ross has done our carpets 5 or 6 times now. First of all he has real industrial grade equipment and knows how to use it. This is no zip,zip bring in a wet vac service. He has a heavy duty buffer type cleaner that really works the steam into to carpet and gets everything out. Then he has a large truck mounted extractor that gets all the water out. The carpets look like new when he is done and that is after a year of accidents with an aging dog. If you want your carpets truely clean, this it the way to go. He has plenty of customers so you may need to book him early. We were in no hurry so a little wait made no differance. He will be doing our carpets as long as we are here and he is in buisness both of which we expect to be a long time.

dont let this guy get away.i have worked with many repair people in the past and ross rose to the occasion.he went over and beyond the call of duty.he found repairs that i didnt even know i had .did a great job at a fair price.very dependable ,i will not lose his number and will be calling him again. thanks ross !!!!!! bob fillion real estate broker

This was our second experience using Ross Carpet care and he was just as thorough and professional as our first service. I was further impressed with Ross' knowledge of the chemistry behind proper carpet cleaning. In addition,l Ross he was on time and confirmed his appointment prior to arriving.

I've been using him for the past 8-10 years. He is excellent. I've used other people in-between his services and he is very far the best. He is so thorough. His price was so reasonable for the carpet in the bathroom and he spent so much time on it. I have a pretty large house and the price included the carpet cleaning and the carpet replacement. He does an excellent job.
