The service went well. Two technicians came out and completed the job in a couple days. They were very nice and did a good job. We are very pleased with the units. They were precise and great at cleaning up after themselves. I had no problem scheduling the service.

The installation went very smoothly and we were completely satisfied with the entire transaction. We subsequently signed up for their three year "Action Rewards Club Precision Tune-Up Program" which provided for, among other benefits, two tune-ups per year, one for our heating system and one for our air conditioning unit. The fee charged for this Tune-Up program is very reasonable considering all of the benefits it provides. A representative always calls to schedule these services so you don't even have to think about it. We have been very pleased with Action Air and look forward to continuing our business relationship with them in the future!

The service went fine. 2-3 technicians came out and completed the installation in 2-3 days. They also had to take out the old units and pour 2 concrete pads. I was not there while they did the service. They did what they said they would and were great at cleaning up after themselves. I had no problem scheduling he service. I did think their pricing was a little high but I did not get another bid for the job.

I have been using the company for about 6-7 years. As a contracted member I did get 10% off the part needed to repair the AC. They show up as scheduled and are flexible with scheduling. The staff does a good job. The technicians are polite and professional. They wear booties in the house and even have supplies ready in their truck for whatever you may need. I am pretty picky but I would definitely recommend them to others.

They will not try to sell unnecessary services and are straight forward. It is very easy to contact the company and schedule a service. When they installed the AC I had also reached out to 2 other companies. I wanted the service done quickly and they were able to do that. They also offered the appropriate service to get the moisture out of the air to not effect my wife's sinuses. They also had the better pricing.

I have been using the company for several years. They originally installed the AC unit. They are a good company. The staff is prompt and do good work. They are efficient workers and scheduling is very easy. They can usually fit us in as quickly as they can.

Sales representative was very professional and helpful. The first furnace to arrive had a dent in it and they installed it anyhow. Also forgot to insulate the cabinet. We didn't discover it until later. They ordered a new system and swapped it out a few weeks later and completed the cabinet insulation.

I called to get the system services and was schedule between 12-3. I, of course, took the day off of work to be here for the service, but nobody came during that scheduled time. At 3:05 I called and the woman that answered said that according to her records they were at our home. I asked her to call me back when she knew more about the situation. She called back at 3:15 and said that someone would be at our home around 4 pm. I find this to be unacceptable because I had somewhere else to be.

They did a good job. They are up and up. They do everything by the book and the experience was very nice. They were very professional and they worked as a team very well. They were on time and answered all my questions. They were very helpful. The salesmen would sometimes say things and not follow through so I was a little upset with him a few times even though I do feel he was trying to do his best. He is dealing with scheduling and traffic problems. The home they did the work at was built in 1980.

We are very happy with the air conditioner itself. It?s working great! All the guys were very friendly. There have been multiple problems with the installation. They put the wrong fuses in the electrical box, so we didn't pass our inspection. They came back another day and installed new fuses and we had to schedule another inspection. They also didn't put the locking mechanism on the fuse box, and they had to come back yet another day to install that. They put the air filter in backwards, which was an easy fix. They also changed the overflow system so that it does not divert water condensation outside anymore. They used a 2 stage system instead. It would have been nice to have been informed of this change before (or at least during) installation. The biggest issue is that the nice gentleman from Action Air who sold us the unit (whom we never saw again) promised us that mastic would be used on all connections in the system. In fact, they used no mastic whatsoever; they only used tape. As no surprise, we had a leaky area within a short period of time. We had to schedule yet another visit for them to come fix the leak. They left us with extra tape in case it leaked again. It won't surprise us if after we are beyond the 1 year workmanship guarantee we have another leak. Overall, we have cold air, which is what we wanted. But there have definitely been some challenges along the way, and it's still not installed in the way promised.

It has turned out great. We are really happy with them. We have been using them for 2 years. They are fast, friendly, and affordable. They are trustworthy and do a good job. I feel the price is fair.

They completed the job in 2 ½ days and it turned out very well. Everything went smoothly. They were above average. The installers really hustled and moved fast. They didn’t even take lunch breaks and it was very hot in the attic. They did a thorough installation and showed me everything. It wasn’t a simple job, but they did a very good job. We are satisfied with the quality of the product and the price was competitive.

It was good. The technician was friendly. He completed the job in about an hour, but scheduling was a little difficult.

Action Air is the HVAC contractor for Costco and installs Lennox HVAC systems. After a long 2 1/2 hour thorough measurement and inspection of my home, their estimate was way too high compared to others. Costco did offer a rebate by way of a "Cash Card" but that is a misnomer since you can't redeem that card for cash, it's only to pay for merchandise at Costco. Their other two rebates were for the Executive Card cash back and for the Costco AMEX card, neither of which I have. So since these were not discounts per se, the entire cost of the system had to be paid upfront. We chose to go with another HVAC company.

Not selected. #1 issue was 100% up front vs. 10% with scheduled progress payment. Rep. Stated this was COSTCO policy to get $1000 rebate. Calls to COSTCO were not retuned. Local COSTO unaware of policy. Very professional and informative. Compared 7 local installers. Decision made considering AHRI results, costs, Angie's list rating, and Consumers Reports rating. Would consider for future evaluations

We used them in 2008 to replace my in-attic a/c and heating system and continued to use them for yearly maintenance of the system. We were really happy with installation and service. We then hired them to install solar panels. The sales person was very informative and we proceeded with installing the solar system. We would recommended them for A/C, heating, solar panel and maintenance.

We met the Action A/C rep at costco and scheduled a sales visit. The salesman came to our house. We have split ventilation systems for upstairs and downstairs. We have lived in this large house for 3 years and never had a/c. Truly, there are 10, maybe 15 days in the summer where we would have used a/c. We originally only wanted a/c upstairs where all the bedrooms are. Bob feindt, the sales rep, told me that he would throw in "the maximum amount" of free service visits (they call it "the rewards club") if we purchased units for both upstairs AND downstairs. He also said the installation fee would be significantly less, if we installed them both at the same time. We have plans for several other upgrades to the house, and wanted to be sure that we would have all the permits and inspections completed prior to starting our other work. He ensured that it would be 7 to 10 business DAYS. 10 days after the installation, I texted the sales rep and asked about how I register for the rewards club, and how I could schedule the city inspector. He told me I should be receiving the permits in a day or two. After NOT receiving the paper work in a couple of days, I again texted the sales rep. He said he needed to "check his notes" regarding the action A/C club, and that I should be receiving the permits "any day". He never got back to me, and the office staff wouldn't give me ANY complimentary visits from the rewards club. This was 30 days ago. I have since called the office staff once a week f and each time they LIED and told me they had the permits, or that they were getting the permits "today" and we should be getting it in the mail in two days. The units went in, and we have used them a few times during this hot/humid weather. They function fine. The installers were punctual and polite, but had some technical difficulties and were here much longer than they said they would be. I am not bothered by that-I would rather have the job done correctly the first time, which they did. My problem is the office staff and Sales rep. I HATE LIARS. I would rather be disappointed by the truth, than infuriated by LIES. There are too many companies out there to do business with, rather than do business with a company that lacks integrity

We weren't disappointed. Once we decided on Action AC, they got us on their schedule promptly, took care of all permits, connected us with related contractors (we wanted to begin the whole project by sealing and insulating the attic and we needed to finish it with some framing and drywall work to make a closet out of the old furnace room), and even communicated on our behalf with those contractors to coordinate work and ensure quality. Greg Gill, the owner, knows his stuff and responds to requests effectively and fairly. Greg gave us what seems to be a thoughtfully designed HVAC system, and he suggested and followed through on some significant discounts that helped take the rough edges off the total cost of our projects. Benjamin Jones, who manages the solar PV projects, is very communicative and personable and follows through promptly. For example, since we were going with solar panels we decided to get an electric car (Chevy Volt--we're loving that, too), and Benjamin jumped on board, included the solar PV capacity needed for both our car charging and new AC needs, and even included a level II electric car charger, including permit, as part of our job. Action AC's crews were outstanding. We've seen crews who blew in and back out at warp speed before we had a chance to digest what they were doing, and others who seemed to take forever to get the job done. Action AC's crews were a nice blend of efficiency and care. They sure didn't waste any time, but they also didn't seem to want to cut corners--they appear to pride themselves in their work. Refreshing. They cleaned up after themselves each day they were on the job, and treated the occupants of the house courteously and respectfully. Both the HVAC crew and the sub-contracted solar PV crew were hard-working and efficient, but communicative as well. So if we needed to make a decision or suggestion, they took time to discuss with us, consult with their managers or other technicians, as needed, and come up with a solution. We ended up having a lot of confidence in them and their work. We're very happy with our systems--both HVAC and solar PV. We'll be signing up for Action AC's HVAC maintenance contract, and we'll be spreading the word on this very dedicated and responsible group of people, who seem to be as excited about a good HVAC or solar PV design as you or I would be about our own home improvement project.

Previously, provided by a different party, we had an energy audit done on our house that resulted in recommendations for a new heater, air conditioner, duct work, insulation, and some other things. I contacted Action Air Conditioning Heating and Solar to make an appointment to come to our house to prepare a bid for the upgrade project. Kathy Woods was professional and gave me her email address to send the energy report. I asked that it be reviewed to understand the challenges and possible solutions before someone came to see the house. She said she would forward it to the owner as soon as she received it. I sent it that day. After several days went by and no one had called to make an appointment to see the house, I called and spoke with Kathy again. She assured me that she had received the email and sent it to her boss, Greg Gill. I questioned whether the owner was interested in doing the work and she said she was sure he was. She was going to speak to him and they would get back to me to schedule the appointment. I never heard from them. Whatever the reason they did not want our business, it would have been courteous to indicate that rather than ignore me.

It was superb! Their quote was very detailed and was $2300 to $3300 less than the other quotes that we received. They also did an excellent job with the installation. They actually had a supervisor on site to oversee the work, and they followed up to ensure everything was done properly. The city assessor was very impressed with the quality of the job, too.

On time (even a little early), polite, and professional. Was able to get an appt. within a few days of my initial call. Completed work quickly and had the part I needed on his truck.
