First of all, Seaside was very generous in accommodating me by fitting me into their work schedule to work with mine... Thank you! The technician was a bit later than scheduled but I was called by the office indicating the new estimated timeframe which was appreciated. The issue I was having was looked into and was diagnosed within a few minutes. The technician was very courteous and the repair was accomplished in about an hour. No surprises at the end regarding prices. I used an Angie's List coupon and they honored it by reducing the overall cost as advertised.

Showed up early which was fine since I was their first appointment for the day and already prepared for their arrival. The technician went right to work and was done in about 30 minutes so it was very quick. He serviced the AC and made sure that everything was in good order for the Summer.

We called and left a detailed message on Monday morning. No return phone call that day, or at all. No contact or service done. We cannot grade on professionalism or punctuality, because they never gave us the chance.

Service was excellent. Tech was very courteous and professional. He answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to maintain the equipment. Definitely worth the $60. Will most likely bring them back to perform some repairs that are needed and would recommend to friends.

A/C works more efficiently and does not need to go continuously to keep the house cool. Professional representative who did not attempt to sell me a new system.

AFTER FAN WAS REPLACED, MOISTURE WAS NOTED AND DRIPPING AT CEILING VENTS. CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY SENT A SERVICE MAN (NOT A SHORT DISTANCE) AND ANOTHER SYSTEM CHECK WAS COMPLETED AT NO CHARGE. HE ALSO EXPLAINED HOW CONDENSATION WOULD OCCUR DUE TO DATA SETTINGS-------SYSTEM NOW OPERATING AS DESIRED. COMPANY PROVIDED EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They're very good, I?m very satisfied. They just did the AC tune up. I also got their annual maintenance afterward, because I thought they did a good job. I think the person they sent out is knowledgeable, and he explains. For example, The condensation pipe was clogged and he explained to me first, what could be the out come, then he worked on it. I think overall, the person is very knowledgeable and courteous and also on time.

Seaside was able to get me in the same day as my call. The technician quickly identified the problem and had the parts with him. He took the time to show me what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. I will use Seaside again.

We moved into our new house a few months ago, and now that it's been getting hot, we figured it would be good to do a proactive maintenance on the AC unit before we really need to crank it into high gear. After I purchased the Big Deal, I received a message in my Message Center asking to either reply with my phone number or to contact them directly to setup the appointment. The gal I spoke to was very friendly and got us set up for an appointment within the week and gave me a standard 2 hour block (between 10:30 and 12:30). She also asked if our AC was currently working (I believe to prioritize over tune-ups like mine which is totally understandable). The day of the appointment, the technician - Mike - arrived at around 11 AM and promptly began his work. Mike was very polite and professional, and answered a few questions I had along the way about filter maintenance and some other about the AC unit. He conducted several tests on the unit and furnace, cleaned out and I believe lubricated the unit, and checked some other items with the thermostat. He also mentioned there was a little air leaking from the furnace, so he used some insulation tape to secure it and help seal it. In the end he mentioned everything looked good (regarding readings, coolant level, air filter, etc.) and gave us a brochure that described some of the other services they had for future reference, including some coupons if we refer others. What I really appreciated is that he didn't try to up-sell us on anything unnecessary and appreciated he briefly mentioned the literature to check out at our leisure. Overall, we were very pleased with the service from Mike and Seaside and would definitely recommend them and use them again if/when we need additional service for our AC or heating!

Overall I was disappointed with the service. The only positive part was the fact that he showed up on time. Other than that the guy came in, told me I need some repairing done on my unit but never gave me a quote. In fact he wasn’t specific about anything! This Company was quite a bit of a distance away so I felt this also was an inconvenience for him and me. He said he booked two jobs too close together, so I kind of felt as if he had intentions to rush through the job. I felt like I wasn’t worth the time.

In a word, Fantastic. Our AC has been out for 6 days. Besides the discomfort of not having it, I use a machine to breath nightly which makes my condition far worse that discomfort. I had the great privilege of actually having the owner of the company, Victor Serrao, come to our home to do the repairs. He was not there 5 mins and found the problem! Since he did not have the part in his truck, he called another of his crew, drove and got the part himself in rush hour traffic, came back and installed the part himself. That drive took some distance and time, I can assure you. I told him that Seaside Air Conditioning and Heating will be our go to company from now on to do anything related to air and heating. Victor is so personable. That is a very important issue with me. I felt very comfortable with him and his work was commendable as well. It went okay. Their Technician was very pleasant. I gave them a "C" because I think I got taken. The deal I purchased was for service and up to 2 units of refrigerant for free. I knew I needed about that or a little less from last years service so it was a good deal. The A/C unit had also blown a fuse (it wasn't cooling) being this was after the earthquake so I needed a new fuse. The technician tried to sell me a package like they all do, but I can always get a deal. He checked out the unit, said it needed a fuse and that the condenser could be going bad which most likely caused the blown fuse (and then gave me a quote for $ 2400 for a new one). The unit was only 6 years old so I was pretty p***** at that point. He mentioned I'd be able to tell if it kept blowing fuses in the future and to give them a call to replace it. He also said he wasn't going add the refrigerant because he didn't want there to be too much refrigerant as it would hurt the system (which I do not believe being the last service guy I had WAS going to add the refrigerant I needed and I trust them way more!). He did throw in the fuse instead (which I'm sure was only a few bucks). In the end, he applied huge stickers from their company to everything he touched (which I removed once he left). I just didn't get a good feeling about this company and probably won't be calling them back.

They were so great to work with. They were courteous and on time. I just can’t say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Bought the Angie's list hot deal for 59 for a tuneup service. Although the company never contacted me, i called them a week later after buying the deal and scheduled to come out. Jesus was the tech. He was great and seemed very legit. Parents even offfered a soda since it was sweating hardcore (hot day) was at the house for over 3 hrs. He was in fact a little early so after some confusion on my part - thought he was coming the next day - when in fact i was wrong as all my notes said monday. When i called the office to complain and swore they told me it was Tuesday, the office explained it was highly unlikely but that they would reschedule. Long story short, they (woman) were highly professional even though i was completely wrong. The tech went to lunch and I managed to get my parents at the house in 30 mins. Told them i had some issues with water leaking inside the ac unit and after doing his work, he found out that condensation pipe was clogged. He cleaned it out for me and also taped up the AC unit with that sealing tape (as all of it was missing). As part of the service, he found I needed a half-pound of freon (included in the deal). The AC was from 88. He also told me my capacitor was at 50% of life. He charged approx 120 for replacement with part. Seemed like an okay deal, so had him take care of it. All in all, a positive experience even though there was an extra 120 repair needed. Interesting enough the company, has a VIP club with a annual fee that includes a free AC and Heater tuneup for each season, respectfully. They offer a 90 day warranty on the service but if you are a VIP member its like a multi- yr warranty.

I had to go with other companies as I was unable to reach anyone at the company during any of my phone calls to Seaside, and never received a call back.

Seaside was extremely efficient and friendly from start to finish. I expected that I would have to pay extra since I had not had the air conditioner serviced in quite awhile. He was thorough, and told me that all was in good shape with nothing more needed. I will definitely use Seaside for my annual air conditioner and furnace maintenance. I appreciate their efficiency and honesty.

The previous A/C rep. was going to charge over $800 for a new circuit board when all that was needed (as discovered by the Seaside rep.) was resetting a switch on the A/C unit. So they saved me around $700.

I tried to get four different quotes. I had only one other company actually show up. They never provided a quote and never followed through. The other two were slow to even return my calls and never came out and I never got a quote. So Seaside was most responsive. Victor is the owner and he was very professional. He came out right away, the same day I called and gave me the diagnosis as well as my quotes I think, within 12 hours. I think the very next morning I had a quote. And then after pushing on him on the schedule because it was urgent, because we had guests coming into town he actually really worked hard to accommodate us and install within a week on the day before my guests were arriving. In that regard they were fantastic, in just overall service and responsiveness.

Made an appointment within 2 days of call. This was a Saturday, but no extra charge. Completed the work timely, and did not attempt to up sell anything else. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

I had done some research and diagnosis myself and I was pretty sure what the problem was and had priced some logic boards so I had an idea of the cost. I initially was going to buy the board and have him install it. He gave me some valid arguments about why I shouldnt do that and it was mainly regarding the warranty. After thinking it over and seeing the price he gave me it was a no brainer, Especially after gettng the angies list discount. The savings was just about 50%.

It was okay. We spent an extra $175 because we had to pay for the thermostat.
