They sent us 4 recommendations and Mike Council was the only one that persisted in contacting us. They did offer its own recommendation to do the job for $253. Mike Counsil asked $404 to install a faucet I had already procured. The work was done well, but it seemed expensive for 112 hours work.

Showed up on time. Respectful. Diagnosed initial problem with the understanding that if it wasn't fixed, what the next step would be and cost.

Be very careful with this company. They are very professional and might I add slick. They respond quickly and compassionately. I called them the first time and they diagnosed that roots had blocked my main sewer line. They showed me pictures I could not possibly evaluate. Cost $17,000. They started the work and then couldnâ t do the main part because they were too busy so I had to wait 3-4 weeks for them to finish the job. A few months later I had a plugged toilet and called them again. Diagnosis, old pipes that needed to be replaced because they couldnâ t open the line. Cost $24,000 and they could start the next day (with free financing no less). I obtained another opinion from another plumber who opened the line in 2 minutes. He looked at the pipes and remarked yes the pipes are old, you have a 50 year old house, what do you expect. I asked him what it would cost to replace the pipes and I was quoted $14,000. But no need. Everything has been fine for the last 6 months. By the way the first job they did, which I still wonder if it was necessary, was done poorly where they didnâ t compact the dirt down properly and after the rain left a large sinkhole. Bottom line, stay away from these guys and if you do call them make sure to get a second opinion as we are all at mercy to their diagnoses. I know, Iâ m a doctor but I have ethical standards. Iâ m not sure about these guys. Buyer beware.

Mike Council stands behind their work. They are right there for you even a year after there work is done. No charge to check out a concern. Love them.

Tim and Heber were prompt, polite, professional. They not only fixed my drain blockage, and cleaned up the mess from the overflow, but took pains to explain to me clearly and cogently (with photos) where the problem was, and what would need to be done to fix the underlying problems. They exemplify competency, communicativity, and courtesy.

They were very fast and very professional! I even got a price break because I had already purchased the needed part. I will be calling them for my future plumbing needs. The float shut off valve, inside the tank, wouldn’t shut off the water to the tank. I got the part and was going to reinstall myself, but because of Back surgery I decided I better get a Pro. Don’t want this risk screwing up my back. He did the replacement in a fraction of the time I would have needed. I definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Install of water heater uneventful, wonderful job. Quick response and whole job from first call to inspection very quick too-1 week-install of water heater the next day! All around very knowledgeable, seemed like he was mentoring someone and was doing a great job of that too :). Btw, finished product looked like a job on â this old house,â in all its shiny copper glory lol

Prompt, responsive, and competitive. Installers were efficient and professional. Wrong model water heater was initially delivered, but the team worked quickly to secure a correct replacement and completed the install the following day.

They installed a new sewer line and water line without digging up the front yard.

Very good, no problems

I waited almost 10 minutes on the phone when trying to schedule a return visit due to a minor problem with the initial work. I thought she forgot me so I hung up. Even though my phone # was given to the lady I spoke with, she didn't call back. So I called back later and had to give the info all over again and was told I had to wait until the following day to know when a technician could come. This was not a positive experience. Another negative: the price quoted was 20% higher than two other plumbers' quotes. On the positive side, both techs were very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable enough. They were neatly dressed and wore masks and shoe covers and were careful about their work. I would hire them again.

Mike was great. He was able to provide me a reasonable quote for the job and start on it write away. He even made some great suggestions for how to integrate existing filters into my new water softener. I would hire Mike again for sure.

Fast response and work were well done, but pricey. Also, the first truck out did not have the necessary equipment, so had to wait for a second one to come. Would have given a 4.5 - 5 except for the price. After being contact about price being more than initial phone call statement, I was refunded $89.

This is the second time we have use Mike Counsil. Their work is very good, their prices are a bit high.

Prompt response and good communication throughout. Be advised that they charge by the job and not an hourly rate. Worked out well for me as some minor complications meant that the job took longer than they expected but no added fee.
