Description of Work: My a/c needed a service call that was long overdue, mainly due to the high price of power. But I also needed some investigation into the cause of a leak from the attic space, which is above my living area, down to the garage below my condo. I didn't use my a/c for nearly a year because I feared the worst. However my technician Enrique discovered a "minor" error in the installation: an end cap that wasn't threaded on correctly and allowed the overflow condensation to leak out. Since I hadn't used the unit before to the extent to cause a significant amount of condensation it didn't appear until using it during a 100 degree heat wave. But low and behold that's what the issue turned out to be. No leaks, running like a champ and I'm comfortable once again. Very pleased and I will definitely call Carini's in the future for service and any repairs.

Description of Work: bought a deal for air conditioner tune up...great price, great service very professional. Told us the issue with our a/c was we needed new duct system and vents moved. Totally correct. They gave us an estimate that was much higher than other estimates we received so we went with another company for the work.

Description of Work: After 3 other quotes, we decided to go with Carini to install a new A/C at our condo. Carini Heating & Air was expensive but we felt we could trust them, and overall they did a good job. My only issue was that, when the job was complete, we started to smell gas in our garage and had to call them to come back out and replace a bad part they had installed. OCcasionally, I still smell a faint hint of gas in the garage but cannot be sure if it is something they did wrong or just something wrong with our furnace. Overall, the job was done quickly and we have a new a/c.

Description of Work: We purchased an a/c tuneup thru Angies List for $85. During the service, it was discovered that the 11 yr old a/c needed a new control panel (a/c had not been turning on). The cost for a new panel was $396. The technician also told us that our electric air cleaner had not been turned on and thus was not working. Last year we had ASI Hasting perform the tune up, and the tech never mentioned this! Carini had to order the part and return a few days later. They were efficient, expediant, professional and the technician "Bowen" was particularly impressive and the next time we use Carini, we will specifically ask for him.
