Bought a one year service contract for my house in Rocklin CA and Beutler did service our 2 heaters then in season we arranged service on our 2 air conditioners they scheduled an appointment on the old contract and was convinced (my fault) into a $606 new 2 yr service contract but they said they would still service the air on the old contract. Shortly after they called and rescheduled the appointment, then before the next appointment they rescheduled again. Then on the day of the next appointment they rescheduled to a new time that day. Finally they called to reschedule again. My wife had to cancel plans to help watch our son in law's children, he is a fire captain who was badly burned fighting fires for CALFIRE and needs many appointments but she and he would have to arrange a new schedule each time Beutler rescheduled. Due to Beautlers repeated failure to provide any service on the new contract we asked for a full refund of the $606 . They sent a partial refund of only $454.50 without any explanation on why they did not provide a full refund without providing any service. Then they misspelled our last name making the partial refund useless.

Beutler installed a new air conditioner 4 years ago, the good news is I signed a service contract for yearly inspections, sort of. Last year, the inspector said everything was fine, a week later when I was having problems, the technician said I was totally out of refrigerant, needed a new coil installed to replacing leaking one, ducts were not properly attached. Took a month, to get everything fixed, several canceled appointments. This year, Beutler confirmed the appointment on Monday for the next day. The next day, after the first call due to the technician not showing up and being told he would be there later, the second call I was told I did not have an appointment. When the technician arrived the next day, again, tried to tell me ducts were not properly connected when I asked why they were not done right when the unit was installed, he said connecting ducts to the unit was not part of the installation - say what? I am tired of Beutler missing appointments and not telling me until I call, trying to upsell me on things I think they should have done right the first time. I have got three pages of typed notes detailing missed appointments, phone calls, documentation of improperly done work.

We recently had Beutler replace both our heating and air conditioning systems. They were fantastic. They got it all done in one day!! We have good, quality systems now that do an amazing job more efficiently. I recommend Beutler to other homeowners. We also have them come regularly to inspect our systems. The best part was when the City of Sacramento came and inspected their work. The Inspector let us know that Beutler did an excellent job. It was neat, clean, and very well done. I don't know what they inspect, but everything passed with high marks! That really made us feel good. Thank you to Beutler for taking good care with our large investment for our home.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I have been with them since we bought our home in the fall of 2005. had a problem 2 months after moving in. NO heat. Furnace will not start up. This problem has been going on ever since. They replaced the mother board and few other things at great expense. For the last 4 years or so they have been saying we need to replace the furnace. (I purchased the 3 year maintance in april, which I have purchased ever since the warranty ran out) so a week before the service date, it was not working again. they moved up my service date. (that was a good thing) Service man came out, after checking the furnace, he told me and its working now but I do not know how long. You need a new furnace.and as he was talking it stopped working. After setting an appointment for someone to come out and talk to me about a new furnace, he said &4; let see if I can find a screw in my truck. When the furnace starts up, it shakes and something comes to lose and it stops worming. Me ??? ok, but that did not make any sense. He did install a screw. he did not do the service on the furnace, as he said, *no sense in doing the service, it needs to be replaced* I took him at his word. after he left I called someone else for a 2nd opinion. 2nd opinion: The screw should have been put in under the plug when the furnace was installed as the plug is large and heavy. there is a place under the plug where this screw should have been installed years ago. Also, the furnace was not installed correctly. There is a pipe that goes from one side to the other. one side of the furnace was installed to low. so, this pipe had a bend in it. causing water to collect and then the furnace would not work till the water dried up. he did show me pictures. he was able to fix the problem, by cutting and silicone. the other fix would have been to raise the whole furnace. so, from day one they did not install it correctly. They also did not know what was causing it not to work for all these years. I trusted them. Now I just want others to know. Get a 2 or 3rd option. I am old, and had to get the big heavy latter and take the filter out and clean it myself. I call beutler and complained, cancelled and I want my money back for the 3 year maintance plan I bought in april. and I do not want to pay for the non-service call that was not done. I was told it could take 30 days. so we will see, this is not over yet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND JUST WANT TO SELL YOU A NEW FURNACE. one more thing, no one has called me about this. You would think the company would be concerned. I think I go to Home Depot and tell them my story

Took 6 days to get working properly. Had wiring issues. ended up rewiring the whole system. Was compensated back money and extended the warranty from 1 to 5 years for my inconvenience.

Communication was very clear and helpful as it was over the mobile phone. Huratio was very patient with me and working with him on the site and me providing information over the mobile worked well. He came on Sunday and got the job done and kept the residents in service. This is a rental and rentals need prompt attention. I will call them again.

If you're considering buying their preventative maintenance plan, save your money. It is not worth the headache and lost time from work. In cancelling and rescheduling appointments, this company has cost me over $300. They are rude on the phone, don't arrive within the stated time, cancel and reschedule you continually. The work varies tremendously. Farid did my HVAC service and he was amazing! The team of 2 men who cleaned the ducts in my house did a good job but didn't arrive on time. I had to reschedule and then they were rude to me about it. The tech who came out to service my AC literally stuck his head up into the attic space, looked side to side, and they called that "inspection and servicing." I had to argue with them that it wasn't actually serviced. They finally agreed to "give" me another AC service, but then refused to schedule it until the forecast showed at least 1 full week without a day of triple digit weather so that they could be prepared for emergency calls. To heck with the person who paid them upfront! When I scheduled to get my plumbing inspected and serviced, they cancelled at the last minute because they "received too many emergency calls" and "didn't have an available plumber." The amount of vacation time wasted trying to get the services I already paid for is more than double the cost of the plan. My friend in Roseville has had an amazing experience with Beutler, but the Sacramento team is worthless.

The repair tech arrive in the first hour of a 4 hour window. He repaired the AC quickly. He explained what he was doing and showed what was wrong with the AC and what repair he did. The final repair cost was a bit high but I did get the AC back on what turned out to be the first day of a heat wave.
