I believe the water heater specialist, who is Steve Burlison, installed the water heater. He was a very knowlegable and a professional individual. The work done was just perfect! I would highly recommend him & his company for any work.

Steve (#1061959) arrived at the exact time scheduled. He introduced himself and informed me of everything he planned on doing. Asked if I had any questions and knowledgeably addressed them. He was punctual, polite, professional, knowledgeable and did a high quality installation. It was refreshing to have a job handled above and beyond my expectations!!!

The service was excellent from the first phone call to the installation. Both Paul M. and Alex were very patient and informative. Alex did the installation and we couldn't have been happier. He answered every question we had, made sure we knew what we were getting and that it met our needs. He was pleasant, efficient and did a great job.

They were very knowledgeable and professional over the phone. Steve arrived within an hour of my call. He too was professional and knowledgeable, very nice. He showed me the rust at on the top of the heater and discussed the options- having a unit that stands on the floor or having one on a stand. He discussed what was involved with having the floor unit which I decided to go with. Installation took just as long as he estimated. Steve cleaned up the floor around the work area and left everything in order. He showed me how to operate the unit and answered all my questions. I was having an open house so he had to work around some traffic but he took it all in stride. I was extremely pleased with the quality of work, and the professionalism. Steve was awesome! Water Heaters Only is on my personal list of preferred providers!

Water Heaters Only is outstanding. This is is the third time that we have used their services on 3 separate issues. Each time we were extremely pleased with their prompt service, prices and quality of work. In this case the water heater failed on a weekend. Their man Kevin came out on a Sunday, assessed the job and then returned with the new water heater and all the extra fittings needed to bring the installation up to current code. He was fast, efficient and very skilled. Plus he is a really nice guy. The entire process was everything you would want in a "please restore our hot water" crisis. We recommend Water Heaters Inc wholeheartedly! 5 star service and quality all around! Plus no extra charge for Sunday service! What a pleasant surprise. Appliances and water heaters seem to aways know when its the weekend - and choose that time to fail.

They were good. The price for what I got was reasonable and they came promptly. The guy was efficient and professional.

They gave me a quote over the phone for 1200-1400 dollars but said it would be more if any additional work had to be done, appointment was scheduled within two days of my call, a two hour window was set up and Toa called that morning to tell me he would be there in about a half an hour. He showed up within the half hour took a look at my hot water heater and told me what he wanted to do wihich included adding a drip pan, which it didn't have, changing out hoses and valves which I knew where quite old and having the hoses drain outside. He finished up in a few hours and everything was cleaned up. He explained to me what he had done and where I could locate all of the information on the hot water heater and how to shut everything off. This was a great experience with both the operators on the phone when I called and Toa. Everyone was polite and the price came in with what I was quoted since they did have to do some additional replacements. I would recommed them to anyone who is looking to replace their hot water heater

Toa arrived right on time and took special care not to damage the recently painted garage floor and walls. He suggested replacing the water inlet valve to the tank which we always had a hard time turning and were afraid it would snap. The new valve is a lever type and much very easy to open and close. He estimated the replacement would take 2 hours and he finished right on time. Other reviewers gave costs of $1200-1400, so thought the price a tad high but I would use again and recommend.

Last weekend I noticed some leakage under my water heater; it appeared to be coming from the bottom of the unit. My first concern was clearing a path through my garage to the heater (I've had to temporarily store some things in the garage). I took half a day to rearrange the garage and then started searching on the internet and Angie's List for water heater installers and reviews. On Sunday I phoned "Water Heaters Only" to get an estimate of cost and how soon they could do the work; Ken R. was patient and helpful. He advised that a technician could help me the next day: Monday Oct 6th between 1 & 3 PM. John A. phoned around noon on Monday to let me know that he would be at my place within the hour. John took his time answering questions and discussing what he thought needed doing. The last time the heater failed was 11 years ago, on a Sunday, just a couple of days before Christmas. At that time, I felt that I needed to act quickly and (due to the busy holidays) went to a local store to buy a new heater and installed it myself. I got the job done, but decided that I'd hire someone the next time. John did a very professional job, redoing the earthquake strap and bracing, adding a sediment trap on the gas line, and at my request, a drip pan under the heater (in addition to cutting the copper drain pipe to make it the correct height, and added grounding wires). The technician, John A. acted friendly and professional; it was a quality installation. I would have no hesitation recommending "Water Heaters Only" based on my experience with them.

We first used Water Heaters Only in 1996 when our home's original water heater needed to be replaced. They took good care of us then and on a subsequent recall repair in 2001. When I noticed a leak, I knew exactly who to call. They had someone at my door in just a few hours. Our technician, Loni, was professional and efficient. He explained all my options and the related costs. He installed a drip pan and heavy duty earthquake straps

Our hot water heater went out Saturday afternoon. I called and we were scheduled in the Sunday 8am - 11am slot the next day. The technician, Steve, called at 9am and told us he would be there by 10 am. He arrived at 9:40 am. We looked at the heater and he explained that the inside liner had cracked (that's why water was dribbling out of the heater) and making hissing sounds. He gave us a quote and had 2-3 replacement heaters on his truck. The price he quoted for the hot water heater itself is what we would have paid had we picked it up ourselves. He hauled the old one out, installed the new one and was out before lunch. No muss, no fuss, no problems. He vacuumed up around the area where he removed the old heater so we wouldn't have to clean up after he left.

Our water heater developed a leak and broke down on Thursday the 11th of September 2014. I called three companies and water heater's only had a good price on the Rheem model I was interested in. One thing though, the quote price on the phone was 100 $ less than the actual price. Nevertheless, the price was very competitive and the Technician Loni who came out was very professional and competent and got the new water heater installed in an hour.The quality of the work was excellent. Will definitely recommend this company to my friends.

It went excellent. The mechanic was Mark out of LA. Hee was on time and was very compentent and professional.

I am very happy with prompt and courteous service John A provided. He reviewed the water heater and we discussed problem problems to look out for. He gave me an estimate for replacement and explained and documented what would be included with installing the new water heater. He answered all my questions knowledgeably and honestly. If I need a replacement, I will certainly call Water Heaters Only, Inc and ask for John A.

After repeated calls to our usual plumber asking for a written estimate and explanation of work to be done, without success, I found Water Heaters Only online on Angies List and gave them a call. Paul was happy to answer my questions and tell me exactly how they do things, scheduling a technician for the following day to come to our home and take a look. Matt showed up on time, was very clear in his explanation of what needed to be upgraded/replaced, wrote up a detailed estimate w/i 15 minutes and gave us what we knew to be a very fair price. Installation was the following day, Matt did a great job cleaning up the old installation with new pipes and fittings and a much better job of securing the new water heater than before as well. Never thought I'd say this but our new water heater is a thing of beauty now! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul and Matt at Water Heaters Only and I can only assume the rest of their technicians would do an equally good and honest job.

My older (20+ yrs.) tankless water heater wasn't modulating gas flow anymore so it was time for a new one. Kevin W. and Alex B. worked on Saturday to replace it. Water Heaters Only keeps regular weekend hours which was a big plus for me since I didn't have to take time off work. One had arrived promptly at our agreed time to start removal of the old system while the other was getting the needed parts from the warehouse. This heater required a special vent to replace the old one so some roofing work had to be performed (new roof jack, taping joints and sealing). They listened to my concerns about the roof and took care not to walk over areas that I thought might be adversely affected. There was also input I gave during the job which I felt if I hadn't been around would have resulted in the heater mounted such that its closet door wouldn't have closed. Suggestions were well-accepted and they were both courteous and professional. Kevin W. was very knowledgable about the heater and provided information freely. There was a point when a pump was needed to test pressurize the gas lines. Their pump had failed so a run to a hardware store was required. That there were two working to complete the job allowed one of them to stay and continue. This was much appreciated as it enabled the job to be done on time. As originally advised the job took the entire day and they left the site clean and also removed my old heater and vent parts.

Our gas-fired water heater had been going downhill for months, with less and less output. Since it was around 15 years old, we knew it was time to replace it. I called Water Heaters Only on Sunday expecting to schedule somebody for later in the week, but they said a tech was available that afternoon at no extra charge for weekend service. He showed up on time. He had the brand of heater we wanted (Rheem) on his truck, so he was able to get started right away. The installation was a bit challenging, because the heater closet was designed for a 40-gallon unit, and we wanted our 50 gallon replaced, so it was a tight fit. But he was able to make it work, and the workmanship looked great when he was finished. Everything was cleaned up, and he took care of disposing the old unit. So far it's working great, and the family squabbles about who "used up" the hot water are over. I can't believe we got this completely taken care of with one phone call on a Sunday.

Steve Burlison came to give estimate in the late afternoon Monday and installed a new water heater first thing on Tuesday. He was on time, explained all the required work, and was very professional. Total install was 4 hours, which included slight relocation of the unit. Water heater was not the cheapest quote, but their professionalism was worth the extra money. Sam Stewart

The serviceman called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived within the first hour of the 4 hour window I was given. He was courteous and professional in all respects. It took him very few minutes to diagnosis the issue and fix it. My only criticism is with the price. I would have thought the $250. fair had they been able to come on Sunday when I called. But it seems pricey for a next day scheduled appointment that literally took a half hour to repair with a ~$20 part. That being said they did charge me exactly what I was quoted when I scheduled the appointment.

The only improvement I would suggest, is to make sure to communicate clearly to the customer that the water needs to be turned off completely and not turned on at all while work is in progress. I had asked if we needed to turn the water off and was told it was ok to have it on. So my son got into the shower thinking it was ok to shower. Not! Water started pouring out of the hot water heater pipe connection and onto the floor of the water closet. However, in the end everything was cleaned up and the rest is history.

Prompt and professional service. Arrived as scheduled and quickly took care of replacing our water heater. Would use again.

Water Heaters Only provided us a quote to install a new hot water heater. We had them come install a new 50 gallon traditional hot water heater one month later. The service was excellent, from being on time for the scheduled appointment, to doing everything that was quoted in a very professional and timely manner. Our new hot water is working great and we would absolutely recommend Water Heaters Only to other prospective customers.

Right before we were to leave on a trip, our water heater sprung a leak, with water gushing all over the basement. The plumber I phoned offered to replace it for a very high amount. Even though it was the Sunday before Labor Day and they had to work in a flooded basement, the Water Heaters Only guy gave us a much better price and did the job that day. A few weeks later, they sent me a small refund saying they had overcharged us.
