Description of Work: Replaced A/C compressor, clutch, dryer for $1,200. Worked for 5 months then returned for diagnosis. They wanted another $400 to replace O-ring seal at condenser. Initial repair on blown compressor was overpriced about 100%. To fix the leak at condenser was overpriced 200%. Never will return there for another ream job. Nail me once, shame on me. Nail twice, ain't gonna happen.

 + -1 moreWhen the A/C in my truck stopped working, I was very concerned that I was going to spend a fortune getting it fixed. I called YLAS and spoke with Dan and he said I could bring the truck in right away. When I got there, Miles was very helpful in explaining what they would look at and that they would call with an estimate. In a couple of hours, Miles called and said 2 things needed to be replaced and gave me a quote of $1700. I authorized the repairs and a little later that afternoon, Dan called and said the technician found that 1 of the parts was actually ok and gave me the final bill of $686. When I picked up my truck, the A/C was working great! I am very impressed with their high quality work (they even give a 3 yr/36,000 warranty on their work) and their integrity!

 + -1 moreHonest, honest, honest!!!! I've lived in Maine, Oregon and now CA, and I have never run across a more professional and honest auto repair shop in the country. Miles was the front end guy who gave me the confidence to say I'll be going back to YLAS whenever I have an auto servide need in the future. If you are looking for professional and honest auto service, you cannot go wrong with the team at YLAS.
Description of Work: I came in thinking the car was beyond repair, but I left with only a new water pump and replaced belts. They gave me an honest quote and made me a life time customer. They replaced a few other things as well, and he car now runs better than new.

 + -1 moreThe mechanics are very up front about any situation and have a great sense of humor. They have always been very honest and reliable too. The shop is very conveniently located for me also.
Description of Work: I took in my 1999 Ford Explorer for the 90,000 mile check up. They performed a diagnostic, major tune up, tire rotation, oil change, transmission fluid change and spark plug change. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the evening.
