Mike was sent out to determine the cause of a vibrating noise coming from my furnace. He said the motor needed to be replaced at an estimated cost of $500. Mya later quoted an actual price of $685 after two discounts, I agreed to have the work done. Alex, the technician, came out to do the installation, he was on time and had the part with him. He listened to the furnace, and said it was not the motor, but rather the blower assembly, which he did not bring. The cost for this work would be $600 after discounts. Fortunately, I already had an estimate, from Kahn A/C, to do this job for $367.77. Around The Clock then agreed to do the work for the same price. The work was completed, but there is still some, although less noise. Alex then indicated that the motor also needed to be changed. I decided to accept the lower level of noise, and send Around The Clock home.

They arrived on time, hardly took a break, and seemed to work very hard. Originally they were only supposed to replace the equipment, but they found that a handyman I had, had crushed several duct runs under the house. The owner made a special trip out to the house with new ducting which they replaced. The crew stayed late well after dark to finish the job so we would have heat which was great because it has been so cold at night.

They were very thorough and very good, cleaned up after the work and the supervisor visited our house at the end to check the work and show us how to work the system. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Although he reminded me of the need to have an old furnace checked regularly by the gas company for possible cracks or corrosion, he did not try to scare me into buying a new one.

Estimated time of arrival between 1100am-2pm. Leon arrived at 1130am looked at the heater and gave estimate and completed the work by 1150am.

Our heating wasn't working and we had been told by another company that we would have to put in a new system and it would cost about $5000. Around The Clock came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and it cost us $250. A few days later we had an unrelated problem and they came out again and fixed it for $150. Both times the serviceman came at the appointed time, was very pleasant, explained the problem(s) in a way I could understand and completed the work in under an hour. I highly, highly recommend this company!

I hired this company to do two things: to move the air return from one room to somewhere else in the house, and to make my a/c system quiet. I was told that it would be no problem to move the air return, and that the solution to solve my noise problem was to buy a smaller, less powerful a/c unit. However, during the course of installation, they determined that they could not move the air return but did notify me of this. Also, the new unit, while quieter, was by no means quiet. In the end, I wound up without the air return being moved, without a quiet system, and without properly balanced airflow though out the house. Instead, they were now blaming the noise on the ducting in my home rather than the a/c unit. Had they said this in the beginning I would have kept my old a/c unit and had them address the ducts instead. Essentially they sold me something I didn't need and refuse to address the problem that I originally asked them to address. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

The repair turned out to be only a relay that needed to be reset. There were, in fact, two such relays and the guy discovered the second box behind the house that we were unaware of. Their repairman became very angry at being called for only a relay switch. Had we known about the 2nd circuit box this would not have been an issue, but he didn't seem to believe us. We paid him his $175 and expected some professionalism but none came.

The installation and service were fine and I wrote a good report for them. However, I had problems with the system soon after. The unit started leaking and I was charged $95 to clean out the drain line. I was told the line was cleaned out on the day of the installation a month before and I didn't see how it could have already become clogged. I paid it. Then when it started to get cold I turned on the heater and got nothing. I called the company back again and was charged $65 for them to tell me the circuit board had been damaged by water. This would cost an additional $650 to replace. They should have checked the unit when I called about the leak during the summer. I didn't replace the circuit board and am now looking for a new company to deal with. I am very unhappy that I went with them after all. I would never use them again. And now I have no heat.

Wow! This contracting job was a delight, from the moment that Yuri Spector called to make an appointment. Of several different companies we interviewed and solicited bids from, this was a shining example of a representative giving a complete education about HVAC without trying to sell us something we didn't need. Yuri was patient, listened to all our concerns, and when the bids came, pointed out to us how we could get manufacturers' rebates totaling $4000 on the equipment. The workers did the installation in two days; arriving on time, they were constantly working, except for lunch. All the crew were courteous, and the primary 2 of 3 spoke very adequate English. They were very professional and resourceful at all times, responded to all of our questions and concerns; Yuri was available by phone and stopped by several times to check on progress and at the end he instructed us on the equipment. Each day they cleaned up almost perfectly after themselves; Al, the boss visited us at the end.

The gentleman who gave me the bid was friendly. But, he did not go up in the attic. His quote was quick and 40% more than I ended up paying.

Excellent. The repairman, Eric, arrived on time. He listened to my description of the problem. He tested the various elements involved, using proper testing equipment, and discovered very quickly what the problem was. He fixed it in about a half hour.

Great experience. Yuri took the time to explain our options to us and the quote came in significantly lower than another one we had gotten. He said the install would take 2-3 days, but they finished in only 1 1/2, which was great.

The A/C guy was terrific. Prompt, polite and saved me a bundle of money. I'm sold on this company and switching from the other company to do my maintenance.

We had a long phone conversation last night to schedule. They called today and told me they did not service my area. It was a waste of time.

Showed up on time. Seemed honest. Spent a lot of time at the house and wasn't in a hurry to leave. Thoroughly tested the equipment.

The company had a cancellation and was able to come the day after I called. They arrived on time and explained what was needed very clearly. The repairman sent for a new unit so the repairs could be done the same day. He was polite, efficient, and the cost was very reasonable.

They were life savers. In a sweltering heat wave, when other repair people were backed up for weeks. This company sent someone out in 24 hours (and on a Saturday). They were on time (even early)and instead of installing a whole new unit, which I was sure I needed and that would have cost thousands, they were able to repair my unit on the spot and I had a working air conditioner in no time!

This service was great. I telephoned early on a Wednesday morning. After three days with no air conditioning during a heat wave, I had cool air within hours of calling. The service representative was professional and cleaned up the area of tools and debris when the job was completed.

Our A/C died on a Saturday when the temperature outside was over 105 degrees. I called AROUND THE CLOCK HEATING & A/C INC on Sunday morning and Irene promised to send someone to checkout the A/C between 12 noon and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Igor showed up at 4:00 pm on Sunday and gave me my options. I decided to replace the old unit which was over 25 years old with a new unit. Igor promised he will be at home Monday morning to replace it. When I came home during my lunch break around 12:00 noon on Monday everything was completed and the house was nice and cool. Excellent experience with AROUND THE CLOCK HEATING & A/C INC and I highly recommend it to anyone. I called a few other companies which promised Emergency Service, but no other company even called me. Very satisfied customer.

Representative Eric walked in, said nothing was wrong with my A/C, was here 10-15 minutes. He said I was not entitled to the $20 off coupon because he didn't do any work and charged me the full $85. The time from when I called to when he arrived was one hour. During that time I pulled the plug on my A/C, waited a few minutes and put the plug back in. According to Eric I ''fixed my own A/C'' tho he didn't understand how and I was not entitled to any discount on the service call because he didn't do any work. Since he did no work and was in the immediate vicinity anyway, I feel it would have been a gesture of good will and public relations for future business to at least honor their coupon.

They were very quick to tell me that I had to replace the Unit and from then on tried to sell me the most expensive unit and it would necesitate making modifications to our exisiting a/c roof platform. Their quote was more than $1,000 more than a comparable unit installed by another company.

Old air conditioner went out at my elderly parents house late Fri. (He s 92, she had cataract surgery that morning.) Called company Sat morning, chosen because they were nearby with Sat hours, emergency service, good reports. They said 2-5 PM, called at 3:30 & arrived less than 10 min. later. Two gentlemen checked whole system, found it had to be replaced but were able to do temporary work-around wiring repair to fan. Eric said he d order new system Mon morning, delivered Tues, try to clear time on Wed to install it. Mother begged for sooner rather than later due to father s health. Surprised to get a call late Mon. morning that new unit would arrive shortly & they would come at 2 PM to install it. They arrived promptly and worked straight through the blazing hot afternoon to install it. Parents thrilled with excellent service and cost of new system ($1000 rebate coupon on their website). Special thanks to Eric for seeing they got priority service in their emergency situation.
