We were very satisfied with the service that they provided us. We haven't had any problems with our unit. They showed up on time and they were great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I don't remember how much they charged us for all the work they did.

The estimator and installation service representative was awesome. They were very polite and courteous in their actions and response to me as a customer. However, the gentleman that did the installation didn't appear knowledgeable on the scope of installing the unit in the selected location. Based on his expertise, he should have been able to make some determination. He appeared very unsure and perplexed. The Installation Service Representative didn't provide notification on one day he failed to appear to perform work and wasn't very apologetic.

Called 3pm on a Friday, Eric showed up at 5:50pm. I told him I wanted to fix some drainage issues with the A/C condensation pan and check the refrigerant level. He said he only does repairs - the drainage issues should be handled by a plumber and if the system was producing any cold air, the refrigerant must be fine. I mentioned the fan doesn't always cycle off, he said he could fix that. After about 20 minutes of labor we were done. Asked about standing pools of smelly water and major rust in the metal condensation pan, was told the entire air handler would need to be replaced at $3K and why was I worried about it anyway? "Run it until it leaks" I was told. Asked if he would look at the compressor on the roof. He said he didn't need to because the refrigerant pipe felt cold to the touch. Asked if he would clean the coils and oil the motors. He said they didn't need any service. He was a perfectly reasonable guy, not angry at all, he just wanted to get out of there ASAP.

The receptionist told me they would charge $85 per heater to come out and give an estimate. When I asked why it would be so much to take a look at 2 small wall heaters she then said she didn't think they worked on that type of heater. I attempted to describe them (they are not old and are VERY common and I can't imagine any heating company wouldn't service them) and instead of checking with anyone to be sure, she simply said she didn't think they serviced those types. That was it - no double checking with techs no real interest in helping me. My feeling is if they don't put the effort into training and hiring quality "front of house" help I wouldn't want to bother finding out how bad their techs are.

Overall, we're happy. The sales process was very smooth. Someone came out on a Saturday who was very personable, but not unnervingly slow for a salesperson. He had the team in by Wednesday or Thursday of the following week. The people doing the work seemed like they could use a little oversight. They ended up doing a little damage to our downstairs ceilings, but were quick to take responsibility for it. I had some concerns about how they left things in the attic, but the company was quick to send the guys back out to address any concerns I have. Although it took a couple follow-up trips to fix their damage and my follow-ups, we were done within a month of initiating the work.

Igor was professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. I found the price fair.

The service man arrived on time. He was polite, friendly and well groomed. He worked efficiently and answered all my questions. He checked all the vents for a temperature reading after adding the freon to the A/C-Heating unit (a large unit in the house, not a window unit), and offered to help put back all the things I moved so he could reach the unit.

They were great, completed the job fast and were very nice to work with and would use them again.

Leon arrived on time; was very speedy. Found the circuit breaker, turned it off, and then on again. Left no mess; was polite. Knew exactly what needed to be done. I had a previous estimate of $3500.00. So, needless to say, I was extremely happy.

Found a small leak and advised us to try to patch this leak and re-fill unit with freon. I very much appreciated that the serviceman was working to help us, i.e., find a low cost solution to our problem before recommending a more costly fix (e.g., replacing the condenser). I have had many experiences with other companies in general (not for this particular problem) in which the company is quick to recommend an expensive solution that is foremost to their own benefit. Around The Clock, on the other hand, was looking to help my wife and I fix the problem in a logical manner.

Al, from Around the Clock was terrific. He kept calling until I made the decision to go ahead with the project. He found some ways to save me money and even supplied the forms I needed at the end of the project to apply for rebates from the local utilities. He and his workers showed up when they said they would and one evening stayed late to finish getting the heater working. It had been surprisingly cold the night before and I had been forced to bundle up without the heater. When a plug came loose after the installation, Al wasted no time coming over to fix it.

It was a great experience. I called at 8:40 this morning because our a/c was not working, and a rep was out within an hour and a half. It is now 10:36 and the work is done. Problem was a wire which was promptly fixed. We are very happy as it would not be difficult for a repairman to have taken advantage of the situation and done more work than was needed. We will use them in the future to upgrade our systems. One of the best experiences we've had with a contractor.

These guys were the best; are the best. Called for an estimate and they came out right away. They were also able to schedule installation for both within about a weeks time. The team that did the water heater and the AC were so friendly, funny and most of all knew what they were doing. They had no problem with me being nosy and driving them crazy about what they were doing. We had a problem with one of our faucets afterwards and they promptly came back out to clear the problem. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I called this company to get an estimate on replacing our heater and ducting as well as installing air conditioning. They said someone would be at our house between 12 and 3 on April 4, 2007. No one showed up, so I called the company at 3:00. The person in the office said he would try to reach the assigned technician and call me back. It is now April 8. I haven't yet received that phone call.

They are a major contender for system replacement.

Excellent from start to finish. The salesperson, the installers, and the owner were superb in their service and. The installation was somewhat more complicated and took longer than originally anticipated, but they did not ask for any extra money and did it all with the highest degree of competence and courtesy.

I called Around the Clock at about 1 pm and he was here by 2! He went to pick up the new equipment, returned, and had our system up and operating beautifully by 5. He replaced the filter, vacuumed the closet the unit is in. He was polite, analyzed and communicated the problem clearly, and could not have been more professional.

I called to request an estimate. I wrote down 2pm in my notebook and when no one was here by 3pm, I walked out to run a quick errand, forgetting my cell phone at home. The estimator showed up while I was gone (20 minutes) and a friend at the house took the card for me to call and reschedule. I called the number to reschedule and was subjected to a screaming woman who claimed that my friend claimed to be my mother (?!?), that my appointment was for a three hour window (2-5pm), at which point I apologize for my misunderstanding, and on going accusatory comments along the lines of "why don't you have your phone with you", etc. I asked her to stop yelling and explained I was calling per the card to reschedule; she said impossible. I finally hung up on her still screaming. I prefer to not do business this way. Shockingly unprofessional and crazy, frankly. Avoid this if you want to deal with reasonable rational people.

Everything went according to schedule. Two days for complete installation plus a third for electrical panel.

Terrific job. When we encountered problems Al, the boss, assured me that they would fix the problem. He came out in person on a Saturday to insure that the job was completed to our satisfaction.

Very poorly. They could've had this bid for a job that was estimated between $5000-10,000. And yet, even though they were to perform a test to determine the necessary repairs, they didn't show up. Without my knowing, they decided they did not want to do the job. This is the most unprofessional heating/ac company in Los Angeles.

It went well. I used this company because the previous owner used them to install and maintain the system. They had all the previous work filed, so it helped with continuing the maintenance. I also purchased the maintanance service, so i spent a little more, but this way they will upkeep my system-air purifying systems must be maintained. He spent at least an hour, and he was very polite and quiet (kids were sleeping). I recommend them. so far so good.

Fabulous. From the time I called in to the time it was done it was less than 24 hours. I am so glad that Westside Village put Angie's List in the newsletter.

It is astonishing how wonderful this co is. The crew (headed by Matt) never stopped working. Even their lunch was only 20 min. They suggested things that meant more work for them, at no extra charge, even though I didn't think I needed it (they were right). More important, they knew what they were doing. Air-cond. and heating is so complicated, they are NATE certified, and it showed. They managed to do a very complicated job in a day and a half (estimated 2 full). The system itself is so quiet. Al Uchitel said he used Lennox systems because it is the best, and IMO Around the clock is the best..re: pricing. Frankly, I am not sure if I could've gotten this for less, I know I couldn't have gotten the same amount of confidence or a faster install with other co's, which is worth any premium I may or may not have paid...I only wish they did windows, floors, tile and decking...I am smitten.
