The company rep was very professional and quoted a fair price. The installers were neat covering the floor with cloths and plastic. The work was completed on time and the workers were very informative, professional and courteous. Warranties and maintenance were explained. The company rep called to follow up and make sure I was satisfied. Would highly recommend this company.

They did what they said they would and did it efficiently and promptly. They did everything in two days and were very clean about their work. It was extremely impressive and they were very professional.

I was quite pleased that they were able to come out to my home pretty quickly to repair the unit. They had good customer service and they were very knowledgeable. I really liked their service.

If you want the best service at the best price, this is the company to use. When Al Uchitel, the owner of the company, says 100% satisfaction guaranteed, he means it. We had some problems with the first unit that was installed. As with any remodeling, we know that s not uncommon. How a company handles the problems is the key. The original unit s fan vibrated and was replaced, but the unit still generated so much vibration that the walls rumbled. We learned this was a very rare problem with modern systems. Al tried everything he could think of,including calling in the manufacturer s technical representative, and even blowing-in insulation material within the enclosed platform. Nothing worked. He wasn t happy; we weren t happy. So, he researched other units and platforms - and then he replaced the original unit with a different brand and platform! It works great: Normal vibration at the unit. No rumbling in the walls, and plenty of air.

The prices were very reasonable and they were good communicators. They were quick and thorough and they gave me good advice on what I should do about the leak.

Our air conditioner broke on the weekend and they were here repairing it first thing on Monday. They were very efficient with their work and they were nice. Everything has been working great since the repair was done.

I was scheduled a date for them to come out. On that date, the lady calls from Around the Clock and says she's going to cancel my appointment due to the "heat wave". I had taken the day off from work to wait, and she didn't call until that day. She tried to say it was my fault for not signing up for the service contract. That would've required an appointment too, right? Every time I've tried to call them, it's always been hard to get around her. She has a way of making you feel like you don't know what you're talking about. When the system was installed, every thing went great. She is the big negative to this company. I went with another HVAC company, and they came out the same day. What about that heat wave?

The only problem (beside that it cost me $5K) was that they were a little late but not much and that they didn't call to tell me that they would be late even though they knew. I had to call them. They arrived before 9 AM and got started right away. They sent 4 guys plus the supervisor and were done by 3 or 4 PM. AND, I had cold air coming out of my ducts after.

Mike gave me an estimate, which I thought was high. He called 5 days later but I already found another company to do the work. I quickly told him that and got off of the phone, (I couldn't talk where I was). Later he called me and said I sounded like I was mad at him earlier, I told him why I could not talk at the time, but repeated that I had found someone else to do the job. He proceeded to say something about how we spoke in depth about the system etc. and it was as if he was upset and could not understand why I didn't choose his company. I ended the conversation and proceeded to call the company number and spoke to someone named Matt. I told him how I didn't appreciate the rudeness and the aggressiveness of Mike. He defends him and tells me, "He's a salesman and that's what he's supposed to do." I was appalled and told him I was going to write a report about this situation on Angie's List, and he didn't seem to care. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of this company.

I cannot say enough about this experience - from sales person (Bob Gage) to installers (whose names, unfortunately, I did not get). This was one of my very best experiences ever with home improvement. Everyone came on time, was pleasant, listened to my requests, made alternate suggestions when my idea wasn't possible (e.g., against code), were neat and clean and worked like beavers.

Excellent service and have been using Around the Clock for annual maintenance for 5 years. Al and his team know the business and are professional and honest. I would highly recommend.

Yuri showed up for the estimate on time. He really knew what he was doing. He knew exactly what I needed and didn't try to oversell me. In fact I had to ask for a more energy efficient unit myself. They sent 2 crews, 1 for each living unit. They completed the work in 2 days, just as they said they would. The systems work great. Very quiet and reliable. It was one of the best experiences I've had with contractors at my home.

Absolutely horribly company to deal with! Despite all the warm feedback on Angie's List, I found Around the Clock to be rude and arrogant. The receptionist actually hung up on me because I didn't have two different phone numbers to give her! I know it sounds like an exaggeration - but that's exactly what happened. Perhaps they've gotten so successful that they can afford to treat prospective customers like dirt?

Called to arrange a time for them to come and quote. They refused to schedule a specific time saying it had to be a three hour window. I told them I needed a specific time and if they couldn't do that I would go with someone else, they said fine. I have given the job, which is going to cost over $10k to another company.

Excellent experience overall (and I'm really picky). We originally had Oleg, a technician, come out to service our existing unit. The condenser had a leak and since the unit was 18 years old, we decided to replace it. I got several bids, but decided on this company for 3 reasons. First, all of the rave reviews. Second, they could also replace our water heater and install a tankless in our kitchen. Third, I was very impressed with the technician. An owner or sales rep may say all the right things but they don't do the actual work. In meeting both the owner, Al and the technician, Oleg, I got real insight into the way this company operates. The job came in on budget and on time. The installers arrived on time, were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. There is one potential problem that Al pointed out. If we choose to fix it, Al will do so at no extra cost. He even gave us a rebate form for DWP. Highly recommend!

They were courteous and I would recommend them to anyone. They were on time and very knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and I was happy with the service.

I think this company was trying to keep the cost down to get the job. We did not know that the unit was too small until recently, so now we will need to replace the unit during a renovation that we are doing.

There were a couple of workers that told me different things as far as replacing the duct work, so I called the owner. He came out and said that I did not need to replace it. The owner was very nice. The workers showed up on time, cleaned up well, and they did a good job.

They had good attitudes and their service matched their claims. They cleaned up very well and they were resourceful.

I called them at 8am on a hot summer day and they were out here around 2pm same day. Problem diagnosed and properly repaired in about 30 mins. Expensive for the time they spent and parts they used (minor), but seems to be typical and can't beat same day service when your AC is broken!

The work was done well and I was very satisfied. They are a really positive company and the unit was top of the line. They treated us with the utmost respect.

The crew of two arrived on time (8:30 a.m.) and started working in the attic and outside the house. They were the quietest workers I have ever experienced. They just WORKED. At approximately 1 p.m. they took a brief break and resumed working. By 2:30 p.m., they were nearly done. The event continued until approximately 7 p.m. when a wiring problem was discovered and they chose to replace the wiring. They were clean, removed all the old equipment, and left the interior of the house as though they had not been here. The thermostat installed is simple to understand and offers many features. Even the system is quiet. Am I pleased and impressed? YES, YES, YES. Would I recommend them to others? Most assuredly. An electrician will be back to install the attic fan at some time this week. Very cooperative in terms of scheduling.

I have used Around the Clock for a number of years for the maintenance work on our heating and air conditioning. In my experiences, they have always been honest and fair in their dealings and are courteous and professional. They only do the work that needs to be done, and I would recommend them.

It was terrible. The repairman (Alex) started by saying our Freon level was low and that we would need a new system. When we decided to just charge the freon, he then claimed that we needed a new coil. From everything I understand, it's a $200-300 part and his "discount" price (via his manager) was $1900. From the moment he arrived, he spoke in technical language all with the intention of NOT performing low-end work and trying to convince us that we needed a new system. I'm amazed, given his attitude and the $65 fee that we got charged for NO work, that people seem to like this company. Sleazy was my feeling from beginning to end.
