The guy who came out was punctual and friendly. He accessed the ac panel (it sits next to our house, not on the roof) and knew right away it was the capacitor. We told me it would be $350 to change it. I said OK and he left to get the part. I then started thinking the price seemed high for such an accessible part to swap, so I called him on his cell to ask him how much the part cost. He told me $125. So I did a google search to discover the capacitor is a $20-$30 at the most. So, I called him back a second time to explain what I had found. He sounded aggravated and told me yes, you can get a part for that price but it would be s***. When I asked him to produce a receipt for the part, he told me he could not. He told me he was a business man??? I told him I wanted to cancel the service and would just pay him his $65 fee for coming out. He then lowered the price of the service to $250, as he would give me a senior citizen discount. I am 42. I told him no and thanked him. He then returned to my house while I had gone to get him his cash. My partner was there and he told him that the part cost $85 and that he would do the whole thing for $200. So we went from $350 to $200 miraculously. Shady to easy the least. I understand times are tough, but why not just charge an honest price for the part? Maybe double, then your installation fee. If he had originally quoted me $150 I would have been fine with that. BTW, he brought the part back with him and I wrote down the part number. I googles it and it was in fact, $21.00 not $125. I got the part myself locally for $30, installed it and my AC is working fine. Bad, overpriced service from this company.

Installation went smoothly. I had to call them later to fix a rattle in a intake grill and to adjust the baffles in the duct work to change the airflow. All done without any hassles. Overall, the installation--from A to Z, took three full days. The crew worked well together and each had his own task done without a lot of discussion. They were professional and cleaned up after the work was done. There was a little problem with the city inspection: Around the Clock used a sampling of equivalent home installations of duct work tests and the inspector was expecting them to test my home's ducts. The testing is done by an independent company. I called Max at Around the Clock and he took care of the glitch with the inspector directly and our home was approved by the city without the independent tests. Now, I can apply for the 3 rebates (approx.: $1000) which I haven't done yet.

They came on time and completed the installation. I was in middle on construction, and they came back free of charge to move a vent to help my building. They were professional and very thorough throughout, from sales through inspection. Inspector had no issue with their work and system has worked well. Price wise, I shopped around quite a bit and felt most comfortable with this company, though it wasn't the down dirty cheapest, I thought it was cheapest for best quality of work. I believe I was correct, and they were cheaper than other reputable companies.

We use this service for all of our appliances -- A/C, washer, dryer, dishwasher. Always prompt, fair and reasonable.

Igor was great. He was very pleasant and very professional. The charge was right in line with what we thought. He was able to fix the problem and get the air moving again. I would use them again and again.

They were able to come out on a Friday night at around 7:00 pm about an hour after we called them. They were able to fix our heater/air conditioning unit that previous owners had messed up. They also replaced a thermostat for us too. They were very nice and kind and we would recommend them to anyone.

The repairman Alex came out after hours to fix my air conditioner. He was very nice and professional and charged a fair price. The problemI encountered was when I called back to have my other air conditioner fixed The lady who answered the phone, Irena, was extremely rude, claimed I had called before and did not answer the door to the repairman even though I was holding the invoice in my hand for the work he did..She then came out and flat out told me she would not service me. Here you have a lady that literally turns away business.

had contractor out previous day and they disconnected the air conditioner breaker and forgot to re-hook it up. Around the clock noticed problem and corrected the problem. They could of charged me for a new breaker at $300.00 but didn't. Also, they were there within two hours after I called when temps with over 100 degrees.

I told the tech the blower motor was very hot to touch, and he said that when it over heats,as a safety purcaution. it shuts down the A/C. He told me that motor wasn't available, because of how old it was,and he couldn't get a replacement. However he than said he would have to replace the wheels or fan, and motor for $ 2500. It's funny how he said he couldn't get just the motor replaced, but he could if we paid $2500. So he gave us a invoice, and left. The invoice he left us was unreadable because of his hand writing. A few days later, I called the company because I couldn't read the invoice, which explained what he did, and recommendation for repairs.When I asked to please send me a readable copy of invoice, they read it to me over the phone, I didn't understand everything he was saying to me regarding repairs. The gave me a hard time when I asked the to email or mail me a copy of invoice. They said maybe next week. So I call anothr A/C man to come out and give me an second opinion, he will do the same repair for $700. I will never use or recommend this A/C company to anyone.

The service man was on time and very professional. They had given me a window of three hours for when they would arrive. I had to call and adjust the time on the day of the service and they were very helpful in accommodating the change. The repair was clearly explained and done in short period of time.

Around The Clock Heating & Air Conditioning Inc were fast and efficient and it has been 3 years and the system has worked very well since they put it in. They came in, they did the job and left. It took maybe 1 or 2 days to the most.

Our technician was very friendly, thorough and fast with the repairs.

Mike gave me an estimate to replace all ducts based on the square footage sight unseen but with no details. He made no recommendation for the air filtration system. I have had other estimates but each one showed up to inspect the air duct and made recommendation as to the air filters and air filtration systems. However, it is difficult for a lay person to compare apples with apples. He was extremely rude and impatient and was very reluctant to send any one out. He said, he would only send a sales person out. But never mentioned anything about an air filtration system. I would not recommend this company and will not do any business with them in the future.

One of my A/C system (in my brand new house) was not working so I called these guys to see if they can send someone out asap. They were able to fit me in that morning! Once at the house, Alex was very honest and told me that I should call the installer since it would be covered under my warranty. Not only that, he didn't even charge me. WOW! Honesty these days is hard to come by. Alex and his crew are definitely on my A-list.

This is one of two companies I will only use for heating and airconditioning unit service. They are extremelty punctual and I feel very confident in their abilities to solve a problem. Myheat was not kicking in and it turned out to be that my thermostat was reverting to a "schedule" so the tech showed me how to bypass that. He also checked the unit on the roof.

They were prompt, professional & courteous despite my complex condo building. He did express a bit of frustration with our building, but I didn't blame him! He was neat, clean, patient and efficient. Honored the coupon.

The technition looked at the unit and diagnosed the need for a new inducter draught motor assebbly to the cost of $700 without any sort of internal inspection of the unit. After some coersing. He agreed to remove the motor assembly, but informed me this no longer falls under the free estimate, and I would begin being charged $100/hr. I agreed. When the motor was finally out, I noticed one of four vibration washers was missing on the mount causing it to run out of balance. This was the issue I called about in the first place... I pointed it out to him, and again he tried to add a charge to fix it. Since I watched him pull the motor, and figured I could re install it myself. I paid the first hour fee, and sent him on his way. The whole repair took me 15 min, and a 10 cent part to fix. I am aware we all need to make a buck, but I would sooner sleep in the cold than trust this dishonest company.

Went well. The technician brought me onto the roof to show me what was happening. I had previously tried replacing the thermostat myself, which frustrated him a little bit, but I don't hold it against him. I would definitely use this company again.

Around The Clock Heating & Air Conditioning Inc's charge was reasonable. The person who worked on our Air Conditioner was honest in dealing with me. He said that a Nest control wasn't that useful, also that you can install it yourself instead of paying them to install it. So he was giving me options and not pushing sales.

It was excellent and they did it in very quick order. They were in and out very promptly. We're very pleased.
