Eli and his crew were exceptionally responsive on two separate jobs. They call, email and show up on time. Highly recommend.

Eli was easy to reach and responded quickly with an estimate. He provided several options for the recessed lighting and was more than willing to answer all our questions on the electrical panel upgrade. Once we decided to proceed, the work was scheduled within a few days. They handled securing permits, scheduling inspections and stucco repair. Eli was professional, on time, easy to reach and wanted to ensure that we were completely satisfied with his work. We would definitely use Ambient Electric again.

Eli came to the house to give an estimate for the work. He emailed me the estimate. Once I contacted him for what we wanted to have done based upon the estimate, he scheduled the work to occur the next week. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. In fact, they ran into a few issues with the dry wall in the garage. Eli stopped and asked me what I wanted to do and then proceeded. It was honest and good to include my input based upon the faulty work done by previous owner. They cleaned up after themselves. It was very efficient and well done. I'd use them again in the future.

Eli offered to schedule the afternoon of the same day I called which I accepted. His crew of two arrived on time and were very polite and enthusiastic about addressing and fixing the items. They finished the work in under an hour. I ended up paying less than I thought I might because the problems were not as serious as I had thought. The overall experience was totally positive and I will call on them again if/when I have an electrical issue in the house.

I received two bids for the service. Ambient Electric was within $100 of the other bid. I decided to use Ambient because his estimate clearly detailed all the work by item. He also included links to the lighting fixtures so I could see what they looked like before he ordered them. They arrived on time, and his crew did an excellent job adding new fixtures and removing many old, broken ones. They needed to run new wires to some, and they did a great job. I would use them again in the future.

This is the first time I used Ambient Electric, and I could not say enough about Eli's professionalism, knowledge, and experience. I live in a large older house with several subpanels and many different circuits. I had three different circuits that were not working and Eli went through each circuit methodically, and found and fixed the problems in each one (no easy task). He and his team were a pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend his company to anyone without reservation. He knows want he is doing, and did it efficiently and effectively. I will now only use Ambient Electric.

Eli and his crew worked very efficiently and thoroughly and when one of the out door lights did not work came right back to fix it. We were very impressed that Eli brought a full crew with him and everyone was very knowledgeable and nice. Eli's quote was very accurate and very fair. He came in less than another quote we had from another electrician and Eli was much more knowledgeable with everything we wanted. If we ever need any more work done we will definitely call Eli again!

Eli and his team were terrific. They were professional, polite, helpful, punctual, and reliable. A few things went wrong during the install that were beyond their control and they were remedied immediately. Eli and all the men who work for him were all incredibly nice. It went very well. Eli was on time, respectful and got the job done in an efficient manner. His pricing, which is by the hour, was also very fair. $95 for the first hour and $75 for each additional hour. We would definitely hire ambient electric again in the future.

Awesome service. Spoke to Eli early afternoon, technician was at our house within an hour and problems were fixed by 3pm. Very reasonable cost and highly knowledgeable -- would definitely use again.

My husband and I employed Ambient Electric due to their excellent reviews and "A" ratings on Angie's List. We were very pleased we did. Eli and his assistant, Danny, were very punctual, courteous and professional. They took ample time and professionalism in locating and trouble-shooting our driveway lamp post which took re-wiring, replacing the photo sensor and silicone sealing of the power box in our garden area. They also replaced our control box for our front porch lights as well as installing two sets of sensor lights on the outside of our house, testing all for accuracy before departing. They answered any and all questions we had during the repairs and installations. We were more than pleased with their fairness in pricing. They are definitely our go-to for any future electrical problems. Ambient Electric is excellent!

I chose Ambient Electric based on their stellar reviews on Angie's list. Eli came after regular work hours to accomodate my husband's schedule, on two occasions, to discuss the proposed work. He is a solid, honest, no nonsense, straight shooting kind of guy, whom you immediately feel you can trust. He said that he could try to match any other offers we had, with the understanding that the work compared would be of the same caliber. Eli was open to suggestions and incorporated my husband's ideas and vision into the final product. He was prompt with emailing his estimates and he and his crew of two very competent electricians arrived punctually on the first and successive days of work. The work took approximately four-five days. The crew barely take breaks and waste no time in getting the job done. I felt comfortable leaving them in the house without supervision when I had to run errands. Eli sometimes assisted with the work, but generally managed and supervised the crew, making himself readily available at all times by phone, and frequently appearing to check on their progress. They are detail oriented and clean up after the work they do, a service one expects but does not always receive from contractors doing messy work in the home. Ambient Electric is a company with very high standards, whom I have no qualms in recommending to anyone. I have since recommended Ambient Electric to a friend, who was well pleased with the work they performed. I will be using their services again soon as we have decided to have more electrical work done in the house.

Eli and team did a great job with the work in my bathroom. He replaced the fan and quickly fixed a problem with the light/fan switch that another electrician wasn't able to resolve. Eli gave me a quote over the phone that was completely accurate and and answered all of my questions while completing the work. I would definitely work with Ambient Electric again!

Ambient Electric came out to give us a free estimate for some landscape lighting. They showed up right away, on time and were very polite and professional. After receiving the estimate in a very timely manner we decided to move forward with the work. From start to finish, everything went extremely well. Eli sent a 4 man crew out, so that the job could get completed as quickly as possible and they were able to complete the job in one day. Very well planned and executed. The team at Ambient Electric is very professional and polite. They recommended LED lights and explained to us how much money we would save in the long run, which was very helpful. We are very very happy with the work and our yard looks amazing at night. We have received many compliments from the neighbors. I highly recommend Ambient Electric!

Contacted Ambient after reading reviews on Angie's List. Described the project to the owner of the company. He quoted a price we negotiated the price down ten percent based on a senior discount. The staff showed up a little earlier than we had initially scheduled after receiving a call from the owner of the company asking if it was ok to show up early once they finished their prior job. (Not a problem) They arrived about thirty minutes early, installed two electrical outlets outside and installed a new lighting fixture in the bathroom. The entire job was done in about an hour. Very professional, cleaned up after they finished. I might have paid a few dollars more than what the job entailed but it was well worth the extra few dollars to know the job was done right.

Eli called to say Danny & Geraldo would be by in about 1/2 hour. They were very polite & showed concern about not making any mess. They replaced the 2 switches with 2 very sophisticated ones that we really like, & more importantly meet code requirements. They also balanced and quieted a noisy overhead fan so that it now operates perfectly Finally, they added a weatherproof " bubble" to an outlet, & installed a switch so that we could turn our fountain off or on from within our home. They left, & a few minutes later, Eli called to ask if the job was done to our satisfaction, & I said absolutely, & told him that Danny & Geraldo were 2 good representatives of Ambient Electric.

Eli and his team were absolutely amazing! They are hard working, knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond our expectations. Our house has its challenges and they worked diligently and carefully to ensure everything was done properly. They also left the house cleaner than when they arrived. I would recommend them without hesitation and will call them again for future electrical needs.

They did excellent work - from getting the original estimate to completing the job. They showed up on time and were very conscientious in completing the work effectively and in a timely manner. Eli and his crew were friendly and patient. After the job was complete, the city pointed out a grounding issue and Ambient returned in a timely manner and effectively corrected the issue.

Eli at Ambient Electric was very prompt in returning my call, providing an estimate & scheduling the work. He & his team proved to be fast/efficient, courteous/professional and very skilled at what they do. They are also very nice people. The demo of the old outdated landscape lighting and installation of new LED low voltage system is a pure joy. They also replaced an under the cabinet kitchen light that had gone bad. I have a house built in 1929 that has had some minor electrical upgrades but still retained the original fuse panel. One day the socket that the fuse screws into burned out, resulting in the power going out for most of the house. The electrical in this house was something I knew would need to be addressed at some point anyway, so this was the push I needed to get it done. I contacted Eli at Ambient Electric after searching Angie?s List specifically looking for good reviews from the locals, for a local company. I made an appointment, had the situation evaluated, and got an estimate the following day that sounded about right. I followed through getting another estimate through a contractor found on Angie?s List but went with Ambient Electric based on my confidence in Eli and his ability to get the job done sooner. After initially making an appointment for a bit later in the week, Eli called and offered he could start the job much sooner due to another being put on hold. I took him up on this, so he got going on a Monday morning. He and his crew got here, started immediately, and worked into the dark to power up my house again. Tuesday was spent finishing/neatening up. The guys of Ambient were friendly, they did nice work and cleaned up in a flash before leaving late afternoon. Eli took care of the proper permits and met with the inspector at the end of the project, getting the final OK. I am very happy with the outcome and feel like it was money well spent for a lot of work.
