We've been seeing her for about two and a half years. She takes the time to talk to you. You don't feel like you're a number. She's good. Her office environment and staff seem very good. It's a small office. The first time we had to see her, it took a little while, but now she'll take us pretty much any time. She's pretty busy. Sometimes, you have to wait a little bit for her. She researches. She's really helped me. She's helped me quite a bit.
Description of Work: My wife and I both use Dr. Sweet.

Dr. Lo provided straight forward diagnosis and treatment and did not rush my time with her. I appreciated her approach and friendliness. Found my new Dr.!
Description of Work: I had a last minute request for an appointment with Dr. Lo, whom I had never met as I am new to Pacific Grove. The office was able to fit me in within a day of my call.

Described above. In addition to my women's check-up, she also ordered a mammogram and colonoscopy. Breast care center contacted me with results and colonoscopy doctor gave me results right after and will follow up. I think in this day and age it's up to each of us to be proactive and ask questions about our health.
Description of Work: I went in for my first consultation appt. on August 1 and met the doctor, went through all of her questions which she entered into her computer and we had some conversation. Then on August 26th I went in for my actual check-up and she introduced herself to me as if we'd never met. I guess I didn't make much of an impression 3 1/2 weeks before! I don't really understand why we need two appointments if we're just doing a routine check-up anyway. I mean, can't we just take a few more minutes and do the checklist at the same time? It's not like the "get to know ya session" did much. It's a pleasant office and staff. Ample parking and clean facilities. My appointment was very fast with no chit-chat. In and out which is good in some ways but I didn't really feel like she took any time to see if there was anything else. e.g. my last doctor who had to close her practice because of high costs used to check to see if I had moles anywhere on my skin and she would order blood tests to check for overall health issues not just a quick pap smear / lump check and then disappear. It felt kind of like Twitter vs. email. Twitter gets a message across, but no real depth.

Dr. Hendricks oozes competence! While I never needed the super anti-biotics that he prescribed for me when the first medications seemed to be taking too long, his willingness to make medicine a personal relationship with a patient was outstanding.
Description of Work: Dr. Hendricks is my primary care physician. He treated me for a nasty ear infection.
