Both he and his employees are very professional and will not try to oversell you on work that does not need to be done. He has always worked with our budget, whatever the job.

Finishline has an excellent reputation and since I drive to LA 3 times a week my car need needs to be in top notch condition. I decided to try Finishline. My first experience was a basic oil change which included a tire rotation. When we went to pick up the car John apologized that the tire rotation wasn't completed and told us to bring it back any time. Although I wished it had been done , I was impressed that he made sure to tell me and was willing to make it right. Next I had him replace the brakes. On the drive to LA the next day the shimmy was still there so John had us bring back the car. He didn't charge for the brakes since it didn't correct the problem and he worked diligently to find the source of the shimmy including a back seat ride-along. Finally it was found that a back rotor had been ground to low, we replaced it and the problem was solved. Last visit it was time to replace the timing belt. John is great about sharing how long you can wait for certain maintenance, in the case of my Toyota he assured me I could wait until 117k miles before replacing which is what I did, I really appreciated knowing I was still driving safely and didn't need to be concerned. John always goes over the bill in detail and on my invoice he noticed I was charged twice for the same part. He immediately corrected it. That's the kind of guy he is, ethical and honest, friendly and very easy to talk to, great listener and understands cars better than anyone I've ever known. I've experienced my share of auto garages I would never go back to, it's been fantastic to find Finishline and I plan on using them from now on.

The business phone line is answered promptly. John usually answers the phone. He makes you feel that you are valued and concentrates only on you to get what you need done for your car. He offers solutions and a time frame when the services can be done, and lets you know if there are services that can wait. He was punctual when he said the services would be done at a certain time. I have never experienced such great service in all the years that I have taken my cars to dealers and other local service shops. He is competitive in his pricing and honest about what it will take to complete the job. He foresees problems and tries to accommodate the customer so that you are not stuck waiting for your car in the shop. As a busy mom, those unforeseen problems are worth more than gold. I highly recommend him and trust 100% that he is a business with utmost integrity. I will only take my cars to his shop.

I have been going to John for years and wish I had gone sooner. He is honest, fair, respectful, kind and ethical. I trust him without reservation.

My car started shimmying slightly at high speed and because I commute to LA I wanted it checked quickly and thoroughly. John and his team narrowed down the problem to the front rotors which were warped and too small to grind down again. So we replaced them but my car continued to shimmy. I left my car with John the next day and they replaced the first set of rotors but also pulled off the back rotors and found the rotors had been ground below spec and needed replacement. At that point we replaced the back rotors and gave the car a front end alignment. After that the car drove smooth as silk and I couldn't be happier! John and his team are thorough, good listeners, and took the time to find and fix the problem(s). When they thought the original rotors were bad they replaced them with no questions or issues. They also fixed some minor body damage (a small section of rear panel popped out due to a fender bender) free of charge! Great team and I'm going back soon to replace the timing belt. They are ethical, honest and do excellent work. I highly recommend John and his team!

I came across Finishline from the Tire Rack website as a well-regarded installation dealer. I ordered a set of 4 tires from Tire Rack last Wed PM and they were delivered to Finishline the next morning. Wow, that was fast. I spoke with John at Finishline and made an appointment for the next day. Dropped the car off and went to lunch with my wife. 10 minutes out John called as the special key need to remove the security lugs was not in its cradle in the under floor area. (Sterling BMW was the last to use the key, but Irvine BMW was closer and was where I purchased the car). When I returned to Finishline I collected the car and rescheduled for the next Morning. I obtained the replacement key and arrived Friday AM for the appointment and left the car. They obviously got right on it as the job was finished well within the estimated time. The also took the used tires and wrapped them in cloth cases at my request so I can store them. Finishline is a class act with a high degree of professionalism and good old customer service. They did exactly what they said they would within the estimated time and price. All this with a smile. Many thanks to you John and your team for a quality experience. I would definitely take my business there again and in the future will recommend them to my friends and associates.
