This company is incredible! I have used them multiple times and they are professional, prompt, polite and do excellent work. When I had the HVAC system inspected the repairman asked if there was anything else he could do and I naturally thought he meant something to do with the HVAC. He ended up putting up a ceiling vent cover for me that I had been having problems with - no extra charge! I would recommend them to everyone!

I don't live in that house anymore. My daughter has used them most recently. I was on a monthly service plan with them. Their promptness of service stood out. I think they are a bit overpriced, but I have nothing to compare that with. My daughter had to have a major part replaced.

We have an annual maintenance contract with Bell Brothers. It costs $11.95 per month. Twice a year Bell Brothers initiates a reminder call that is time for our service. They set the appointment, call the day before to remind us, and the service person calls about half an hour before arriving to let you know they are on their way. They did our service today. The service representative was prompt, courteous, efficient. He put booties on his shoes when in the house. He cleaned the air filters, did the maintenance, and was on his way. The main office called a few hours to followup on the service call to be certain we had no questions and were satisfied with the call. We bought our furnace and air conditioning unit from Bell Brothers over 9 years ago. We have annual maintenance twice a year. We have never had any problems with the company, the personnel, or the service. I would recommend Bell Brothers to anyone looking for a new unit or for great service on an existing unit. I cannot say enough about what a great company they are to work with!

Called to make first-time customer appointment for their $89 a/c tune-up. The rep was curt and mechanical. There was no extra greeting when rep was informed that we had not used Bell Bros. services before. When I was asked if I was the owner, I stated that I was a renter. Instead of asking if I had authority to permit service to the premises, I was told that they needed approval from the home owner. "It's a liability issue." Ok, I did not volunteer the fact that I have permission from the owner to make routine and preventive maintenance on the home as part of my lease agreement. This little encounter left a bad taste in my mouth, so I terminated the call.

I get the checkup as part of an annual fee which gives me a discount on their regular services as well. They do what they say they are going to do when they say they will do it. The guys who came out are always very knowledgeable and professional.

Scheduling was pretty easy. They were very professional and the unit is working fine.

Overall it was a good experience. They came out the day after I signed the contract and completed the work. They left everything clean and the installers were very professional. A few hiccups result in the overall rating of a B. First, they had to order a custom air intake vent and said they would call in about 3 weeks when it comes in. 2 months later I called about it and apparently they had the product (not sure why I wasn't called) and so they scheduled a time to come put it in. When the guy came to put it in he look at the wall where it was supposed to be and said "they ordered the wrong part". That was inconvenient as I had taking time off have this done. Second, after the county noted a few issue they needed to fix, they sent someone out put he said he did not have the proper tools nor expertise to fix one of the issues. He called someone else and schedule another time when they could come fix it. Again just inconvenient. All other times they came out everything was as expected.

The person who came to do the maintenance said the system was such a mess that it needed extensive repairs and many parts couldn't be cleaned and needed to be replaced. He gave me a two page sheet with all of the repairs/replacements that were needed. He started talking me through them, but then said the total repairs would come to about $4,000. The repair quote isn't added up anywhere on the sheet, but when I added it up, it came to $5,000. I had someone from the Bell Brothers come to give me an estimate to replace the system. He was 1 1/2 hours late. I had to call he company to find out if he was still coming. The quote for replacement was between $9,000-$11,000. He noted that I currently have a "builder's grade" system, and that Bell Brothers uses higher end materials. I ended up getting two other quotes from other companies. Both of the other companies did not agree that the system needed to be replaced, and they felt that the heating unit could be cleaned, no replacement parts were needed. I chose one of those companies and ended up getting a new AC unit and repairing the heating system for much less than the Bell Brothers quote just to repair. And yes, I did go with "builder's grade" equipment. But even Bell Brothers said that the lower grade can last 15-20 years, and I only plan to live in the house 5 more years, (which Bell Brothers knew), so that was fine with me. I will say that both of the men from Bell Brothers that came were very nice, and I do believe they would have done a good job. I just felt the quotes were extremely overpriced.

See services. The start to finish of clearing line, etc. took less than an hour. Camera inspection was also less than an hour and was for no charge. I was shown which was nice. County did not know!

It went very well. They are very respectful of your property. They are always on time. I would recommend them.

They were easy to do business with and did the job well. The price was agreeable. I didn't get a lot of quotes on this project so I really couldn't say how they will compare for the price. I was really more concern that they are in the business for a long time and is going to be there if I need them than getting the cheapest price.

The work was done well, but the price for only being here for 15 minutes was much too high. Also tried to sell their Advantage Club membership, instead of creating an affordable, good deal for clients.

I became a fan of Bell Bros after using competitors for service. I had another company out to tune up my AC unit before the season. The other company just used it as an opportunity to get me to pay for all sorts of services. I got Bell Bros Heating and Air out and they performed most of these services as a part of their seasonal deal and didn't charge me anything extra. The difference is that Bell Bros wants you as a lifetime customer and the other places want to rip you off as badly as they can on their visit and hope you are dumb enough to keep falling for their tricks. Bell Bros has earned my business for the future.

I have been very happy with them. They are just really honest. They always give you the options so that you could make the choice that works for you.

They did a great job, were very professional and responsive. I only had a couple areas of issues throughout this complex job. 1) There was a problem with the insulation dropping in a drawer, but the were out immediately; also, 2) getting the permit took much longer than expected. The only thing that I would recommend is that the actual sales rep securing the job initially continue to oversee the consumer satisfaction, especially at the end. Thanks for the good job.

They are very good. They did everything they said they could do. Once in a while they try to gouge you, but I know how to handle that and they don?t do it to me anymore.

After repeatedly calling a well known Lodi heating and AC company to come out and perform work discussed in our initial consultation and receiving NO calls back, I called Bell Brothers. BELL BROS. DEFINITELY LIVES UP TO ALL THAT THEY PROMISE! They showed up on time, always followed up and immediately responded to an extra issue that came up during an inspection. Many companies will give you a 4-6 hour window, so you have to wait around all day and then they don't even make that window. Not Bell Brothers. They reminded me the day before, had a 2 hr. window and also gave me a more accurate ETA as they finished up a job before my appt. In any successful business, communication and professionalism are key, and this company has it dialed in! I only had one other quote to compare Bell Bros. prices to, and they were slightly less, but the Lodi company never called back. I don't mind paying a few extra dollars to get a crew that is reliable and professional. We moved to an older home that is in need of some TLC, and I feel reassured that I have a 'go to' company I know I can rely on for any heating and air problems. :)

The people are prompt & professional. No question. They even call to re-confirm their appoiintment (that's true for sales calls & their repairs). Time is money, and in peak demand periods, I don't blame them for ensuring someone won't be a "No Show". The guy did a full walk-around my home to make the proper assessment for the size unit I needed. He crawled up in the attic & looked around at the existing ducts. He did his calculations. Well.....he made a pitch to peddle me all new ductwork along with a new system. OMG. I hadn't expected THAT. My $8K AC system was now going to be $12K. But, he seemed to think I could get by with a smaller-sized system, based on their improved efficiency and the size of my single-story house. $300 - $500 cheaper. Big whoop. Of course, I needed to think about this type of expenditure & I was hardly willing to sign on the dotted line to get the work going, unitl I had met with 3 other companies & got their bids. End result -- ALL other companies indicated that for the little bit of savings in going with a smaller system wouldn't cut it on those 105-degree++ days in Sacramento. The minimal savings just wasn't worth it (besides, if I recall, the rebates may not have been available for that smaller system anyway....). Duct work/replace? ALL the other companies thought that was a crazy expenditure. They explained that they do generally have to patch the existing ductwork, as needed, in order to do the testing & received the required efficiency rating. My ducts were fine. I was asked if I'd planned on staying in the house another 30 years...which might make the expense justified at this time. NOPE. In conclusion, I'd probably have the Bells do a repair for me, knowing full well I'd pay top dollar for it. But I really felt that they were trying to over-sell me on a system....and all the trimmings with the added expense of the duct work. I passed. Incidentally, I didn't end up going with the absolute cheapest, low-balled bid, so it wasn't just about the lowest price.

This is a first class company. They are fair and do the job right in a timely manner.
