We paid for the advertised A/C tune-up. The service person didn't do anything to tune-up my ac which was still working after 20 years. I had to ask him "can you at least oil the fan"? The answer was NO. All I got for my money was a well written quote for a new system. SURPRISE! I'm still waiting for a refund.

They were fantastic. We have used them prior to this service because our air conditioner wasn't working very well. They did a great work. We signed up for their service. I like that they have all background checks done. I have a little girl home. I am at work and my wife as well as daughter is at home, so they do background checks. I like that part of it. They are always honest about the service they provide. They would tell me that part can wait for two years or it can wait for six months, and I am fine right now. I like their honesty. I appreciate that.

They were pretty quick and the system appears to be efficient and working. The price was reasonable. There were a few issues with the financing but we got everything worked out. The service was very good. They hauled the old system out and put in the new system quickly.

They were suppose to clean my air duct and run a diagnostic on my unit. However when they arrived it turns out that my unit was condemned and they weren't able to perform the services. I paid them and they left. The next day I was happy to recieve a phone call from their office manager who informed me that they would be refunding my money because they were unable to perform the work. I really appreciated their honesty and integrity and think it was a very nice thing for them to do showed up to my home anyhow.

First technician said compressor was good but needed freon. He pumped in 3 lbs of freon before realizing the system was a block of ice. He then defrosted the system and removed the extra freon. After that the compressor would not function. Second technician came out and verified that compressor is dead and went on to give an estimate (on binder paper and not provided to me) for options to replace. The estimates I had to write down myself and he convinced me to sign a contract to "save" a install date for the next week, before I was really ready to commit to one of the options. Because of the high estimates I decided to get a few more quotes and therefore had to exercise my opion of cancelling the contract. The other estimates I received were about 30-40% lower. I am sure they would have done a fine job. The contractor I did go with did a fine job as well for a lot less money. The unit I had installed was the same or higher quality and efficiency.

The bid was negotiated on Saturday and the installation was done on Monday. The negotiator was patient and answered all of my questions and negotiated clearly on the numbers. The installation team was friendly and also answered all of my questions. The job was completed on time and the house looked as clean as when they got there. The office followed up quickly with all the permit paperwork as well as the rebate forms needed. There was also a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied. All in all, a good experience.

They were all kinds of rebates and tax incentives. We would absolutely hire them again and we have recommended them to neighbors.

Telephone contacts and technicians were all professional and courteous. Would use them again without hesitation.

I didn't have to pay for their visit because I had a whole heating and air conditioning system put in the previous year so it was still under warranty. They are a little bit high but they do good work. I hope I don't have to hire them in the future but I would probably check some other places first.

They are very professional. They educated me about the kind of system that I have. They explained and suggested whether I had to repair or go for the servicing and why there was a problem and how to resolve the issue. They laid out all the suggestions so that I could take an appropriate decision. I was really impressed by them. The last time I didn’t spend anything as it was a covered under their package. He only thing I want them to improve upon is that to email the recommendations. I am very happy with their service. They are always punctual and on time. They also call me before they come in so that it’s convenient to me that I can know that they are on the way and I can schedule things accordingly. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

I give them the highest marks. I will use them again in the future.

Initial consultation was friendly and professional, workers were great. Our consult even came back during the project and brought my dog a toy. Awesome service

Everything went on well. The guy came in was the guy that I talked to at the show. He has asked when to set up an appointment. I also asked him who would be coming to do the work and he said that it was him. He was very polite. He was careful enough to put his shoe covers on while coming inside the house. He spent about 2 hours working on things and checking. He basically told me what he found and what was wrong. He told me that there was slight crack in the ground and it was leaking little bit and it would function for now. Then he cleaned up everything and everything was fine. They have a maintenance program and he asked me to sign up for that. I told him I will think about it. I didn’t feel he was pushy about the maintenance program or anything. He referred me somebody who would give me estimates for the different units. I can call their phone number anytime and they will send somebody for the same. I would use them in future.

After performing the tune up the service repair man came into the house and said I needed an entire new system and my A/C would probably not last through the summer. My system was about four years old at the time and I did not believe him, as I had no problems with it. He wrote up an estimate for a new system that was over $10,000 and left it with me. After he left I called another company for a second opinion and he came out and inspected my furnace and A/C. He did so and said there was nothing wrong with it and it should work just fine. This was almost three years ago and I have had no problems and my system has been through summer and winter twice and is still going strong.

They set it up so I have a thermostat upstairs and one downstairs. It is great. It cools the house perfectly. They were neat, clean, and professional. The work was expensive, but it was worth it.

The price seemed a little high for what he actually did. We seemed a little cornered by the situation, he was going to charge us for just coming out, whether he did the work or not, but he said he would apply that charge towards the work if he went ahead and did it.

The first tech who came out to do the tune up was good. However, the sales person who came out recommended a complete new system and that several items were not working well. Another company came out and simply replaced the thermostat and it fixed the problem. If I hadn't gotten another opinion, I would have spent close to 10K, instead of $100.

I spent around $300. They are very prompt, courteous, and thorough. They did a nice job. They were very clean.

I'm very happy with them too, they did a great job. I would recommend them to anybody. My old air conditioning unit crapped out and the heat pump wasn't doing good. So they both found me financing with the local electric utility. I wound up buying a new heating and air conditioning unit, saving as much as my monthly payment on the system. So it was a heck of a deal. It was like getting a free system. I recommend them to everybody. The thermostat alone was worth the price, it's a much more responsive and intuitive device. The whole thing works better.

Tenans called re: no heat during cold weather at the end of Dec. Bell Bros came and found the breakers for both heat and AC had been turned off...I wonder who did that! The breakers were turned on, the units inspected. The following day, our tenants called informing us the heat stopped working again. Bell Bros returned to our townhouse; but good news...before their arrival, the heater turned itself back on...job well done, the first time, Bell Bros. Thank you!

since then Bell Bro has called me 5 times to service the unit... 4 times I told them that the unit was at a rental house and gave them the phone number to the property management company so they could set a date with the renters ... Bell Bro's STILL are calling me as if it was the first call was told they would mark my account with the management co. phone number ....

The service was great and the routine maintenance in October was the same. Back in July the A/C portion of my roof mounted unit was running rough and it was due to the capacitor. The technician explained everything to me and he gave me the option of going up on the roof to exam the problems (which I did). I did have to wait for parts, but my system is about 12 years old, so it was understandable. I signed up for their elite membership, which essentially prepays your two service calls for the year and comes with a 20% discount on their services. After the July service they said they would call later in the year for the winter service check on the heat system. Sure enough, before I remembered to call, they called me in mid-October to set up a time for the winter service check. The same technician came both times to my house and he was friendly, always made sure I had my questions answered, and was on time. Also, they call the day before service as a reminder and on the day of service, they always call to give me a head's up that the technician would be over shortly, and he showed up within 15 to 20 minutes of their call, which I really appreciated.

A Bell Brothers repairman came to our home and did an assessment of the system. This system is not new to the company as we have had them on contract to do a semi-annual tune-up for the past couple years. The man told me that the AC coils were completely corroded and had to be replaced. He suggested that the cost of simply repairing the system and replacing the coils would run into the thousands of dollars and that a complete replacement of the system would make more sense. When I called another company to confirm the problem. they discovered that it was only a stuck zoning vent and the problem was fixed for only $69.00. They also told me that the coils were fine and didn't need to be replaced. It's been about a month since the simple repair and the problem appears to be fixed. Had I listened to Bell Brothers, I would be out several thousands of dollars for a new system.

We received a reminder call the day before the appointment and another call that day telling us the technician would be there in 15 minutes. He arrived less than 10 minutes later and went right to work after I showed him the compressor and explained our concerns. After cleaning the compressor and climbing into the attic to check a fan there, he explained what he had done. We needed filters of unusual size and he said where to obtain them or that we could order permanant and cleanable filters from his company. Upon his description of their scheduled services we signed up for regular check ups of our heating and air conditioning systems. He even replaced several light bulbs in our high ceilings - this was above the call of duty. He said the company will call us when it is time to schedule the fall check-up of our systems.
