 + -1 moreThe entire crew maintained an upbeat attitude that made the project go extremely well, even beginning with the demolition. We were able to make changes to the plan along the way that improved and simplified the original design concept (example: a wider opening to the storage section allows us to move equipment and bikes easily). Quality of materials and finishing work kept everything to our standards, but within budget (example: We researched countertops and picked one that holds up to many outdoor uses). I had red doors in storage that we found a perfect use for (see photo below). The stucco repair blended in seamlessly. The structure is more secure and warmer than before. We had to stop for some roof repair, but it was completed in two days. Meetings with installers went well because Stinson Duvall was always on site.
Description of Work: Rather than demolish our old garage and rebuild at a very high cost, we decided to create a more functional, aesthetic space and save money by upgrading the interior. Windows and doors were replaced. Walls were re-enforced. Insulation and drywall installed. New track lighting. Skylights. A sturdy floor had to be built over severely cracked concrete. A top quality entryway replaced the old garage door. Some custom cabinetry increased storage space. Beautiful!
